Hello, guys!

Today we've uploaded a final patch for our game that fully fix all the bugs. For that we would like to thank a users Real & Rips13 for finding a bug related with achievements, localization, apple & snake movement and restarting the level. Let's get down to it!

Patch 1.3.1-1.3.4 Changelog:


+ Added: Brazilian Portuguese localization
+ Added: x64 builds for all platforms (Windows, Mac & Linux)
- Fixed: Fixed critical issue caused by game loading with German, French & Spanish localizations
- Fixed: "Cold Snak" achievment event
- Fixed: Apple & snakes movement issues
- Fixed: Level restarting issue
- Fixed: Critical issue that didn't allow to beat the 9th level in summer pack
* Separated 32bit & 64bit launchers to different depots
* 64bit systems are now always use 64bit launcher

Coop/Multiplayer modes current state





And finaly.

We already have a game build with coop/multiplayer modes, but we are not sure that turn-based mechanics that we currenlty have and releazation will be fun to play in. The gameplay is very slow and you need to plan every move with your friend by using skype/discord or other chat.

We also learned that the game need in more unic mechanics and puzzle elements... And currenlty we cannot add more of them since it will take a lot of time and we cannot be sure that the gameplay will be fun after adding of them.

But we need to ask you to know your opinion about this. The gameplay video & article will be posted soon.

Hello, guys & girls!

We have a spooky update for you. No, it isn't a horror update for the game, but it changes a lot visual aspects of the game. We added a lot of new assets such Halloween-thematic sountrack, pumpkins, graves and candles, HAAAATS, new apple skins, etc. We would like to celebrate this event with you that's why we prepared and released this update while we're working on next two huge updates.

If you following us on Twitter or Facebook, you probably know that we working on two huge updates. One of them will be released soon after the end of the Halloween event. And another one will be released close to the Christmas event.

More about next two updates



Those two huge updates will add a lot of new levels, new puzzles and new gamplay elements. We're talking about coop/multiplayer mode that will allow you to play with your friends and solve the puzzles together. Before the coop update release we will release preparation addon that will include rotten, freezing and flaming apples, buttons, moving tiles, new complex levels that will strongly use new gameplay elements and bosses!

We know that the game is almost two years old. We spent a lot of time to make the game concept of our small dev team real. We still update and support it because we love our game and like to add new fun gameplay elements that could make game better. We hope that you love our game too and glad to see thos changes.

We would let you know that we still glad to know your ideas and your visions about the future of the game. If you want to suggest something or report about the bugs, you could easyly use the forums in our community section.

Partial Controller Support (Public Beta)

Few weeks ago we've started to integrate controller support for SnakEscape game. And today we're ready to announce that full controller support coming in this December!

We know that gamers sometimes use controllers since this's more comfortable to play some games. And we want to make SnakEscape available to play with KEYBOARD or MOUSE or GAMEPAD or TOUCHSCREEN. That's why we launch new update wich will allow you to test the game on your controller. Of course it has some critical issues at this time and you can help us to find them and make gaming on your gamepad more comfortable!

The Return of The Snake [Major Update]

Dear friends!

Today we've released the second major update for our cute game. Meet the "Snake mode"! This new game mode is a re-make of the original "Snake" game with some crazy gameplay elements from the original SnakEscape gamemode.



You will take control over the Snake in order to collect the stars. With each star collected Snake will be faster and harder to control. Random Apples will appear on the levels, collecting stars and running away.



The global leaderboard will allow you to compete against your friends and other players as well!



The deep meaning of the current update is: why do snakes eat apples!

Major changes:

  • New gamemode added!
  • Added 5 official levels for the Snake Mode.
  • Added global leaderboards for official Snake Mode levels: be the best snake!
  • Added Snake death animation.
  • Added 3 new skins for Apples in Snake Mode.
  • Added a new tile for Snake Mode and multiplayer - a bear trap. Has a 50% chance to trap the player if stepped on it by Apple of Snake.
  • Added new Snake movement animation. Just look at that cute tail wiggling!
  • Added changing of the day cycle for fall, winter and spring levels.
  • Added the updated Apple model: Mr. Apple is now even more perfect than a teapot from 3Ds Max!
  • Game rules update: Snakes are moving faster if they've eaten a star.
  • Level editor update: you can now place more than 3 stars on a level.
  • Workshop update: each level with at least one Snake on it is automatically allowed to be played in Snake Mode.
  • Tweaked Apple's movement speed in the Singleplayer gamemode.

Future Plans



Dear friends!

Today we would like to introduce you our next major update that we call "Snake Mode Update". Update will bring new game mode to all game owners for FREE!

Sounds awesome, isn't it?

So, what about this update will be?


This'll add new game mode where you can play for the Snake, collect the stars and don't let the apples to stole the stars from level. Each collected star will increase the Snake movement speed and each evacuated apple will be decrease lives of the Snake.

Since this game mode will be infinite, the global leaderboard will record your progress and will allow you to compete with other players worldwide.

When "Snake" update will be released?


Right after the Steam Summer Sale. So you have great chance to save 50% on the game now.

What about the Co-op game mode?


We would to add, that this major update is preparation for the Co-op update, that we plan to release at this autumn. So we making a lot of changes in code and some gameplay basics and mechanics that will be useful in cooperative mode.







Do you plan to make any other major updates after?


After "Snake" & "Co-op" updates we plan to continue make minor updates for the game and add full controller support later this year. Also we're continue our work with community that suggest improvements by e-mails & social pages.

SnakEscape 1.1.2 Changelog



Dear friends!

We are continuing our support of the game and add features suggested by You previously. We would like to thank a user that goes under the nickname markakeen for suggesting mouse control improvements. As so it happened we also have integrated a minor fix that aims on updating the main menu for better experience for newcomers!

Patch 1.1.2 Changelog:


* Workshop section moved to "Play" section from "Extra" and renamed into "User-made" game mode.
* In case of missing localisation entries a standart (english) localisation text entry will be placed instead.
* Font of "Play" and "Extra" buttons made smaller.
* Improved ingame tutorial (Summer level 1, 2 & 4). We also plan to make more tutorial improvements in future game updates.
* Changed RMB behavior. Now it opens "Pause menu" and allow to play at game only with mouse!
+ Added additional icons for "Extra" menu.
+ Added new "More levels" button for Workshop section which will allow you to browse the Workshop without entering the overlay.
+ Added graphics settings in the Options menu.
