We're excited to have released Smash Up - Pretty Pretty today!
As well as releasing the expansion pack, the base game has received various bug fixes to make gameplay much smoother and stable.
What does Pretty Pretty bring to Smash Up we hear you shout?
Get ready to take your global domination to another level. Pretty Pretty may be filled with innocent looking Princesses, harmless Kitty Cats, majestic Mythic Horses and tiny Fairies, but these factions are not ones to be reckoned with! Pretty Pretty gives you even more options when it comes to faction combinations, and adds a heap of new bases for you to conquer as well.
Pretty Pretty has also been released across Android and iOS today so players will be able to play online against their friends no matter which platform they're playing on!

Smash Up - Beta Version now available
Hey Smash-Up-Ers!
We've just put the new beta build of Smash Up live on the beta channel. Going forward it will use your Steam ID for online play and won't request that you sign in to anything.
Right now we're trying to just get as much information as we can about what is working and what isn't. So the more you play, the better!
If anyone can coordinate online multiplayer games that would be awesome, but simply hammering the game will be of massive use to us here.
How to access the beta:
To access the beta build please do the following;
Go to Steam
Go to Library
Right click on Smash Up
Go to Properties
Go to Betas
Type in the code smashupbetatest
Click on Check Code (don't hit enter as for some mystical reason that closes the properties window)
How to tell us what is broke:
We have an official Discord for all of our games, and you can talk about Smash Up Digital there too!
You can use it to find games with other players, and of course report bugs. You can also talk to our lovely community on there, isn't that nice?
To join up, just follow this link: https://discordapp.com/invite/nomadgames

Smash Up Patch - 17/07/18
Hey all,
Apologies that this has taken aaaages to come out and also that it's fairly small. We've had a vital crash that Android users have been seeing for some time so it was necessary to patch.
This update contains that fix as well as some minor improvements to online lobbies so seeing games on other platforms should be easier to find.
Along with the above we will be entering beta for the first DLC pack in a few weeks time - there will be more news to come on that shortly.
Smash Up Patch - 07/02/18
This post comes 2 days late - sorry about that!
There's been an update for the game that is a direct response to a lot of the views and concerns that have been expressed by users and we are doing are best to work further on improving the game for you, the fans.
If you have any comments - positive or negative - then please let us know. If you let us know what we're doing right then we know not to mess with formula. If you let us know what we're doing wrong then we know where to change things. Keep in touch!
There have been a lot of under-the-hood optimisations to improve cards movements, lag, graphics issue, crashes, blocks and freezes but the below are the key points.
Online multiplayer now back up and running.
Skip tutorial button.
Browse Hand View - there's now an icon that allows you to view each individual card in your hand to help make text clearer and selection easier.
Thanks to all that have submitted their thoughts and have supported Smash Up. We're going to increase our communications with you, the users, to keep you more informed so you know what we're working on and what direction Smash Up is going in.
Smash Up Digital news.
If you have already purchased Smash Up from Nomad Games in Early Access, Asmodee Digital will now provide you with an updated and improved version for free.
If you downloaded the free version from Nomad Games during Early Access, the full game is now for sale as a complete package with all original factions included.
When the game was in Early Access, Smash Up was provided free with limited factions (3 factions) and players could pay to expand the game to have the base pack of cards like in the physical game version plus The Geeks deck for free.
Now the game is now a single premium priced package with all the factions available that were originally sold as separate items.
Hereafter are the main differences between the early access version and the premium version that was launched on the 12th of October;
nine factions sold as a single package
cross-platform play
new chat feature
detailed tutorial
improved UI
support for French and German languages
The free component of the game from the Early Access version will thus be discontinued.
We'd like to take the time to thank all of you for giving Smash Up your time and attention and we are especially grateful to all those people that took the time to provide feedback and help move Smash Up towards to the high-quality game it is today.
Smash Up moving to Asmodee Digital
To everyone who has tried out Smash Up on Early Access, we have some important news. The final retail release of Smash Up will be published by Asmodee Digital. Please read the following if you have downloaded or purchased a copy on Early Access.
If you have the free version, we aim to make it possible for you to retain that version. If you have purchased DLC content, you will soon become the owner of the brand new premium version of Smash Up which is to be published by Asmodee Digital, a part of the Asmodee Group, one of the world’s biggest publishers and distributors of board games.
Why the move?
Asmodee Digital has a large audience of tabletop game enthusiasts and is creating a digital collection of popular tabletop games. They invited Nomad Games to work with them and add Smash Up to their growing collection, which includes many well-loved titles like Ticket to Ride, Small World, Splendor, Colt Express and more besides. In simple terms, it enables us to reach a greater audience and gives us access to greater know how in the world of tabletop gaming.
You may have noticed we have not been updating the game here recently. This is because we have been working hard on many improvements to the game with input from yourselves, Asmodee Digital, and our QA teams. We are immensely grateful for the comments and suggestions that people have taken the time to post here in Early Access, and to Steam for giving us a place where we can figure out how to make the best game possible.
Please keep an eye out for announcements from Asmodee Digital concerning the full launch of Smash Up. If you are one of the many folks waiting until the game is free of bugs and has an improved level of polish, we hope you will like what you see and join the Smash Up community where players from Steam and mobile platforms will at last be able to play together.
Patch Notes #7 - Local Multiplayer
A fairly small update with some fairly important things in it.
Pass and play is now a game feature.
Choose which factions the AI uses in local play.
Visual improvements so card art isn’t obscured.
Instructional text colour is now white to help clarity of available information.
Seats shown in game are the only ones in use.
Voice chat should now work!
Current player chooses which base scores first. (use to work, then bugged, now fixed)
Updates to scoring order timing.
This is likely to be the last update before the new year as long as nothing major goes wrong. Thank you to everyone that has stopped by during our Early Acess period so far. For all the negative and positive comments the game has improved dramatically and we intend to keep improving the quality to make it as good as it can possibly be for general release. Have a merry Christmas and a solid new year from all of us here at Nomad Games.
