Update 1.3 Announcement

Hey Slimesventure friends!
It's been another 3 months since the last update, but now we're even more excited to announce a new update for you.

General Changes



Shop Page


As you may have already noticed, we've added a new, re-designed Shop Overlay. The library images have also been improved. Somehow, and we don't know why, the library images were never updated. We hope that this will be done in the near future.
Also, the first 18 Achievements collectable with Update 1.3 are already set.

Gameplay


- A new side quest called "The Lost Medallion" has been added to the game.
- A total of 18 Achievements have been added to guide you through the game.
- A number of minor in-game bugs have been fixed
- Various information signs added for a better exploration experience
- The inventory tutorial window has had some enhancements and adjustments.

Graphics


- Added nicer animation to the text box
- Surfaces such as the shops have been given animations or have been improved.
(Update 1.4 will include graphic updates)
- Slimesventure: Your destination now has a more fluid logo
- Starting room is now smaller and looks nicer
- Some of the textures and tile sets have been improved
- The menu has been expanded and made more attractive
- More voluminous vegetation in the beach area
- Shadow overlapping has been fixed and added to the prologue scene

These are the major components of the upcoming 1.3 upgrade.

Update 1.3 is expected to be released in the coming days.

Hello Community!

The time has finally come for the 1.2 update of Slimesventure: Your Destination, which is scheduled for 1 June 2023! The changes coming with Update 1.2 have already been defined in the Update 1.2 Preview and there are hardly any deviations. Get Slimesventure: Your Destination now for free on Steam here: Download.

Update 1.2 Preview

Hello Community!

After some free time and exams at the university, we are proud to announce the next upcoming update 1.2 for our latest game: Slimesventure: Your Destination.

This update mainly contains changes for the player kingdom area.


  • Liveliness
    The area is mostly quiet and has only a few animations that can be seen on the screen. To make things livelier, we decided to add more people and animals to the environment, making the scene more interesting and appealing.

  • Buildings & Upgrade Levels
    Most of our buildings only consist of 1-2 stages of upgrading. In this upcoming update, ALL buildings will have 3 upgradelevels.

    The current upgrade/construction animation needs to be changed. So we have decided to give each individual building a unique and custom upgrade animation. This animation will be played every time that specific building is constructed / upgraded with textures that are appropriate for its current level of upgrade.

    In the next update, a hospital will be added. This is necessary to reduce the chance of people dying after a conquest.

  • Overlay and Gameplay
    The player needs to have a better view of the things that are going on in their own kingdom. The first thing we are going to change is the overlay of the kingdom itself. The current amount of each item that is stored and the amount that will be produced the next day will be designed to be cleaner and easier for the player to read. The overlay will also be smaller in general, so that it doesn’t take up as much of the screen as it did before.

    In addition the overlay of the kingdom storage will have a better design and those Items can also be viewed in an additional overlay, so that you don’t need to be in the near of the storage chests anymore.

    In terms of gameplay, the current combat system will be overhauled. Currently, there are points that need to be fulfilled before you can conquer the next location. These points will be changed to recommendations. So you can always start a conquest to the next location. The chance of winning the next conquest will be listed each time you are about to conquer.

    To make things even more interesting, you now have to feed your soldiers on a daily basis. The time you start a conquest will also affect the chances of winning, due to fatigue and reduced visibility.

  • Balancing of productions and construction costs
    With the upcoming update 1.2, the production of each building and its construction costs will be adjusted to provide a better player experience and make the days leading up to the King’s Assault even closer and more exciting.

    The adjustments to the crafting recipes will probably be part of the next update 1.3.

Update 1.1 Released

After a short delay, update 1.1 is now available to the public. See all patch and update notes:

Patch/Update-Notes:

World
> Prologue added
> New railway signs at Neutral City (train station).
> Picnic at the Woodlands at a certain time.

Kingdom
> Each building in your kingdom now has a description of its purpose
> Each building now has a blueprint button that adds an additional overlay with the required resources for that building

Quests
> New banners for side quests
> Under the compass you can now see the name of the next quest location
> Completed quests will now give you a ruby for the wizard character

Characters
> New design and idle animation for Timmy (Adventure Guild)
> New dialogue lines for the Timmy
> New design and idle animation for the construction worker (bridge)
> New design and idle animation for Marcus (Energy Centre)
> New design and idle animation for Tommy (restaurant)

Bugs/Fixes
> Missing shadows on some objects and terrain - added/fixed
> Tommy could not be interacted with - fixed

Update 1.1 Preview

Hello Community,

this month the 28th of October the Update 1.1 for Slimesventure: Your Destination is planned and will presumably include the following content additions/ or changes:

1. Adding a Progloue

  • The introduction sequence to the game is short and contains barely any information about the prehistory until the time of the beginning of the game. In order to change this, a complete prologue with sequences and back story telling will be added with the upcoming update, which can be played by the player in a mixed combination of Gameplay and Sequences.

2. Improving graphical Elements

  • As a graphical artist and game designer, textures and terrains are not constantly appealing. Correspondingly, some of the old elements will be revised and improved.

3. Expanding the Content of consisting Terrain

  • A open world is nothing without its details that make it interesting. To overcome this, there will be no additional areas in this update. Instead, some of the existing areas will be expanded in their size and content.


After the release of Update 1.1, there will be a detailed list of all patch notes in the update post.
