Lead programmer going rogue here, taking the keyboard at middle of the night...
We saw many of you suffering from bugs that made it into the first release. Even though it's Early Access, that's just not right. We were planning to take it easy on our first weekend after crunch, instead we pushed a patch through.
Things that made it into this build:
Added: dynamic controller assignment; pick controllers before the match
Added: support for Logitech F310 & F710 series of controllers
Added: Clarification for game saving when playing the Boss Mode
Fixed: controller working in menus but not in-game
Fixed: buttons on PS3/PS4 DualShock controllers (circle/square reversed)
Fixed: hotfix for high refresh rate monitors; anything over 60fps had huge slowdown - if still having issues, change to 60 Hz or wait for next updates
Fixed: AI will no longer try to pass to its goal keeper, as this had some horrendous/hilarious results, sorry if you'll miss it for the comical value
Fixed: sound effect volume setting in the in-game options now works
Fixed: bunch of UI, language and messaging issues
So, there you go. Some are going to remain broken, but fixing everything at once would mean we'd have to delay the update - and I know some of you were looking forward to this weekend. Keyboard control, Goalie and AI updates are high on our priority list. Maybe the CM will murder me tomorrow for stepping on his territory, but you guys will defend me. Right?

Sociable Soccer has gone live and into pre-season!
We're glad to announce that we are out on Steam. After almost two years of hard work with a small team we get to share this with you. Our football game - a game made to give you the best of football in 3 min. Fun, fast, arcade football has come the fans way.
There's not going to be any BS:ing around here. We know that there are going to be issues, both technical unforeseen ones because of different machines and devices and bugs in the game, so let's tick them off - together. Every lost customer is a sadness, but this is early access.
We aim to make this Sociable - Together
Our team is already aware of the following problems:
- Own goals (+ general suckiness of the AI)
- Performance problems (try to default to lower quality settings when starting the game if it runs slow)
- Controller problems (controllers working in menus but not in-game, looking at the info and will get back on it in support threads)

Update on the Steam Approval
Hi guys,
We are aiming for late Friday the 20th as the early access release date. We sent in our build on the 13th and it takes 3-5 business days to get approval. Unfortunately we haven't heard anything yet.
The steam clock seams to be acting weird so we set the available date to 2112, which is also a great album by Canadian band Rush.
We'll update you on any progress on social media.

Sociable Soccer delayed until next week
Hi everyone,
We’ve been working non-stop for the last few months getting Sociable Soccer ready for Steam Early Access. Unfortunately we have hit a last minute bump in the road which means that Sociable Soccer will sadly not be released today on Steam.
We can say with confidence, though, that Sociable Soccer will now be coming to Early Access next week. The team is extremely disappointed that you won’t be able to play the game today but feel the wait will be worth it. Please hang in there with us, as we close in on releasing the first chapter of the greatest arcade football action game you’ve ever played.
