Space Station Continuum

Our Pledges (And Our Modules) Are Expanding!

What's that? Another update already?! That's right!

The final week Kickstarter ramp-up is now in full swing, with three funding milestones achieved in the past 72 hours!

As promised, you can now find an early version of the Expandable Habitation Module (small) in the Demo.

It's a cheap, lightweight option for expanding the interior space of your station - provided you don't mind the lack of external mounting points.

The next funding milestone comes at 70%, and will include another fantastic original music track by Michael Clark - Saturn Shuffle. This one's a real funky number, so get those jazz flutes ready!

If you're enjoying the demo but haven't backed the Kickstarter campaign yet, please consider joining in to help get Space Station Continuum the funding it needs. You could grab yourself some excellent rewards as well!

As always, be sure to share the game on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, and anywhere else you can think of to help spread the word.

See you in the next update!

Two Milestones in Two Days!

Hello again,

It feels like only yesterday that we last spoke, but today we crossed the 50% funding milestone!

We're now 52% funded thanks to 205 out-of-this-world backers. Thank you to all of our newcomers in the past couple of days - let's keep that momentum going!

Of course this means that the next demo update - The Giant Asteroid Disaster - is now live. Check out the in-game controls menu (or just hit CTRL+A) to watch your masterfully crafted station be smashed into pieces by an uncaring hunk of space rock.

Our next funding milestone is just around the corner at 60%, and will unlock the Expandable Habitation Module (small). Take a look at the ISS BEAM for a good idea of what to expect.

That's right - we've raised funds so quickly that we're already over halfway towards our next milestone. More on that in a minute.

But first, the demo update you've all been waiting for - The Reusable Commercial Crew Vehicle is now in-game!

Demo players will all receive the update automatically. If you haven't tried it yet then now's a great time!

Thanks to our backers' efforts we're already just 4% away from our next funding milestone, which will unlock...

The Giant Asteroid Disaster

30% Funded and New Demo Update!

Greetings, Astronauts!

We've reached our next funding milestone!

Thank you to the 142 Awesome Backers who've raised a total of £3,331/ $4,406 so far.

To celebrate, we've just released the next demo update which brings a brand new original music track: Asteroid Heart. It's a classic 70's psychedelic track which fans of David Bowie will definitely enjoy.

Our next milestone comes at 40%, and will bring an all new state-of-the-art Reusable Commercial Crew Vehicle.

Fans of a certain modern space company may recognise some of the inspiration for this one.

As always, make sure you post, message, tweet, and shout from the rooftops for all of your friends to back the game on Kickstarter and help make Space Station Continuum a reality!

Have a great weekend,

- John

We're 20% funded - so you get a new solar array!

We've just hit 20% of our funding goal in 4 days!

Thank you to the 75 out-of-this-world backers who've gotten us here so far. You rock!

As promised, the new Medium Solar Array is available in the demo right now.

The next milestone comes at 30%, and will unlock a brand new original music track from the 1970's portion of the game - Saturn Heart. Fans of David Bowie will definitely pick up on some of the inspiration that went into this one.

Back the game on Kickstarter now if you can't wait to hear it!

Also, massive thanks to twitter user @JonxFrosT for pointing out a bug in the latest patch that could cause the camera to get stuck after exiting the menu. It's now fixed in the latest version (v0.180706.3).

Enjoy!

Demo v0.180706.1 Patch Notes - Volume slider and new toggle switches

Today's update brings a much-requested feature to the free demo - a volume slider:

You can find it in the Settings panel of the in-game menu. Your preferred volume level will be saved for next time you open the game.

We've also improved the toggle switches by adding a light to better differentiate between the on and off state.

All players should recieve the update via Steam immediately.

Enjoy! And don't forget to back the game on Kickstarter!

New Solar Array!

Good Morning,

Let's start the day with some juicy campaign stats:

  • We're about to enter day 4
  • So far we've raised over $2,300 from 49 awesome backers!
  • Which puts us over half way to the next demo content unlock!

Today I've got a sneak peek at that next unlock - the Medium Solar Array. This type of array was first seen on the Mir Space Station in 1986. They're heavier and more expensive than the Small Solar Array, but you get more bang for your buck with a power output of 15 kW.

Here's a look at the deployment animation after being delivered by a trusty Space Shuttle:

We're over half way to the next unlock milestone at 20%! So tell your friends to back Space Station Continuum on Kickstarter and help us get there soon :)

Fly safe!

John

10% Funded, and a new Spacecraft!

We're less than half way through day two and the kickstarter is already 10% funded!

To celebrate, we're adding a new spacecraft to the demo:

The Disposable Resupply Vehicle

The Disposable Resupply Vehicle is very cheap at $40 Million, but you'd better not use it to send anything home because it burns up on re-entry!

If you've already downloaded the demo you'll receive an update automatically. If you haven't tried it yet then now's a great time!

More new content will be added to the demo for every 10% milestone. So back the game and spread the word to see the rest of what's in store!

Over $1,000 raised on the first day!

The Space Station Continuum Kickstarter has kicked off with a bang - with over $1,000 raised in the first 24 hours.

It's a great start, but we can't do this without you!

If you want to see Space Station Continuum become a reality, make sure you back the game on kickstarter and grab an early backer special before they're gone!
