We've just released a patch that includes various minor improvements, fixes, and adjustments.
It includes:
Updated the hero's phrases during combat.
Replaced the static image with icons representing dungeon types (difficulty levels) in the Best Heroes section.
Small spiders do not burst when there are issues with the hero if the hero stands still without moving.
We are now focusing on developing deeper tiers of the Dungeon. Thank you for your support!
Spark in the Dark / New Demo
Hello everyone!
Since our last update, we've made various improvements to the Dargroth dungeon. We want to share our development progress with you, so we're glad to introduce the Spark in the Dark update (0.014).
Hero's Name
We've added a name for the hero, which is set at the start of the game. The name is used in-game and also displayed in the history of the best heroes. Updated the character selection and dungeon difficulty level screen.
Based on the outcomes of their adventure, a hero can receive a title, such as Master of Secret Paths or Monster Slayer.
Updated and expanded the passage history in the list of the best heroes.
Added a description of skills in the character window.
Combat Improvements
We've added side dodges for the hero and updated the back jump.
Introduced the ability "Counter attack" for the Warrior class. They can deliver a powerful blow after receiving an attack in block.
Improved shield combat and block. Added new hero reactions when receiving a strong attack in block.
Combat sounds have been refined and updated.
Crossbow Enhancements
Added a quiver. Now you can see how many arrows you have left in your inventory.
Hunters and thieves can find the skill book "Shadow Shooter" which grants the skill to shoot with lethal efficiency from a concealed state.
Improved crossbow firing. Broadened the firing angle for hitting enemies above and below.
Updated inventory arrow images.
Creature Population
Now in the dungeon, you can encounter little spiders. They dwell in places where spider eggs are laid. A spider can be easily crushed, but sometimes they are poisonous.
Improved centipede generation. Now they can appear in many different places. Spiders and centipedes can also be found in crevices.
Sometimes you can encounter powerful Undeads – they are bulkier than usual and possess greater strength. Their number depends on the difficulty level of the game.
Some locations and environmental objects have been updated.
Improved activation of the Astral Collider and the statue of the Ancient Warrior.
Added hero's lines in some locations.
Technical improvements:
Most localizations have been updated and supplemented.
Added another level of camera zoom.
Added an option "Disable chromatic aberration" in the game settings.
Minor improvements in gamepad support. The interface now displays correct button names depending on the device.

Halloween update
Hello everyone!
To mark our participation in the Steam Scream: The Revenge festival we are happy to share the new update with you. It includes various fixes & minor improvements which we made for the past month.
Added new set of weapon inspired by nodachi and katana (two-hand sword, one-hand sword, dagger)
Sometimes you can find scolopendra in the holes.
Updated Spanish & some other languages.
Added the "Halloween Horrors" mode, which will be available during the festival Steam Scream (October 26 - November 2).
* The "Grim Tales" series of stories will be added to the game this coming weekend.

We've just released a small yet crucial patch that addresses an issue with in-game interactions that occurred after extended gameplay. It was a stubborn bug that we've been working hard to resolve, and we appreciate your patience!

Spark in the Dark / New Demo
Hello adventurers!
Since the last update, we've made many of various innovations and improvements in the Spark in the Dark dungeon. The time has come to release the updated Spark in the Dark demo (0.013).
Here are the key changes you can expect in this update:
Hero's Journal
Now, the hero can make journal entries during a rest. Journal entries reflect what has happened to the hero. They take into account battles with monsters, injuries received, visits to various locations, finding artifacts, etc. Each playthrough results in a unique journal. Quest elements are highlighted in the journal and are then marked as completed after being fulfilled. The journal will continue to evolve in the future, covering more and more events and situations.
A system for tracking the number of days the hero has spent in the dungeon has also been introduced. The current day is displayed in the hero's window, as well as on the death and level completion screens.
Armor Update
We have revamped and improved almost all the armors in the game, as well as created new ones. The armors are now more intricately detailed and realistic. We have also enhanced the lore aspect, and the armors now come with updated descriptions.
Talismans and Amulets
You will be able to find talismans and amulets in the Dungeon. Besides increasing various characteristics, they can also impact some of the hero's abilities.
New Weapons

Added unique weapons of the Ancients, as well as updated some existing weapons.

Added new secret places.
Effect Indicators
Temporary effects on the hero (buffs/debuffs) are now displayed at the bottom of the main screen. This way, it's easy to see how much time is left for a particular effect—be it poison, bleeding, or an elixir effect—and there's no need to constantly press TAB to check it.
Added the "Secret Traps" skill book that the Thief can find and study. This allows them to disarm traps in chests. The variety of traps found on chests will be increased.
The flying creature has received updated behavior and can now be shot down with a crossbow.

Devlog – New features and improvements

Here we have gathered the main improvements we have made in the Dargroth Dungeon over the past few months.
These enhancements (along with some others currently in progress) will be available in the Spark in the Dark demo update, which we plan to release in September.
Armor Update
We have revamped and improved almost all the armors in the game, as well as created new ones. The armors are now more intricately detailed and realistic. We have also enhanced the lore aspect, and the armors now come with updated descriptions.

