Sparklite Out Now on Linux! Plus New Features + Fixes!
We're delighted to announce the arrival of Sparklite on Linux! The whimsical action-adventure game released today and includes the latest content update for Sparklite!
Linux users will be delighted with this new release as well as the amount of content and new features it includes.

Features • Added support for hot swapping between controllers on PC • Harmony’s finale is now worthy of the work that it takes to assemble her band. Collect all the beats to see it! • Added several forest rooms to improve general feel of the zone • Improvements to UX on Inventory screen: - Widgets now quick equip - Visual indicators for passive gadgets and widgets more clear - Gadgets dim when in equip mode - Tooltips revised • Controllers not on our official supported list should at least display button indicators now • Reworked Description panel in Inventory - Now requires a button press to get more info but cleans up the UI • Add music to Furnaces • Audio no longer ducks in Options from Main Menu • Added new “Plays Best with Controller” toast at start-up
Bug Fixes
Critical • Fixed occasional crash when spamming the talk button in Founder’s dialog • Fixed crash on Inventory Menu when pressing confirm without anything selected
Medium • Fixed mountains room ledge that people were getting stuck on • Fixed Golden Woods tile that was broken • Fixed mountains room pit that was too difficult • Remove invisible “No” button in Co-Op Menu Dialog • Mis-clicking anywhere in menus no longer removes focus of current selection • Fixed UI anchoring issues on 1920x1200 • Prevent multiple menu options from being highlighted at the same time with mouse hovering * Desert boss body parts now hit-flash like the other bosses * Re-balance final boss fight to have more consistent enemies
Low • Removed some unclear room symbols Goldenwoods minimap • Storm Weather effect now is a shader, partial fix for dark UI screens during storm • Wingnut no longer flies off-screen during chat cinematic • Typo in illumination patch • Fix visual glitch with nameplate when moving between objects (ex. Hawk and Hawk’s Dog) • Wrong sound played when equipping a Patch, now fixed • Credits no longer scrollable with mouse • 1x2 Patches now display as Invalid in all expected cases • Muckvac no longer stays on without button held down • Fix visual glitch on title bar animations when interacting with objects. Title bar would freeze and not display during popup. • Brighten up final boss fight a bit visually

We’re proud to announce the arrival of the biggest ever update for our whimsical action-adventure, Sparklite! Sparklite players will be delighted with the amount of extra content and new features we’ve managed to cram into this latest update.
Sparklite players who install Update 1.5 can look forward to;

New! Champion Game Mode - For the hardcore gamer looking to challenge themselves

Chopping grass now has a chance to drop Sparklite
Thanks to active community we’ve also added lots of bug fixes and quality of life improvements
Casual Game Mode:
The brand-new Casual Game Mode is intended for people who mostly just want to see everything Sparklite has to offer, without the pressure of failure. In this mode, hearts drop more often, players begin their adventure with more health & there are also more dig spots. This mode is ideally suited to players who want to focus on Sparklite’s story and enjoy the world of Geodia.
Champion Game Mode:
For players who like an additional challenge after beating the game. Ada's adventure will be harder this time around. Enemies and Titans will be stronger and have new attacks but, the rewards will be greater as they will drop more Sparklite. Players start the game with all schematics but Vaults no longer appear in the world. Choose this mode for a whole new way to experience Sparklite!
Finally, as if that wasn’t enough, you can now also earn unique banners in Town, (which can be seen on all saves, not just the one you finished the game on), for beating Standard and Champion modes.
We also made the following changes in other updates:

End Run option from Pause Menu (Player Request)
Show Beat Counts on World Map - all beats available for each area in a given run
Add more space for available patches
Minor audio improvements
January update – Jan 10

How goes your adventures in Geodia?
You may have noticed we released an update recently that addressed some bugs you spotted. We also added a whole host of new features!!
We're proud to say we're already back at it, working on some more improvements and features to make your Sparklite adventure even more memorable.
We can't say too much yet but there will definitely be some surprises in there for everyone.
We're delighted to report we've just released another update for Sparklite!
This update comes with new features such as;

Rocky no longer gives incorrect hint when in Swamp or Goldenwoods
FH_Nail Puzzle is now persisted across plays
Buried chest in Acid Bog can no longer be dug up repeatedly
Patches no longer disappear when fusing
Fix bug where one of the furnace doors could be re-entered after falling down
Fix bug where Ada could get knocked out of the stage in Baron fight
Fix memory leak with runtime Scriptable Objects
Fix bug where some users could never get the Spark Slinger Blueprint
Fix art glitch where Furnace Elevator would go down instead of up
Refill Ada’s energy when returning to town

Enable damage on Mosquitos from the hammer
Fix misspelling on Invigorboost dialog when picking it up
Disable damage to airborne Wasps and Jetpack Gremlins with hammer
Fix issue where Mosquitos would appear to hover incorrectly
Fix bug where Tutorial wouldn’t save correctly when shutting off the device
