Today is SolarGun anniversary and the best gift for us is to create new content for you.



Some days ago, we told you we will upload new content soon and now, here it is!

In Mechanical Boss we are so happy with the path of SolarGun that we thought you would like new levels and improvements. Although we have been very busy developing, we missed creating new brain-teasers and adding more rooms to our factory.

Today, it’s been a year since we launched our first version of SolarGun and we thought that the best tribute to the game and the players would be to release the SolarGun Year Edition. We also want to thank you all for the support during this year.

New features:

  • Completely new levels
  • New level selector design
  • 2 more languages (French and German)
  • Jump improvement (now you can jump immediately after a high fall)
  • Minor bugfixes

You can now enjoy new challenges with our free release of SolarGun Year Edition as well as access this new levels from the new and improved level menu. Or you can embrace the fully experience and play them at the end of the original content of Solar Gun.

At the moment it is available for Windows, but coming soon for Linux and Mac.

Looking ahead, we would like to add some new content but first, we will like to read your comments, suggests and what do you think about the new levels.

Hey all! Today we would like to thank you we reached more than 30,000 players of SolarGun.

We have been reading your comments and keeping in mind what you liked.

For Mechanical Boss team, SolarGun is a very special game and we got really excited because it reached 1720 peak concurrent players.

Therefore, as a show of gratitude, we will upload new content very soon. At the moment, we can’t give you more clues.

Patch 1.1


  • Now users can modify the controls of the game from the options menu.
  • Now when firing to an arm, this one falls avoiding so that they hinder the puzzles.
  • Linux: Fixed an error in which the game was blocked when leaving the menu in windowed mode.
  • Other small fixes.

We are sorry that SolarGun cannot yet be published, we are waiting for Steam 's validation due to a small problem related to "steam cloud" what is already solved but needs steam approval.
