Soulstice Revealed at E3!

Today Modus Games revealed Soulstice, an upcoming fast-paced action title by Reply Game Studios, at the E3 PC Gamer Show. Packed with exhilarating combat, beautiful graphics, and over-the-top stylish action, players will control dual protagonists Briar and Lute simultaneously as they brawl through the dark fantasy world of Ilden.

https://youtu.be/Q6sfPefshjM

The balance of the Holy Kingdom of Keidas is compromised when powerful, feral creatures known as “Wraiths” invade from the other side of the Veil, threatening to consume the living. Wraiths corrupt their victims and can even possess their bodies, turning into unstoppable monsters that prey upon the common folk. The “Chimeras”, hybrid warriors born of the union of two souls, are the only ones who can protect humankind.

Briar and Lute are two sisters who have been reborn as a Chimera. The transformation has granted Briar superhuman strength and resilience, while Lute, who was sacrificed to bind her soul to her sister’s, has become a spirit with mystical powers.

Players will control both sisters simultaneously, allowing free-flowing hack and slash combos to be performed by alternating between Briar's mastery of melee weapons and Lute's otherworldly abilities. The duo will gradually unlock and upgrade an expanding arsenal of weapons and transformations to fulfill their true potential as a Chimera and reclaim Ilden, a city in ruins that has been ravaged by the Wraiths.

Soulstice will be launching in 2022. Learn more over at the official website and sign-up for the mailing list to access the extended gameplay trailer exclusive to email subscribers.
