Paladin Class Guide
Paladins are powerful warriors that wield a sword and shield and channel their Righteous Anger to vanquish their foes and protect their allies!
SOLO PLAY
A Paladin flying solo can unleash the full force of their Righteous Anger to punish those who dare trespass against them. Initiate fights with Onslaught II to group your enemies together and follow up with Holy Ground to boost your offensive abilities and make your combo attacks free. Use Celestial Seal to quickly dispatch enemies facing you and use the Righteous Verdict effect as soon as it triggers. Divine Scourge decimates enemies all around you as opposed to in front of you—the more enemies around you, the greater their punishment. In battles against particularly strong enemies, follow your Holy Ground up with Radiant Aspect to maintain a relentless assault!
Celestial Shield I, Aegis of Light, and Waves of Wrath are all defensive abilities which can be used to shield yourself from enemy attacks.
TEAM PLAY
In a team, the Paladin’s role is tank. You will be distracting enemies and drawing their ire so their focus is on you and not your more vulnerable allies. Charge at the enemy with Onslaught II to knock them down and pull them and their allies closer. Waves of Wrath is next to knock down the remaining enemies and get their attention. Waves of Holiness also forces all nearby enemies to focus on you. Use a combination of Holy Ground and Verdict to keep enemies focused on you when your Waves of Holiness and Onslaught II are not available.
Protect yourself while tanking damage with your Celestial Shield I and Aegis of Light but space their use out carefully to give yourself maximum defense while leaving as few openings as possible. If a particularly strong enemy sweeps you off your feet, you can stand right back up using Radiant Aspect, which not only frees you from crowd control effects, but boosts your power and transforms the ground you walk on into Holy Ground!
ATTRIBUTES
Defensive stats such as General Defense and Protection Against Minions/Elite are the priority when you’re in a team. Main Damage and Critical Damage are best if you wish to play solo.

Lightbinder Class Guide
Lightbinders harness and wield the power of—you guessed it—light to support their party members and deal divine retribution to their enemies. While the Lightbinder is a support class, they’re more than capable of proudly standing their ground.
SOLO PLAY
Lightbinders can dish out some serious damage when they’re not helping their party. Begin solo fights with Particle of Light and follow up with Sparks of Anger or Pulsating Flare until you gain the Triumph of Light buff.
Use Blessing of the Sun to boost your damage and unleash the wrath of the Lightbinder with the mighty Burning Stream (hold down RMB), which will incinerate your enemies.
Aim to fight with Triumph of Light as much as possible, but don’t forget about Blessing of the Sun! If you notice it’s almost ready again, try and wait to use it before unleashing your attacks.
TEAM PLAY
Your main goal in group activities is to coordinate with your allies, support and protect them, and boost their performance. Empower your team with Flood of Light but make sure to align it with Blessing of the Sun to allow for some massive bursts of damage! Each damage burst will apply the “Weariness” status to your team, so when this happens you should switch to Pulsating Flare and until the weariness wears off.
Should your allies start looking worse for wear, come to the rescue with Unstable Shield. It will take the pressure off and grant them a damage absorbing shield for a time. If push comes to shove, your allies can always rely on your Sacred Barrier to protect them even from certain death. Lightbinders can even revive dead allies with the aptly named Rise and Shine.
When faced with more dangerous enemies, you can inspire your team by taking on the form of the Incarnation of Light which will boost the offensive and defensive capabilities of your entire group and even protect them from death.

While the Lightbinder is a support class, we suggest you focus on Main Damage and Companion Damage to help you out on your journey to Godhood and beyond!

EXOSKELETONS
The December update introduced Exoskeletons to Skyforge, a new type of Mount that grants special attacks and qualities to Immortals when equipped! The Armor of God Promotion ends on January 5 or 6 (depending on your platform of choice), but you can keep tackling Distortions this month to assemble your own Exoskeleton.

