Slime Sports

Even more stages and slimes

The newest expansion for Slime Sports is officially live!

What's new

  • Two slime powers

    • Sticky Slime - Use your spikes to grab the ball and carry it with you
    • Apple Slime - Drop fruit on your foes to knock them out.

  • Four interactive stages

    • Peaceful Pasture - Relax in the rolling green meadows by a rustic farm house.
    • Clickity Clock - The gears are in motion. Can you use the pipes to your advantage?
    • Cirque du Slime - High-flying action on a trampoline, what could go wrong?
    • Jazzy Junction - Sip some coffee and watch the rain fall. Watch out, it's slippery when wet.

...and that's not all!

Price Updates

The price in gems for several items in the shop has gone down:

  • Instead of a flat 3000 gems each, stages now start at 1000 gems and as you buy more the price of each stage increases slightly.
  • Costume upgrade prices have been reduced by 60% from (500/1000/1500) to (200/400/600)

More stuff available at launch!

For the first time since release, we've updated the initial roster of slimes available without needing to unlock through tournaments and gems...

  • Explosion Slime (previously available only from winning tournaments or purchasing with gems) is now available for free.
  • The newly created Sticky Slime is available as well.

Additionally, 2 more stages are available.

  • The newly added Peaceful Pasture
  • The Pensive Pines (don't worry if you already bought it. You'll automatically get a refund)

For those keeping track at home, that brings the free stage count up to 6 (and a total of 15 when they're all unlocked).

Other stuff
<*> New achievements to go along with the new slimes and stages.
<*> Various bug fixes and cosmetic updates
<*> Render performance improvements on several stages

Introducing Paintball

The second major content update to Slime Sports is officially online. In addition to various bug fixes and UI tweaks, this update brings the first new sport since the game first launched!

Paintball

In Paintball, your goal is to claim all four randomly placed walls for your team. The game starts with all the walls blank:

To score, you claim walls for your team by hitting the ball into the walls:

You win the point once every wall is your color.

Paintball is a first class sport, with achievements for winning with different slimes, as well as new hidden achievements that you'll have to figure out for yourself.

...but wait, there's more!

Toggling Room Effects

Tired of getting hit in the face with coconuts? A new setting is now available in the Gameplay Options menu, "Room Effects" (on by default). If you turn in off, the gameplay effects for every room will be disabled, including the coconuts of Paradise Palms and the ravine of Lava Land.

It affects tournaments, quick game, and arcade mode. Unlike the other gameplay secrets, this doesn't need to be purchased with gems. It's available immediately for everyone

Power Balancing

Some of the slime powers have been tweaked to make them slightly stronger or weaker by changing the cost of power invocation.

Random other stuff

- Bots can no longer earn achievements for you.
- Added a tracer effect to the purple firefly in Pensive Pines so it's more obvious what's going on.
- When Yogurt is polymorphed into a rabbit or turtle, it now keeps its swirly hat.
- Tweaked the difficulty for Racketball and Volleyball. Bots are now little bit slower and dumber on the lower difficulties, which should help with them feeling relatively overpowered compared to Soccer.

New Slimes, New Stages

Hey everyone,

I'm very excited to announce that the first major content update for Slime Sports is finally coming out of beta today.

What's New

  • Four brand new slimes are joining the roster.

    • Cowboy Slime - uses a fire whip to draw in the ball
    • Eskimo Slime - builds giant icicles that can stop a ball in its tracks
    • Spirit Slime - haunts the ball, giving it full control of its movement
    • Yogurt Slime - loves yogurt.

  • Three new stages

    • Paradise Palms - Make your matches a bit more tropical (watch out for coconuts!)
    • Crystal Caverns - Take the fight underground and compete in the light of the mysterious crystal gems.
    • The Boundless Beyond - Lasers, portals, flying saucers with inexplicably bad aim. The future is now.

  • Even more achievements to keep up with the new content. (We're finally over 100!)

On top of that, we've heard your feedback and have made a couple changes to the way shop items are unlocked. In addition to competing in tournaments, you can now earn gems in any match against the computer. That means playing in Quick Game and Arcade matches can help you unlock new slimes and stages.

Happy playing!
