We received a lot of great feedback and reports on various issues thanks to you all of you and just put out a new version of the demo that should take care of a lot of the issues!

New Demo Content Available!

The Smelter demo has been updated based on player feedback and also features some great new content.
With its initial demo release, Smelter featured only one area and only a small taste of the skills that the player can unlock. However, with this new update to the demo, players can also experience some of the other great content that Smelter has to offer!
Test out the new Eremagu and Nutoro skill sets and their respective domains in this extended demo!
Smelter Japanese Live Stream 日本語生放送がもうすぐ！
Our Japanese live stream is going on in just a couple of minutes so if you're curious about the demo, Ayaka and Yuri will be playing through the Japanese version of the game so please check it out if you have the time!

We're super excited to announce that a demo for Smelter is now available just in time for the Steam Games Festival!
A demo? What's this all about? Why should I play it?
This will be an awesome chance for you to test out Smelter, where you will get to play the first couple of hours of gameplay that will also be in the official release.

Not to mention, it'll be a great way to interact with us, the dev team, and let us know what you loved, liked or even hated so you can help us know how to improve Smelter to become the game that you want to play!
Us devs practically live in a bubble and crave all kinds of feedback, both positive and negative to know what we're doing wrong and what we're doing right.

About the Game
After the destruction of the Garden, Eve finds herself in an unfamiliar world and her beloved Adam is nowhere to be found. On her search for Adam, she encounters Smelter, an unusually over-confident, winged creature with the powerful ability to “Flootipoo” with others, giving them incredible powers.
Offering his apparently “invaluable” assistance, Smelter flootipoos with Eve and they depart on a journey to the treacherous Rumbly Lands to expand Smelter’s territory, allowing them to reach further into the various domains to find out what happened to her Adam, hoping to find him in one piece and find a way back home and to their peaceful lives.
Smelter is a strategy, action-platformer combo inspired by some of the classics from the 16-bit era. Players will find themselves alternating between top-down strategic gameplay, where players help Smelter and his faithful Zirm forces expand Smelter’s territory, build his mighty base and fight his way through various unique quests, and action-packed platforming levels, complete with three unique elemental skill sets needed to adapt to the levels, foes and bosses.
