Soul Scathe Update 1.21: Higher Difficulty and fixes
Added:
You can now view your level and gold amount on your waist belt.
Changed:
Spellcasting throwing has been adjusted so that the angle of a thrown spell is slightly higher to make it more accurate.
Reduced the amount of gold received from coin bags by 40% to counteract the increased rate of their spawns.
You can no longer deal damage to golems while they are in the middle of constructing themselves after being aggroed. You can still deal damage during construction when they revive.
There is now a 10 second cooldown between decapitations via the Dismantler and 3rd tier strength passive bonuses.
The Focused Spellblade energize ability now has a 5 second cooldown and the proc chance has increased from 5% to 7%.
Enemies now have slightly more health scaling applied when you level up.
Damage from all enemies except golems has been increased a little bit.
Damage from Fire Skeletons has been increased a little bit.
Damage from all enemies is increased by 5% for every Dungeon Soul you have up to a maximum of 20%, making each new dungeon run more challenging.
The Circuit Renewal Healing Spell can now only work during combat.
Hovering a potion over a belt slot will now cause the controller to vibrate giving a better indication that you can safely release.
Fixed:
It's no longer possible for the game to get into a stuck state where sometimes frozen enemies that became shattered would still be considered part of the active enemy count.
The health bar of golems that succesfully revive now correctly shows full health upon reviving.
Knights now ragdoll upon death and collide properly with the environment.

Soul Scathe Update 1.20: New Content! Corrupted Vessels
New Content Feature!
Added Corrupted Vessels. These can be found wandering the dungeon on certain floors once all enemies are defeated for that floor. These are invisible creatures that start to materalize and become visible when you get close to them. In order to properly search for them, you need to rely on your sense of hearing by listening to the 3D spatialized sound emanating from them. You will have 60 seconds to catch these moving Corrupted Vessels before they disappear.
When captured, each Vessel will have a positive and negative effect displayed next to it, denoting what will happen if you consume it. The effects will only last for the remainder of the dungeon, and act as a double-edged sword mechanic where you gain something and lose something in return.
Now that there is more content for the game, I will be fixing some more issues and tweaking balance over the next few days.
Please let me know your thoughts on the Corrupted Vessel mechanic and if it's too easy/challenging to chase after.

