Champion Avatar Machavann is Here
The Avatar of the Phytonide Invasion, Machavann, will arrive on Aelion in two forms: Training and Champion. The Training Avatar is for beginners and those new to Godhood. It is adapted for groups of five characters and will definitely prepare you to eventually face the Champion Avatar.
The Champion Avatar is in a whole league of its own, and rather than tell you, we thought it’d be better to show you his moveset and how to defeat him with the help of Skyforge Content Creator, Crazy Pickle Gaming.

Some tips and tricks for defeating Machavann:
You can tell where his branch attack will land by looking out for the bright marker on the ground, but if a player does get hit by this attack, it’s up to the others to free them.
During God phases, non-gods need to avoid the red, purple, and green projectiles.
Defeat additional summoned enemies as quickly as possible.
Watch out for the purple arrow beneath your feet—the Entid is coming for you!

Aelion Day 2021
Aelion Day is upon us, Immortals! Six whole years of playing, battling, evolving, and getting that sweet sweet loot. We appreciate the time and dedication you’ve spent on our game, and if you’re a newer player, buckle up—your journey is just beginning!
Our annual Aelion Day event starts on April 7. It will run for two whole weeks, so there’s plenty of time to get in on the celebrations!
You must be used to rescuing mortals by now, but this time it’s a little different. During the celebrations, they say that each mortal rescued increases your chances of receiving a prophecy—an item that contains a mysterious message. Decipher the message and fulfill the conditions it sets, and you will receive Threads of Destiny, which can be exchanged for goods in the Market. Some new goods to keep an eye out for are a new mount, banner, masks, and some stylish costumes.
You may hold up to three prophecies at a time and you can sell them to gain new prophecies if you’re struggling with a hard one. There are different levels of prophecy: normal, great, and special. The more normal prophecies you fulfill, the more likely you are to get a great prophecy. Special prophecies are quite rare and give better rewards, and you’ll get one of these each day the event is active as a login bonus!
You can also earn anniversary costumes and a portrait decoration as rewards for completing challenges throughout the event. If you’re struggling to decipher your prophecies, perhaps your fellow Immortals can help you! Join our great community on Discord.
Aelion Day will run for two weeks on each platform. It will end on April 21 for PC.

AELION DAY
Light some candles, eat some cake, wear a silly hat, because it’s our birthday! April 2021 marks the sixth anniversary of Skyforge and we could not be happier to share it with you. To celebrate with us on all platforms, we bid you take part in our annual Aelion Day event which starts on April 7 on PC, April 8 on Xbox and PlayStation, and April 13 on Switch. Solve and complete prophecies for rewards, and you may even see your own prophecy in the game if you took part in our Prophets of Aelion community contest! There will naturally be some shiny new cosmetics up for grabs for this year’s event too, as well as old favorites.
NINTENDO SWITCH: SHADOW OF AELION UPDATE
April 13 is a huge day for Nintendo Switch players with the start of Aelion Day, the Phytonide Invasion, and the massive content update that is Shadow of Aelion! This update brings a brand new region to get stuck into, the moon Thea. This is an uncharted territory and exploration will likely be hazardous—will you risk your life for the coveted Aelerium-9?

The Phytonide Invasion continues on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, and begins on Nintendo Switch on April 13. Complete seasonal challenges, defeat formidable flora, and earn some great time-limited rewards. Machavann will be waiting.

They’ve put two pranks in the game for you to find, and if your server finds both pranks, Aeli’s blessing will shine down upon you for the whole weekend! Not only that, but we’ll be giving away five Phytonide Invasion Passes too!
If you think you’ve found a prank, take a screenshot of your character standing next to it/in the vicinity so we can see it, and send it to us via Discord in the contest_room channel in your platform’s server (PC, PS, Xbox, Switch) before April 6. Be sure to include your name and region. If you and your fellow Immortals in your region find both pranks, you’ll be blessed by Aeli over the weekend of April 9 17:00 CEST (8 a.m. PDT) to April 11 at 23:59 CEST (2:59 p.m. PDT)!

