Since we released the game a year ago, we've been blown away by the love and kindness endemic to the Smile For Me community. We created the epilogue in order to thank you for the positivity you put into the world. By making this fundraiser a massive success, you proved again that the Smile For Me fans are the best fans.
We want to thank you for buying, sharing, and talking about the game; you helped us donate tons of money to some great organizations. You make us smile.
Keep on spreading love, and stay safe!
Sincerely LimboLane
ANNIVERSARY CHARITY SALE!
Dear Habiticians, of past present and future...
Smile For Me was released one year ago today. Today, we released the long-anticipated epilogue, in the form of an interactive webpage.
Smile For Today features brand new dialogue from all the Habiticians, and new music by Lucas Saur and EZIA.
We hope that you can use art to care for yourself and others. But we also ask that you do not turn a blind eye on the injustice and brutality that are inescapable for so many.
We believe strongly that grassroots organizing is the most effective way to combat the deep hurt imposed on black and poc communities.
Let’s make this world better.
As a note: Steam takes a 30% cut of game sales. If you get your steam key from itchio instead, every single cent will go to grassroots organizations.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for a year of kindness and community. You make us smile.
Sincerely, LimboLane
