Solstice chronicles: MIA available on Nintendo Switch!
Hi everyone!
For the last year or so, we have been (among other nice things) preparing a Nintendo Switch release of our game Solstice Chronicles: MIA. As the game was made with PC gaming in mind, a lot of optimizations, engine tweaks and a complete UI rework had to be done, but finally our effort comes to fruition.
As of today, the game is available from 15:00 CET (14:00 UTC) in the Nintendo eShop in Europe, and 9:00AM PST (5:00 UTC) in North America
We will be having a Reddit AMA today at 21:00 CET / 20:00 GMT / noon Pacific.
Now this important milestone is finally over, our PC users can expect further updates to Solstice Chronicles MIA, where we intend to implement more performance tweaks, bug fixes and gameplay improvements.

Overhaul Patch is now live
We are proud to announce that the game is receiving a major patch that focuses on polishing up both gameplay and graphics. Check this video for a short demonstration.

Connected single player and survival save games
Tweaked and improved almost every level and boss fight
Improved visuals in every level of the game
Terminator enabled from the start

Removed all skill supplies - skills now use cooldowns so you can focus on using the skills instead of gathering supplies for them!

Replayability - Randomly generated special locations, missions, monsters and events.
Upgrade Your Character - Unlock, equip and level up your favorite marine class.
Be a Leader - Use special leadership commands to guide your teammates to victory.
Dropship - You can use dropship to quickly evacuate to Safezone or transport your teammates to help you in a fight.
It has The Red Solstice in it's core, but plays with mechanics of our second game MIA.

BIG UPDATE - New maps and huge optimization!
Hello everbody,
we've been silent for some time but we've been working constantly!
We are presenting 2 more environments for you to play in survival.
Map - Tharsis Street Battle in one of the first singleplayers maps in survival mode, quite different map layout then on open desert.
Map - Hangar Battle to gather supplies before evacuating with your dropship, with some twists.
Both maps share similar monster spawns, and some monsters will not appear like they do in desert maps.
We also provided you with extra ammunition, by adding a chance for a monster to drop a clip when killed, thus rewarding people who like to be... thorough :)
Optimization
We've made a huge optimization over entire game, we are also working on optimizing the game even further within next update, when this is done we will update our MINIMAL system requirements.

Salamander weapon damage was to big, reduced by 30%

Solstice Chronicles: MIA updated! More languages, less issues
With this update we introduce Chinese and Russian translations.
Also included it this update are following tweaks and fixes:
Second player now has different laser color
Salamander does no longer show non existing clip ammo
Infinite reload problems on low reload times fixed
Players who completed the game can start over on level 4
Added a "revert all" button that reverts all upgrade selections made in armory for a particular mission
Special ammo names properly displayed when picking up the item
Hide gui shortcut moved to CTRL+H
Autoaim will now regenerate slowly over time
KER legs staying alive after monster has been killed issue fixed
SMG character buffs get applied properly
Special ammo stats stack properly
Special ammo meshes displayed properly

Solstice Chronicles MIA second update!
Hello everyone!
With the new version we have implemented an option for coop to be played either with keyboard+mouse and a controller or with two controllers. Option is available through the gameplay options menu. Due to the way controllers are assigned, it is available only when accessing options from the main menu (can't be changed mid game).
We have also added translations for German and French. You can change the language from the gameplay options menu. At this point there might still be some errors in the translations. Please let us know if you find any.
We have also been working on improving a number of ingame skill descriptions.
Minor gameplay fixes also include:
- Ker will not regenerate while underground
- Ker legs will be treated as burrowing units so seismic resonators can properly damage them
- Holer type creatures will no longer enter endless healing in survival

Solstice Chronicles: MIA - Hotfix
During the day two major issues were brought to our attention.
Namely, there were some issues with monster spawns in survival mode, and with gamepad and keyboard and mouse interfering with each other in coop mode.
Both of those issues are now fixed and a new version is online.
We are already working on fixing some additional issues and pushing some more content, so you can expect more updates in the near future.