Soul Scathe Update 1.10: New Content! The Soul Transistor Crystal
Added:
New Content Feature! Added Red and Blue Soul Transistor Crystals. You have a random chance upon opening a dungeon door to enter the Soul Transistor room with one of these crystals inside. You can choose to destroy or leave the crystals. Destroying a Blue crystal will reward you with several captured souls as Legendary spell currency and lengthen the dungeon. Destroying a Red crystal will reward you with 3 extra stat points, however these are lost if you are unable to complete the dungeon, and for added risk you also lose a level if above level 1.
Added a tutorial for potions and potion slots at the beginning of the game.
Changed:
Spellcasting now gives you more vertical control.
Mana Regeneration has been slightly decreased.
Circuit Renewal now has more visual guidance to help the player know how to cast it.
Fixed:
The Basic Broadsword now correctly appears in the Mistchamber hub weapon shop.
Soul Scathe Update 1.05
Added:
Created a visual to accompany the eerie mimic awareness sound denoting when a mimic is found in a dungeon floor.
Added text onto the dungeon entrance in the hub that shows the number of floors the next dungeon run will have.
Changed:
Selecting spells for the tutorials is now more clear with more detailed information.
The highlighted brick in the climbing tutorial is now more easily recognizable as a climbing point and not a missing puzzle.
Fixed:
Mana Regeneration no longer slows down over a period of playtime.
Input for Vive Cosmos Controllers now works correctly.
Added some haptics for spells in places where it was previously missing.
You can no longer switch spells while holding a dualcasted Frost Spear or Frozen Mine in that hand.
You can no pick up weapons/items while holding a dualcasted Frost Spear or Frozen Mine in that hand.
Soul Scathe Update 1.04: Various Fixes, Balance Changes, QoL additions.
Added:
You can now see whether a weapon is equipped on your left/right shoulder by looking below at new icons next to your health bar.
Added an error sound effect when trying to holster a weapon to a shoulder that already has a weapon holstered.
An error sound effect now plays when trying to cast a spell without enough mana.
Changed:
A full dungeon run now consists of 5 floors in total, down from 7. Every dungeon completed increases the length by an additional floor up to a maximum of 8 floors.
The mimic breathing sound is now even easier to hear than before.
Mana now regenerates while casting or charging spells, and enemy spell resistance is now higher to compensate.
Golems now take slightly more damage from melee weapons.
Dual wielding damage and enemy stamina depletion is now lowered.
Slightly reduced the cooldown between teleporting.
The shop UI has been cleaned up a bit.
The buy button next to bought weapons now have a green highlight to show they have been bought.
Improved the visuals of weapons.
Money bags are now a little easier to spot due to a highlight visual.
Anti-waggling is now less aggressive which will result in seeing less occurances of 1-3 damage.
Fixed:
The spellwheel no longer has a reversed direction at times making it more accurate to quickly switch spells.
The player's gold is now updated correctly on currently open shop screens.
The Basic Broadsword will now be hidden if you enter Mistchamber with the sword already equipped.
Dropping your sword in the tutorial will cause it to become actually equipped to you in the next tutorial area.
Frozen enemies can no longer be instantly shattered at full HP. The threshold is now 40% HP or lower.
Soul Scathe Update 1.035
Fixed:
Drinking potions is now more reliable.
You can no longer cast spells while holding a potion in the same hand.
Telekinesis will now interact with objects with the trigger held rather than requiring a trigger press.
Telekinesis is more reliable on interacting with all objects with an additional layer of reliability on chandeliers.
Dualcasts which use the crossguard stance for activation are now more reliable to cast due to a new detection system.
Soul Scathe Update 1.03
Changed:
Enemy footsteps are now properly spatialized in 3D, making them more directional and much quieter at distances.
It now takes an additional tick to freeze an enemy with Frostglaze.
Golems frozen by ice magic now break out faster.
Dropping weapons in a dungeon will now automatically equip them if entering the next room.
There is a higher chance for items in chests and randomly placed items in dungeons to be money bags rather than potions.
Fixed:
Golems no longer collide repeatably with spike grate traps.
Fixed an occlusion culling issue in the training area.
Traps that can be affected by telekinesis can now only be performed once and only if the player has not sprung the trap.
Items can no longer duplicate by returning to the menu from the Mistchamber hub.
The quit to menu button is now more responsive.
Mimics now have a slightly longer attack reach.
Chests now less aggressively push back the player when colliding.

Soul Scathe Update 1.02
Added:
You now have infinite mana in the training room for practicing against training dummies.
An eerie creature sound now plays if you enter a dungeon floor with at least one mimic chest.
The Level-Up effect/sound is now improved with better visuals and a more appreciable sound.
Changed:
A full dungeon run now has 7 floors in total, down from 10.
Golems now have slightly less health.
The mimic breathing sound when idle is now easier to hear.
Fixed:
All sound has been reduced in volume by half due to being too loud before.
Music now properly retains it's volume setting in the options menu when going into dungeons or any other area.
The special battle music for golem encounters cannot be overriden by the standard battle music when aggroing other enemies anymore.
The reliability of grabbing climbing points has improved.
You can no longer fall while aggressively climbing if two hands are on the ledges.
You can no longer clip through the bookshelf in the Mistchamber training area.
It's no longer possible for items/chests you have interacted with to respawn if you fall to your death taking you back into the same dungeon floor.
You can no longer pick up weapons with an active spell cast in your hand.
Fusion Dualcasts are now performed even when they overlap upon casting.
Level 1 is now displayed in the stats menu in instances where Level 0 was shown.
Pressing the spacebar no longer brings up a debug menu in your face.
There will be another update in the next 24 hours to focus on some melee/magic issues, among other things.

Soul Scathe Update 1.01: Fixes for Vive Crouching and Index Grabbing
Just a quick update. More will be coming later today.
Fixed:
- Vive users sometimes crouching while moving - crouching is now a double tap.
- Index users randomly dropping weapons - you now grab/drop exactly as expected for the controller.

Soul Scathe is now available to purchase
Today, Soul Scathe finally launches in Early Access. It's been a long road and I hope you can enjoy what I've created. I set out to create a dark fantasy dungeon crawler experience that I wanted to play in VR, and I've had a great time making it.