Patch for the demo (0.012.4)
Hello everyone!
The new patch adds Italian and German translations to the game.
Also:
Updated textures and pictures of ancient shields.
Added one more note which you can find in the dungeon.
Slightly increased a duration of lanterns so they will shine a bit more longer. The number of generated lanterns depends on game difficulty (but not much).
Metal shields cannot be damaged.
Fixed a list of available display resolutions in Settings.
Several fixes and minor improvements.

Spark in the Dark / New Demo
Hello adventurers!
We have made some features & improvements to Spark in the Dark for the past few months which we want to share with you.
Here are the main changes which wait for you in this patch.
Updated bestiary
The studied creatures are stored in the bestiary forever. Also, a 3D bestiary has appeared in the main menu, where you can always see the monsters you know and their abilities.
Improvements related to the main character
In a defensive stance with a shield, the hero's movement speed depends on the type of shield. With a heavy shield, he is slower, and with a light one, he moves more quickly.
The lantern has a chance to be damaged when the hero falls on his back. The chance of damage depends on the difficulty level. A damaged lamp shines worse.
The stamina cost of jumping depends in part on your armor skill.
Tiredness is added for picking with a crowbar, depending on the complexity of the lock being opened.
Added perk "Child of Shadows" for the thief. This reduces the effect of Darkness by 25%.
Several new hero phrases have been added.
Development of crossbows
Generation of buffs on crossbows, for example Powerful arcs give +15% damage. So now some crossbows with bonuses. Sometimes you can find reinforced arrows that are guaranteed to deal critical damage.
The inventory displays which arrow the crossbow is loaded with.
Improvements to the abilities and AI of some monsters
Updated some monster animations and added new ones. Minor adjustments to some skills. For example, Spider Bite now causes the victim to slow rather than bleed as before.
Improved rest in unsafe places
Now this kind of rest is harmoniously connected with the mechanics of Darkness. When resting in an unsafe place, there is a chance to get a nightmare if the bed is in a dark place without light (Darkness consumes you). If you sleep in the light, then there will be no nightmares, but the monster can disturb in both cases, depending on the number of living creatures on the level.
Lore Development
Generation of new additional notes in the pockets of the dead. Notes can contain interesting stories, useful information.
Some books now contain illustrations.
AND ALSO
Some stationary lamps can sometimes explode when turned on, depending on the difficulty level. The dungeon is many centuries old and it was strange that previously all the lamps were turned on perfectly :-]
Updated some locations.
You can now see the raid statistics in the list of the best heroes.
Highlighting of monsters in red when receiving damage is now an option in the settings.
Added Turkish translation and updated existing localizations.
Added 2 new achievements.
Several new sounds have been added.
A lot of fixes, minor improvements, balancing, including those based on your feedback.

P.S. Also, work is continuously being done on the deep tiers of the dark Dungeon. Ancient halls and corridors, mechanisms and objects are being built, new monsters are being created, ancient texts are being written.
Spark in the Dark / New Demo
Hello adventurers!
Over the past few months, we have made many different improvements and innovations to Spark in the Dark. And now we want to share with you a fresh demo.
New features and improvements are waiting for you.
Dream catchers
You can find rare artifacts called Dreamcatchers in the Dungeon. Having such an artifact, your hero, in case of death, is reborn at the place of the last rest, and the stone disappears.
This will increase the survivability of the hero, and protect against accidental deaths a bit), at the same time, it will keep the game hardcore, because the number of "lives" is limited.
The number of such stones in the Dungeon depends on the complexity of the game. There are 5 on initial difficulty, 3 on standard, and 1 on nightmare.
Skill Books
In the Dungeon, you can find special rare books, reading which gives the hero a new skill / ability.
You can find books that give the ability to improve sharpening or poisoning weapons. A thief can find a book on setting up poison traps and learn how to disarm them. The number of books will increase.
Weapon
We have made various improvements to the game related to weapons and the combat system.
Added new weapons. Legacy weapons are better balanced, descriptions have been updated to better match the lore. Updated all weapon and shield images to better quality.
Improved weapon generation system on levels. For example, in each raid, a different sword may be lying in the same place (or not lying).
Added "One-Handed Weapon" and "Two-Handed Weapon" skills. They are growing when using the corresponding type of weapon.
Added the ability to poison arrows.
Added sounds when arrows hit wood, stone, metal, monsters.
The crossbow can be worn simultaneously with two-handed weapons.
Added new animations and abilities to the monsters. Spiders can now effectively bite the victim, the undead can kick, and Morroch can deliver a powerful kick from which the hero will fall on his back.
Improvements in the artificial intelligence of monsters.
Updated some locations and environments.
New sounds
Added a set of new sounds that were previously missing :)
For example, now you will hear how the lamps light up and break, how the crowbar creaks when the chest is opened, and how the hero screams when he falls into the abyss. And also, those terrible voices in the head, which the adept of the Four Towers, who stabbed himself in madness, wrote about in his diary!
Interface Improvements
Updated some windows and dialogs. When viewing equipment, a "live" character is now displayed.
A new book about Starstones has been added.
