Be sure to check out our newly-added Skillsworn Manual which covers many of the core gameplay mechanics, combat tips, party management and more.

Character Creation Complete
Hey everyone we have some exciting news. We have finished the character creation and are continuing to work on the core game play mechanics for our early access launch. Character creation allows you to customize body type, hair style, eyebrows, face, facial hair, hair color, skin color, eye color, warpaint color, and lip/scar color. You will have the ability to randomize your look completely or tweak each one of these options individually. Along with look you can also name your character and choose your starting Mastery.
Your Masteries determine which types of skills you can have on your skill bar (think land types from Magic: the Gathering or professions from Guild Wars 1). You will be able to select your primary Mastery when creating your character, and eventually you will be able to also choose a secondary Mastery. The four base Masteries that are available during character creation are: Strength, Agility, Wisdom, and Intelligence. Each Mastery provides access to a unique pool of skills.
Strength skills focus on heavy attacks, defensive/offensive stances, and health management. Agility skills focus on swift attacks, defensive stances, and debuffing enemies. Wisdom skills focus on healing, damage prevention, and buffing team mates. Intelligence skills focus on spell damage, hexes, and energy management.
We already have a couple more partially implemented Masteries for enemies (Holy, Unholy, Nature) that will eventually be available to the player, and many more Masteries in the works.
The Long Road To Early Access
Hey everyone. We finally have the Steam page up! We are excited and are working hard to get enough content and functionality in preparation for an early access launch along with a small demo. Character creation is almost complete and should be finalized within the next couple of days. The next large feature on our roadmap is the Quest system. We will be making regular posts to announce milestones and new functionality as it is added.
In the meantime, our modeller/mapper has been hard at work detailing the starting maps and also making tons of new armor sets. Here are a few of the new armor sets:
