Update #1.2 Announcement

Changelog



The default matchmaking mode has been changed from Team to Solo.
In a Solo match, nobody has teammates, increasing your chances of winning if you are good enough!

New items:



Primary weapon: Whip Sword
Players can find a Whip Sword from the fourth Treasure Hunter's chest. The Whip Sword is a T3 weapon whose basic attack is in sword form, and whose combat skill is in whip form.



Secondary weapon: Poison Gas Bottle
Press and hold the secondary weapon button to determine the throwing distance and release to throw. After the Poison Gas Bottle has landed, it will create a wide cloud of poison gas and enemies caught inside its area of effect will suffer damage over time. The Airblast spell can dispel poison gas clouds. Players can find a Poison Gas Bottle from the second Treasure Hunter's chest.



Locked skin color variants can now be unlocked permanently with Dragonglass.



We have a brand-new shop interface.



Cosmetics.



Changed the Male’s default face.



Added Mid-Autumn Festival cosmetics






Updated the Card Pack galleries, removed the Brave rarity Flamescheer, and added three new Brave weapon cosmetics.

Balance Improvements




  • Fixed an issue where the Gauntlets, Longsword, Twinblades, Twin Axes, and other weapons lacked one chain hit during a combo.
  • In previous versions, enemies could roll and escape after only 2 attacks from a Rapier, but it was intended to have a 3-hit-combo. Most weapons suffered this issue. This fix will improve several weapon’s attacking capabilities.
  • Weakened the Dagger: Decreased the lunge distance of the first attack of the Dagger’s combat skill, increased its back swing length, and increased the knockback distance of its basic attack and combat skill.
  • Weakened the Blunderbuss: The upgraded version of the Blunderbuss no longer has the knockdown effect.
  • Improved the Spear: Shortened the fore swing time of its combat skill.
  • Improved the Club: Shortened the back swing animation time of its combat skill.
  • Changed the Reaper Rune: Changed from dealing extra damage to enemies with low health to dealing additional damage to enemies without armor.
  • Changed the Soul Devourer Rune: After expelling enemies, restore health or armor over time.
  • Increased the duration of Dark Essence’s “Pain” debuff.
  • Increased the duration of Red Essence’s “Tear” debuff and the distance required to deduct health.
  • Reduced the slowing effects of Ice Essence, Slow Rune, and Fukiya.
  • Changed the Drought Rune: Improved MP reduction and reduced the additional damage.


Others




  • If a player dies, then their observers will automatically switch views after 3 seconds to the player who had killed them.
  • Items in an enemy’s backpack are now properly sorted when looting them. Previously, enemy backpacks were a little cluttered.
  • The area of the last safety zone has increased by one screen.

#1.13 Update Preview

Hello players! The#1.13 Update will be online at 7:00 pm on Aug 26 PDT. The server may be down for half an hour around the update period.



New features

·Invitation code:
The invitation code is added! Now the players can use it to invite friends and get the rewards.

Players can find the invitation code on their career.

·The August season cosmetic reward will be granted for the players who have reached Gold ranking.

Gameplay Adjustments
·Increased the size of the Knuckledusters.
·Increased range of shortbow.
·Fixed the issue where there is no red dot in the stealth state, extended the CD of the “Stealth” slightly, and reduced its duration of the player under the Stealth state.
·Slightly strengthened the attack moving distance of all the actions of the Nodachi, impressively enhanced the displacement of the last segment of the Nodachi.
·Slightly strengthened the moving distance and damage of the Spear’s special skill.
·Slightly strengthened the moving distance of the Club’s special skill
·Strengthened the special skill level of the Mace, and modified the moving distance(the first stage moving distance is shorter and the second moving is longer)

Gameplay adjustments
 
1. Removed the [Ghost Attack] event since it caused some in-game bugs.
2. Increase Pyrodance's hyper-armor level. Now it cant be interrupted by the heavy attacks of most weapons.
3. Removed the red dot on the map given to players who are using an oil lamp. Now when players are holding the oil lamp, they won't be visible to other players by looking at the map.
 
 
Bug Fixes
 

1. Fixed a series of observer system issues such as the observers can't distinguish teammates from enemies, a camera movement error, and stealth players being invisible to observers.
2. Fixed an issue where additional ranking points were awarded incorrectly under certain conditions.
3. Fixed an issue where the players's attacks would miss.
4. Fixed an issue where the ping value of the servers occasionally displayed incorrectly.
 
Other Improvements
 
1. At the end of the match, the top three teams will be awarded ranking points. The team in first place will earn 3 points, the team in second place will earn 2 points, and the team in third place will earn 1 point.
2. Players may now press [N] while spectating to see the eliminated player's position on the map.

#1.1 Update – Patch Notes Now Live


Hi everyone!
Patch update #1.1 is here, and it is packed full of new features, balance and gameplay adjustments, and fixes! An observer module has been added into the game which will allow for tournaments in the future, and a free version will be included with this update that we trust will bring many more players to the dungeon.

Added Observer feature



1. In custom match, the match owner can set any player as the observers. The observers’ names will be displayed on the right side of the screen.


2. The observer can see every player team number, player name, and player HP and armor on the full map. Double-clicking will allow the observer to switch between viewed players.



3. We have made big improvements in the player’s spectate experience.
Note: Players can check the spectated player’s equipment by pressing [ Tab ].

4. Added in-game ranking list, which can be checked by pressing [ B ].



Balance Improvments



1. Reduced the projectile speed and increased the cooldowns of most long-range attacks, especially the Fukiya.
2. Attacks made with a main weapon can no longer be interrupted by the Fukiya, Shortbow, Longbow, Light Crossbow, Repeater Crossbow, Hook, or Fireball.
3. The damage of Harquebus and Hurricane Smash have been significantly decreased. The efficiency and power of these group injury + knockdown skills in group battles were much too high.
4. The first few attack stages of the Shortbow and the Longbow were weakened.
5. Increased the lunge distance of the Pike’s and the Great Sword’s heavy attack. Optimized the attack curve of the first heavy attack of the Poleaxe to make it hit enemies from further away.
6. Twin Axes have been lowered in tier from 3 stars to 2 stars.
7. Reduced the drop rate of Twinblades, and increased the drop rates of Iron Skin, Great Hammer, Great Scythe, Pike, and Great Sword.
8. Increased the rolling speed of all weapons. Reduced the rolling distance penalty while holding heavy weapons, increasing the survival odds of heavy weapon wielders after being knocked down by others.
9. The third stage of Pyrodance will move the caster through teammates, which will enhance its role in team combat.
10. Slightly reduced the Drenched and Burn debuffs. Significantly decreased the duration of the Gust buff.
11. Reduced the duration of Escapology, and the player can no longer cancel the spell effect prematurely. Reduced the movement speed increase gained from enhancing Escapology with Doppelganger Skin.
12. Taunting action can now be canceled by rolling.
13. Reduced the difficulty of performing a parry with the blunderbuss.

Developer notes: The main direction of these balance changes is to weaken long-range attacks. On the one hand, it is guaranteed that some long-range attacks can be more easily evaded (especially the Fukiya). On the other hand, it reduces the effect of long-range weapons and spells in team fights. In the previous team fights, there were too many long-range attack interruptions, making it difficult for players to perform melee attacks. Additionally, the damage output of long-range attacks was too high.


Match pacing



1. Increased the time required to clear the Dreamland Gate.
2. Increased the maximum range of the safe zone surrounding the Dreamland Gate and decreased the rate in which the progress meter empties when the team leaves the safe zone, or it becomes contested.
3. Significantly increased the Mist damage during the final stage.

Developer notes: Players can't hide in the Mist and rely on healing items as a stall tactic anymore. With the increased Mist damage, it's much more difficult for players to win the game without competing with other players.


Bug Fixes



1. Fixed an issue where the zone events did not occur.
2. Fixed an issue where enemy players’ voices could still be heard even when the sound setting was toggled to Team Only.
3. Fixed an issue that prevented backstabbing an enemy who recently recovered from a knockdown.
4. Fixed an issue where the Hook could hit additional enemies on its return.
5. Fixed an issue where the male character using a Great Stick’s heavy attack would have a shortened hyper-armor duration.
6. Fixed an issue of attacks sometimes missing with some weapons.
7. Fixed an issue where players could be bounced in the air when they were attacked by Airblast, Hurricane Smash, and some weapons.
8. Fixed an issue where Hurricane Smash collision distance could be too short, causing it to stop suddenly in front of an enemy.
9. Fixed an issue where the Katana’s hits may not have registered if certain skins were equipped.
10. Fixed an issue where players may not return at full of health when reviving in the beginner tutorial.
11. Fixed an issue that could cause a team invitation to appear when opening card packs.


Ranking point rule changes



1. Ranking points will not increase or decrease after you play in a Custom Match.
2. Previously, killing an enemy who was more than 1,000 points lower than the player resulted in no points being awarded. We have removed this rule so that every enemy you kill will now earn you points.
3. After reaching Gold rank, AI opponents you kill will no longer award points.
4. The number of kills will now also account for enemies you’ve knocked down and who either chose to release, were finished off by other players, or who were knocked down by you and in a downed state when their last teammate died.


UI improvement



1. You can now view other pages while you are queued.
2. The tutorial can now be skipped.
3. The current server and network speed can now be seen on the main menu.


Free version



Alongside the 1.1 update, we are releasing a free version for players to try. The differences between the free version and the full version are that in the free version players cannot use their gold to purchase card packs or skins from the gold store, and free version players can earn points but cannot be ranked. Player data from the free version carries over to the full version; after purchasing the full version, all the items obtained in the free version will be retained, and the player will become ranked with their position on the leaderboard to qualify for end-of-season rewards.

New Update Announcement & Ranking Reward

Hello Players!

After the 1.1 version is online, the ranking points will be reset and the new ranking calculation rules will be applied. After the player reaches the Gold rank, he can only rely on expelling real players to earn rank points.

After the ranking point is reset, the Dragonglasses reward will be awarded to the player who reaches the corresponding rank.
Gold: 1000 Dragonglasses
Platinum: 1500 Dragonglasses
Diamond: 2000 Dragonglasses
Master: 2500 Dragonglasses
Grandmaster: 3000 Dragonglasses

The ranking points will be cleared at the end of each month until the new season system is launched. In August, in addition to Dragonglasses, players who reach the Gold rank will receive an out-of-print ranking skin reward, so stay tuned!
