A few users have reported issues with the mouse not working properly, seeing 2 cursors, and the Steam overlay not showing up. These are usually solved by changing the graphics options in the setup menu (accessed from the Steam launcher).

The recommended settings are:
Mode: Desktop resolution
Scaling: Stretch to fit screen (preserve aspect ratio)
Filter: Nearest neighbour