[/td][td]Onslaught II[/td][td]Paladin rushes towards the enemy and attacks with their sword, inflicting X damage and slowing the enemy down by 90% for 3 seconds, during which the slowing effect is gradually reduced. Inflicts 120% more damage for every 0.5 seconds spent charging towards the target, but no more than 600% of extra damage. Pulls all hostile monsters in a 12 yard radius towards them and prevents them from moving for 3 seconds. Forces the enemies to attack the Paladin for 3 seconds. Consumes Righteous Anger.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Holy Ground[/td][td]Creates Holy Ground around the Paladin for 15 seconds. In this area the Paladin’s combo attacks do not consume Righteous Anger, and the Paladin inflicts 30% more damage. Only one Holy Ground may be active at a time.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Verdict[/td][td]Attacks the enemy from a distance, launching a chain lightning at them that strikes up to three more enemies, dealing X damage to each. Final attacks in combos may grant the Righteous Verdict effect to the Paladin which will make this ability free, instant, and 100% more powerful. The chance of activating the effect depends on the combo length and the available energy. Activates companion’s attack.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Divine Scourge[/td][td]The Paladin jumps in the air and inflicts X damage to all enemies in the landing spot. On the Holy Ground or for 180 points of Righteous Anger: the area of effect is increased, and damage dealt is increased to X. Damage is increased by 50% for each target beyond two - up to a 200% bonus when you hit 6 targets. Fourth attack in the combo.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Radiant Aspect[/td][td]Removes all negative effects from the Paladin and teleports them to the selected target. Inflicts X damage to all nearby enemies and knocks them down. Makes the Paladin immune to control effects for 15 seconds. Creates the area of Holy Ground next to the Paladin.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Celestial Shield I[/td][td]Creates a shield that absorbs damage equal to 17% of the Paladin's health. If the shield is destroyed within 10 seconds, it will explode and inflict X damage to nearby enemies, stunning them for 1.5 seconds.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Aegis of Light[/td][td]Creates a barrier around the Paladin that absorbs incoming damage and makes them immune to control effects and removable effects for 4 seconds.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Waves of Wrath[/td][td]Attacks the nearby enemies with a sword, dealing X damage and knocking them down. The weaker the enemy, the longer they stay down. The ability does not require a target. Consumes Righteous Anger.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Waves of Holiness[/td][td]Inflicts X damage over a few seconds to all enemies in a large radius around the Paladin. Provokes the enemies into attacking the Paladin for the duration of the ability and for 3 seconds after that. The ability does not require a target. The attack continues for as long as the button is held down.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Seal of Light[/td][td]Inflicts X damage to the target and all enemies in the line behind it. On the Holy Ground or for 100 points of Righteous Anger: the area of effect is increased, and damage dealt is increased to X. Inflicts additional 150% of damage to monsters with more than 80% health. Second attack in the combo.[/td][/tr][/table]
[/td][td]Pulsating Flare[/td][td]Deals X damage to the enemy or increases the damage of the next attack of an ally. If the ally does not attack, the effect ends in 10 seconds. Pulsating Flare used against an enemy has a 10% chance to restore companion’s attack. When used on a friendly target, it restores 10 points of Light Energy. Has an 8% chance to apply the Triumph of Light effect to the Lightbinder for 20 seconds. Triumph of Light makes the next Particle of Light or Burning Stream free and increases their damage by 200%.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Particle of Light[/td][td]In a 10 yard radius of the target, all enemies take X damage, and all allies have negative effects removed from them. Negative effects are also removed from the Lightbinder regardless of their position.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Sparks of Anger[/td][td]Deals X damage to the enemy. Inflicts twice as much damage on targets with less than 50% health. Activates companion’s attack which will deal 2 times more damage.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Unstable Shield[/td][td]Protects the target with a shield that absorbs damage equal to 12.5% of the Lightbinder’s health. The amount of damage absorbed is increased two times if the target is an ally and not the Lightbinder. Duration of the shield is 8 seconds. When the effect runs out or an enemy destroys it, it will explode and inflict damage to nearby enemies.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Blessing of the Sun[/td][td]Increases damage dealt by you and your allies in a 20 yard radius 1.5 times. The duration of the effect is 7 seconds.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Sacred Barrier[/td][td]Creates a shield around the Lightbinder and every ally in a 20 yard radius in front of the Lightbinder. It absorbs incoming damage for 7 seconds and removes all negative effects. Once the ability is used, no one in your group can use it for 120 seconds.[/td][/tr][tr][td]
[/td][td]Rise and Shine[/td][td]Resurrects the selected target. Once the ability is used, no one in your group can use it for 10 minutes. The ability is available in PvE adventures only.[/td][/tr][/table]
