Song Of The Prairie - Kickstarter is now live!

Welcome to witness the construction of Prairie Town!



After months of preparation, Kickstarter finally met the villagers, and the campaign will run for 28 days (June 6th - July 4th).

Recently, we’ve been participating in the Steam New Products Festival.
We received lots of feedback from the player community and made some adjustments to the game accordingly. If the adjustment you were expecting didn’t make it to the list this time, dont't worry because we will continue to optimize the demo patch.

Now, let’s take a look at the bug fixes and changes in this update.

[Interaction and Control]
Optimized:Removed a hint action that cost Stamina and added an SFX icon.

[Gaming Experience]
Optimized:Optimized the hint actions that cost Stamina, deleted a phase action, and added SFX hints.
Optimized:The Stash displays the detailed information and name of the items placed inside.
Optimized:NPCs stop moving to say hello.
Optimized:Items can overlap when moving the Backpack.
Optimized:The Fishing action can be interrupted by actions that cost Stamina.
Optimized:The fruit trees in the orchard don't refresh.

2022 First Announcement: New Content and Optimization Overview

Greetings!

We meet again in the new year.
This time, we brought the content and some new additions (almost 100 items) based on the test feedback from last time.

This game will participate in the Steam Game Festival in February. There will be another content update before the event kicks off. We weclome everyone to tag along in the test.

Now, let’s get back to the game.
It’s time to introduce two new characters.


Wallis is the secretary of this town’s union. Having such affection for this town, she cares about the townsfolks’ life to the extent that people sometimes think she is overthinking.



Tuyaa is a tailor in this town. Her short temper is like a volcano that can easily lose control, but she often regret it after doing something out of impulse. Her favorite color is red.


And then we’ll talk about the update.

[Interaction/Gameplay]
Fixed:The jumping action feels awkward to use.
Fixed:The turning around action feels awkward to use.
Fixed:There needs to be a fast button or control that allows players to sell all their items at the same time.

Fixed:The issue with the bus station in the mountain cannot be fixed.
Fixed:In the Excalibur part, the stone is destroyed prematurely but the scythe Fixed:remains in the air and doesn't fall down.
Fixed:The game gets stuck upon entering a building after interacting with Bor.
Fixed:The game gets stuck when the pop-up window of a character’s thoughts appear.
Fixed:The game progress gets stuck upon selecting “Abby’s Childhood” in the conversation with Abby and players must create a new save file to solve this.

Hart is the mayor of this town. He seems unreliable most of the time as he loves to doze off. He is probably hiding some secrets.



JiYue
She runs a restaurant in this town. Passionate, amiable, and as elegant as an orient beauty, she is the big-sister type of person.



Abby
She is a woodcutter in this town. However, her dream is to become a famous detective. Having a passion for observing the citizens’ daily lives, she doesn't realize such a hobby can easily cause misunderstandings.

This game will support English.

Song of the Prairie has finished building its core frame and a massive amount of content. Of course, we will keep adding more in-game content. For now, let’s take a sneak peek at the existing content!

First developer update of Song of the Prairie.

Welcome to the first developer update of Song of the Prairie.

This time, we will be talking about some of the iterations of the current path.(The screenshot of this test is the Chinese version.)

The main menu of Song of the Prairie made its debut this Tuesday, so we will also be looking at the early version of this main menu.

The character appearance customization system went through an overhaul. Compared to the previously streamlined interface, the new version looks more detailed and exquisite with improved visual arts.

Let’s look at the comparison between the new and old versions of the character customization menu.

Here is our first batch of displayed character designs, which also have a comparison chart for the new and old versions.

From the comparison, we can see that the old character designs look more realistic, which doesn’t quite match the art style of this game. So, we adjusted and optimized the character designs and their related in-game content.

The characters shown here are just a part of the whole roster.




We will be revealing more characters and updating their basic introductions to better present the in-game world.

Soon, we will bring more new in-game content and we will constantly improve Song of the Prairie until it is fully polished.

Patch 1.0 might look different from what you are seeing right now because we will continue to optimize the in-game content and make adjustments based on the feedback submitted by the test participants.
