Update 1.18 Available Now
Hi everyone,

Update 1.18 is now available to download. Please take a look at the notes below to see the fixes and improvements that were part of Update 1.18.

Game Update 1.18



Snooker 19 game patch that will improve the quality and stability of your experience with Snooker 19 in all modes.


  • Game optimisation - faster loading times for all matches in all game modes.
  • Online Tournaments - changes to ranking and scoring if a match ends prematurely, to protect the integrity of the leaderboards and online competitive play.
  • Online Tournaments - updated WST tournament calendar.
  • AI improvements - AI opponents now decide on their next shot more quickly to provide a more immersive and seamless experience.
  • Friend Codes - Friend Codes are no longer hidden after returning to the Main Menu if matchmaking fails in Custom Match.
  • Challenge Mode camera - bug fix for camera movement when aiming in first person.
  • Various stability improvements - including for hangs and freezes.
  • Various bug fixes and improvements - including timeout fouls, referee VO, and new animation transitions.

Server Work and Updates 1.17 and 1.18
Hi everybody,

Hope you're keeping well. We have news to share on upcoming server work and game patches coming to Snooker 19 on Steam and all other platforms.

There is server maintenance planned for the next two days and also two upcoming game updates. We have shared some details below and will keep you posted to confirm when updates go live.

Server Updates 02/09 - 04/09
* Snooker 19 is moving to new servers during this window.
* This may involve downtime.

Game Update 1.17
* Lab42 server security patch, required for the smooth operation of all online servers and modes for Snooker 19 on all platforms.
* Release status: Expected release on PS4 and Steam at 12noon BST on September 2nd. Expected release on XB1 and Nintendo Switch is 12noon BST September 3rd.

Game Update 1.18
* Snooker 19 game patch that will improve the quality and stability of your experience with Snooker 19 in all modes.
* Release status: Currently in early testing cycles, so ETA for release is later this month for all platforms.

In more detail, here's a summary of what you can expect from patch 1.18:

* Game optimisation - faster loading times for all matches in all game modes.
* Online Tournaments - changes to ranking and scoring if a match ends prematurely, to protect the integrity of the leaderboards and online competitive play.
* AI improvements - AI opponents make quicker decisions so that you have a more immersive and seamless experience.
* Various bug fixes and improvements - including fixes for hangs, freezes, timeout fouls, challenge mode camera, referee VO, Friend Codes, and new animation transitions.

Update 1.16 Available Now
Hi everyone,

We hope you are safe and well during this time of uncertainty and we are sending well wishes to all our players across the world.

For those of you playing Snooker 19, we’re happy to share that there’s a new update available for you to download today that makes improvements to online play.

Update 1.16 for Snooker 19 is available now.

Patch notes:

- Online tournament ELO system changes. The base level of points at the start of a tournament will now be set to 750pts instead of 0pts.

- Online tournament rule changes to improve the integrity of online play. A win/loss will now be recorded when a player disconnects once a match is underway, even when the match score is 0-0. The player who disconnects will record a loss.

- Career Mode progress issues addressed

- Cueball default position for break off has been randomised

- "Base to Base" Challenge frame rate improved

- General improvements to online play

We're excited for the holidays and have a brand new tournament to share with you! The Winter Open starts today in Snooker 19 and invites you to head online for a chance to claim the Frostbite reward pack.

The Winter Open runs from 20th December - 3rd January, so make sure you don't miss out!

Snooker 19 Challenge Pack DLC Available Now
Hi everyone,

We're excited to share that the Snooker 19 Challange Pack DLC is now available.

This DLC pack invites you to take your best shot and become a better player in a brand new game mode for Snooker 19, adding hours of additional gameplay opportunities. We have created 50 unique challenges to test and improve your skills across positioning, break building, escapes, trick-shot potting puzzles and more, and we can't wait for you to try them out.



Challenges are split across two classes; Basic Skills and Advanced Skills, and can be played using a selection of different Aiming Aid difficulties to cater for varying levels of player ability. Master every event and complete all challenge requirements to unlock 26 stylish snooker cue rewards and 5 new achievements exclusive to the Challenge Pack.



It's great to finally be able to share the Challenge Pack with you, and look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Scottish Open - Online Tournament Now Live


The Scottish Open online tournament is now live in Snooker 19! Head online and take your best shot for a chance to claim the Highlander reward pack at the end of the tournament.

The Scottish Open runs from 9th - 15th December, so make sure you don't miss out!

UK Championship Online Tournament - Now Open


The first Triple Crown event of the 2019/20 World Snooker tour has arrived! Get ready to play in the UK Championships alongside some of the greatest snooker players of all time.

Take part in the online tournament in Snooker 19 from the 22nd November - 8th December for a chance to unlock the exclusive new reward pack; The Union.
