January 14 update: improved rudder and water, possible Oculus fix
- Zeroed wing dihedral angle and increased rudder deflection.
- Water is no longer concrete.
- Removed Oculus SDK from project to avoid interfering with SteamVR's Rift support. Let me know if there are still problems.
January 13 update: new ground targets, new instruments, control fixes
- Fixed Oculus and WMR controller configurations.
- Upgraded to Unity 2018.3.1 and SteamVR v2.2b4.
- Disabled grip lock on throttle.
- Air thins out at higher altitudes.
- Added fuel depot ground targets.
- New rudder bar, compass, and tachometer.
- Uncovered patch on top wing.
- Planes break into more pieces.
Let me know if you encounter issues. I only have a Vive so I rely on feedback for Oculus and WMR support.
January 6 update: Windows Mixed Reality rudder controls
Just a quick Sunday night update to get rudder support working on all the touch devices.
- added Windows Mixed Reality rudder control with the analog stick
- Vive touchpads now operate the rudder without clicking
January 5 update: more opponents, more terrain, and improved controls
- Added more opponents. Don't rush in without a plan!
- Fixed view recentering (push both blip buttons at the same time).
- Tweaked rudder range and and added smoothing. Control the rudder with the Vive touchpad or Oculus joystick.
January 4 update: new map and improved controls
Thanks for the feedback from everyone who's played the game so far! This update includes revised controls:
Grab (hold, or click to toggle):
Grip button (Vive, Oculus, and WMR)
Fire (when holding yoke):
Trigger (Vive, Oculus, and WMR)
Blip (when holding yoke):
Application menu button (Vive),
B button (Oculus),
Trackpad click (WMR)
Press the blip buttons on both controllers simultaneously to recenter the view.
If you crash your plane, pull the yellow ejection handle in front of the pilot's seat straight up to restart the level.
