Soccer Legends is back to the drawing board, existing players can request a refund
On May 3rd we (SOEDESCO) reached an agreement with Digital Lightning on the sale of the IP of Soccer Legends. In that announcement we promised a new update within three weeks so here we are with a new update.
In the previous update we mentioned that we see big potential in Soccer Legends but that we were still exploring our next step now that we are in control of the project. We’ve play tested the game internally numerous times, including a closed session with gamers from outside the company.
What we saw, and what our testers reported was short and conclusive. The game concept is interesting and the visual style is also appealing. However, the game did not perform to our standards and as such we don’t think it publishable in its current form.
In short, we are now thinking about where we want to take the concept of Soccer Legends but it might take quite a while before we reach a point where we feel confident that we can publish the game. Furthermore, the game we might end up releasing may not resemble the original product that gamers got on board with during the Early Access.
We recognize that we need to take the project back to the drawing table and for that reason we would like to offer a full refund to everyone who owns the game. Details are still being finalised, we'll give a heads up as soon people can start refunding. This Steam page will remain online since we feel that this is a good place to get in touch with the community and it will allow the current owners to stay up to date on the future of Soccer Legends.

Assuming Direct Control: SOEDESCO Acquires Soccer Legends
The IP of Soccer Legends is acquired by SOEDESCO. The first steps will be to explore the possibilities for the game.
On May 3rd we’ve (SOEDESCO) reached an agreement with Digital Lightning on the sale of the IP of Soccer Legends.
“We see big potential in and believe in Soccer Legends”, says Executive Manager Hans van Brakel about the acquisition. “Soccer Legends is quite unique and we are now exploring what possible new paths we can strike with Soccer Legends.”
A definitive schedule and plan for Soccer Legends is not yet known as some general analysis and evaluation of the title will have priority now. “This acquisition will open up new perspectives for SOEDESCO and the IP of Soccer Legends”, says van Brakel. “At the moment we are exploring all possible directions we might take with the brand. We will use the coming time to figure out in which way we can integrate Soccer Legends in the SOEDESCO portfolio.”
We first announced our collaboration with Digital Lightning Studios in April 2015 , the Early Access of Soccer Legends started in August 2015. In early 2016 negotiations about the acquisition of the IP of Soccer Legends led to a successful conclusion.
This acquisition gives us more control over Soccer Legends and within three weeks’ time a new update will appear here with more info for existing owners.

Soccer Legends Everyone is hard at work to make sure the game is in tip-top shape before launch. At the moment progress is continuing apace. The game is mostly feature complete so at the time the focus is on polish, system check and making sure the balance is taken care of.

NANOS On the brick-breaking front, NANOS is inching closer to a full release. Expect a date for that in the near future. On the event note, NANOS proved very popular at the FirstLook Festival in Utrecht.
But there is also other exciting news, NANOS will soon be receiving trading cards. At the moment the plan is to add 9 trading cards. These will be added in the release version.
Defunct The guys at Freshly Squeezed are putting the finishing touches on the game and getting the game nice and polished. After having played the latest build for some time, We can confidently state the vision of the original concept has been fulfilled quite masterfully by this ex-student dev team.

N.E.R.O N.E.R.O.: Nothing Ever Remains Obscure will be launched on PC and PS4.
Nothing Ever has to Remain Obscure, for that reason Storm in a Teacup has decided to give something extra to the players with the upcoming relaunch of the game on PC and PS4 in collaboration with SOEDESCO. From the start of the project, a lot of players were intrigued by the singular name so Storm in a Teacup has decided to open up about the title of the game, which is already available on Xbox One.