Invasion Atlas: Know the Basics
Invasion Atlas is a web of various bonuses, and paths to reach them. Some of these bonuses require you to unlock previous bonuses along the path, and others have direct paths that allow you to skip right to them.
The Invasion Atlas provides bonuses to certain class abilities, symbols, and in some cases even for specific group compositions, and bonuses can vary—from massive damage or defense boosts for certain classes, abilities, or symbols, to supporting bonuses which affect your entire team, making you all stronger, but usually requiring at least a moderate degree of coordination to be effective.
As the name suggests, the Invasion Atlas is specific to each invasion, and each new invasion has a new web with new bonuses that change the flow of gameplay and determine the meta (most effective tactic available/applicable) for that specific invasion, allowing for different classes to rise to the top, or certain builds and setups to be used that would not usually. The fun part is discovering the best way to get the most out of your current Atlas and the bonuses it provides.
To progress through the Atlas, you need to gather Eidos from the invading army. Eidos can be obtained by doing a daily invasion directive, and by participating in daily operations. You can speed up your progression by purchasing Eidos Replicators from the in-game Market which will double the amount of Eidos you gain.
Exoskeleton: Know The Basics
An Exoskeleton is a new type of mount invented by Flavius that grants its wearer special abilities and an Immortal can also use divine weapons while wearing an Exoskeleton frame. An Exoskeleton is made up of four parts: base, back, arms, and legs. The base grants a few bonuses and the other parts are attached to it. Each additional module can improve the suit dramatically—the modules can do a number of things, such as improve durability and speed, charge Companion attacks, allow for flying, and increase damage dealt with emblems, amongst other things.
You can get started on your set with a free Exoskeleton base when you unlock your Divine Form and complete the Exoskeleton tutorial. To unlock this tutorial quest, you need to have completed the equipment (upgrades) tutorial previously. You’ll need to get more Modules yourself. Each module has several properties and can vary in quality, not unlike other equipment. The higher a module’s quality, the more bonuses it has.
You can find new modules by earning them during promotion events (9 events) and progressing through some Invasion Passes. When clearing Distortions, you will get either a module or Exoskeleton Parts, which are required to upgrade existing modules you have. You can also attain these Parts by disassembling modules you don’t want or need. You can do your upgrades in the Equipment Upgrades menu, where you can also see how many Parts you’ll need to upgrade your desired module.

CHALLENGES
Complete special Seasonal Challenges to earn points throughout the Invasion and progress through up to 20 levels of special rewards, including exclusive limited-time items! Seasonal Challenges are divided into Easy, Normal, and Hard categories, and more will be unlocked as the Invasion progresses (in the first, third, and fifth weeks). You’ll earn more points when completing certain challenges within the first few days of each stage, so check back often to finish your Invasion Pass even faster!
AVATAR OF THE INVASION: MACHAVANN
Machavann is out for blood and revenge. You can challenge this formidable flora in the Invasion’s third week to claim its Avatar Trophy – and collect more Trophies to unlock Divine Aspects! This battle is a big one, but if it’s more challenge you’re looking for, Nightmare Challenges offer just that. Progress through them to earn Phytonide Eidos, and unlock special bonuses through the Invasion Atlas!
CAPITAL BUILDINGS
New special prototypes are now available in the Tower of Knowledge. What makes them special? They can be activated at the same time as normal prototypes! This will help you cope with the stronger enemies out there and get through nightmarish Adventures. You could get:
The Cathedral is also changing. Where previously you required more and more followers to reach the limit with each season, now you only need the same number of followers. However, the number of followers joining the ritual kept increasing to the point that development of the Cathedral was too fast. To correct this, the number of followers that join you after a ritual have been reduced. This doesn’t affect the catch-up system—once the catch-up limit has been reached, it will take you longer to reach the limit in the Cathedral.

St. Patrick’s Day is Here!
Green Week is here! St. Patrick’s Day is on so many calendars around the world for good reason, and ours is no different. In our case, Aelion is ready to celebrate with dancing and goodies! We’ll give you a hint as to how to get these goodies: you might want to help the mysterious green dancers when you see them, as some say they are trickster gods who bring good luck and generous rewards.
For the duration of the event, which lasts until March 22, all plant sources of Rare Crystallite turn into Magic Clovers. When collecting this resource, you will also receive a small amount of Ether Clovers and perhaps even an Amulet of Luck – a special four-leaf clover. Use the amulet in Group adventures to get a random positive effect that lasts until the adventure is done. The positive effect can be more damage, a health bonus, a faster ultimate recharge, or other exciting buffs.
The legendary green dancers are more likely to appear if you use a four-leaf clover in a Squad adventure to activate a great Blessing of Luck. As well as Blessings of Luck, there are other ways to find the green dancers. You can complete quests to earn green coins three times a day every day of the event, and the fourth quest rewards you with Ether Clovers.
Once you have enough Ether Clovers, you can trade them for costumes, mounts, and even emotes! There are brand new items to get your hands on too, so if you want some extra green in your life and your wardrobe, take a look at the variants of the cool Cowboy costume, stylish Steampunk-inspired Prestige Mechanics costume, the Wings of Vows, and more.
