Update for Hypnospace Outlaw: Saves & Surprises Update
Hi everyone!
We're here to drop you a new update for Hypnospace Outlaw - the saves & surprises update!
We've also got some Slayers X news coming soon - so be sure to keep an eye out when that drops!
To celebrate, we've got a Steam Daily Deal going for Hypnospace right now, which means you can grab the game for 75% OFF!
We've made some changes to Steam Cloud Saves, alongside some cool new stuff in-game too! Here's what you can expect to find:
Updated the game engine to its most recent version
Save location migrated for Steam Autocloud cloud-save support, and GlobalSettings save file is no longer synced
Mod.io API update (they changed their API URL)
The application window's close button is now captured by HypnOS, so when you click the [x] to close, it will prompt you to log off first
Two additional people added to credits, we're sorry this took so long!
New default controller layout for a better experience on Steam Deck

Some changes to QueenOfSanderverse poetry, what shouldn't have been there is now GONE
A popular, much loved Hypnospace user can now safely be flagged on any/all days, which could change the outcome of certain things...
Hypii is now way more dynamic at the start of the HAP chapter - he might just pick up on the present!
HAP page-captured spin animation in the Explorer no longer gets "stuck"

whats up its zane. I just wanted to come on here and tell u that your awesome for playing my game. unlike those crybaby psykos bwl…..anyway I added some cool new features to slayers and I fixed some of the bugs the psyko wusses planted in their. Ive broken it down below…. thats it for now but theres more coming to slayers so stayed tuned….
- new feature: Level Select screen u get after beating the game, start a new game to access it - new feature: see total map secrets, enemy, & playtime on the map screen (M by default) - new feature: frame rate controls - improved difficulty balancing on InZane & Im Awesome difficulties - map 5 quicker hackblood recharge so u can get a hang of using it - fixed keybind bugs - fix to culling bugs (disappearing level) on map 7 - added bong back under mevins desk... oops accidentally deleted it - saving/loading fixes for boss and arena fights. (wont retro actively fix things.... u have to restart a map if you have a broken save) - many other small fixes
were working on other fixes and graphics for ultra wide mode in the next patch.... and some other things hehehaahahahaa

PHEW! What a mad few days it's been!
We launched Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer last week, and what can we say, it's been CRAZY! Not a single psyko in sight - they must have all run home to their mommas like the WUSSES they are!
We want to thank each and every one of you for the support and love you've shown us over the last few days - we're so thrilled to see you all enjoying Slayers X, and we've been having some laughs along the way BWL
You've all been sharing your content, secret finding, your badass stats, and of course any bugs or anything unusual that the psyko syndikate might have planted in the game... losers
There's more to come with Slayers X of course, which we would love to share with you soon, but currently we are working hard on bug fixes and making sure anything untoward is gone from Slayers X (kinda like the psyko syndikate BWL). We will give you more details very soon, so keep an eye out in the meantime!
However, we also want to know what you want to see in the future of Slayers X! Be sure to let us know below, or you can share your thoughts in the Discord!
