Sophie's Curse on mobile devices?

It's no secret that I have been working on a mobile version of Sophie's Curse for the last few months and I was hoping to release it next week or so, but I just accidentally released on android right now while doing some tests.

Luckily the game is stable enough and I haven't encountered any bugs yet but this is my first mobile game ever so there might be a few hiding in there.

This mobile version is not exactly the same as the PC version but they are pretty much alike, it's what I originally envision for the game when I started the development, but then I started adding stuff and very quickly the game started using too much RAM to be able to run on mobile, but after a lot of optimization and going back to the initial idea I was able to finally port it, feel free to try it for FREE at Google Play:

The IOS version is now available guys:

If you were planning on buying Sophie's Curse for PC please wait, as I just requested Valve a price change to $1.99! now that there is a FREE mobile version I think that $1.99 is a good price for the PC version (which is more complete), and hopefully that would help me a little bit to fight piracy... because even though Sophie’s Curse was extremely popular on Youtube with thousands of videos and millions of views, the sales weren’t that great  unfortunately there is huge amount of people pirating SC, and I hope that with the new price change they finally turn into buying customers.

Update 3.0 - Steam Achievements + More!

Before fully committing to another project, I wanted to improve Sophie's Curse as much as possible, so today I released update 3.0.

This update includes:

-Steam achievements
-Improved frame rate to 60 FPS(before it was locked to 30)
-Improved graphics a bit (It looks better now)
-Smoother animations
-Optimized the code to run better on most computers
-The player now moves/runs a little bit faster
-And I also fixed the Steam overlay

Steam achievements were one of the most requested feature since SC was released, but to be completely honest with you guys... I had no clue on how to implement them into the game, but after many many tries and many headaches I was finally able to implement them... it was pretty easy actually I wish I figured out sooner xD

Better late than never right? Anyways I hope you guys enjoy this update :)
I did huge changes to my code, and I haven't found any bugs yet but please if you find one, let me know so I can fix it right away. (There might be a few bugs hiding in there)

Note* Since the game is now running at 60 FPS, it might run a little slower on low end PCs... If you encounter any issues like this let me know, perhaps I can add the OPTION to limit the frame rate to 30 FPS again.

Update#3.01
I just fixed a couple things.

Update#275 – Re-cap.

•In update#275 many small bugs were fixed, mostly related with audio.
•If you beat the game now in curse mode you get a bronze lighting device and if you beat it in nightmare mode you get a gold lighting device.
•Some of Sophie’s animations were also improved.
•Difficulty was balanced a bit more, I think its perfect now.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's been 1 month since update#275 was released and I’m proud to announce that not a single bug has been found.

I’m really happy with the positive reviews Sophie’s Curse has received, and it has been an amazing journey, thousands of players are enjoying and getting jumpscared by Sophie worldwide… and its very fun watching your gameplay videos! I want to thank you guys for making this possible and for giving me feedback on how to improve the game. (Feedback is still welcomed; I’m always looking for ideas on how to improve the game)

But I think is time to move forward, but I’m not sure in which direction should I go, I’m not sure if I want to start a new fresh and completely different project or if should I be making a Sophie’s Curse sequel, but not just by myself this time, but rather form a team and make it in the unreal engine with true 3D and VR support, with better story, voice acting, better gameplay and of course a more horrifying experience; there are many things that I wanted to do differently and somehow I feel like the story needs closure and I’m still full of ideas that would make you s*** your pants xD

But I’m not sure if there are enough people interested in seeing a Sophie’s Curse sequel… please let me know what you think in the comments!
