Update 0.98 - Vengeful Archimage
A new update with new content and gameplay additions ! We also integrate the Steam cloud. We've always tried to ensure backward compatibility of savegames, but adding the Steam Cloud can eventually lead to some problems. Update 0.97 Demonic Arcanist
A new alternative way to win for the last level, giving you more options. It is essentially based on being a generalist in your mana production, and on having a bit of luck. We will pay attention to your feedback to balance it in the next patches. We also added a whole set of statistics and logos for futures. We hope you'll like it!

Balance: delaying the progress of evil by visiting zombies is a bit more expensive.
Balance: strong acceleration of the Dark Lord's speed of arrival when the "normal" time of the game is exceeded. It is always possible to delay it greatly, but this will complicate infinite strategies.

And here's another fix! Several crashes have been fixed. All the saves should be backwards compatible, so don't hesitate to open again your saved games that were possibly unstable. This is especially true if you had a crystal ball in your magic school: it was quite buggy...

We have just deployed a patch that should considerably improve the management of saved games for MacOS users. Options and challenges should also be saved correctly from now on.

Update - 0.96 Wind Master
It took a while. It was the first stage of the roadmap and we are still a bit late, but here is a new content update! It focuses on new non-human students and the items that go with it. Don't be surprised if you don't come across them directly in your new games, they are rare until you have the artifacts that attract them.
New artifacts are not detailed in this changelog, we let you discover them by yourself...
New: Students could now be Elf. New: Students could now be Half-orc. New: Students could now be Deep-one. New: 9 new artefacts (often related to new students types). New: 3 new objects to wear for your students. New: 3 new recruitment cards (elf, half-orc, deep-one). New: tooltips with information on the potential regions in which the university could be established. New: MacOS 64 bit support.
Balance: natural dissipation rate of aberrations halved.
Fix: werewolf hair are now correctly colored. Fix: choirboy, undertaker and knight assistant are correctly labelled as instantaneous. Fix: global performance improvement on interface elements Fix: it is now possible to manually save in all levels, including the forest or the lake. Fix: the shadow-weaving spider works (at last) correctly. Fix: Inquisitor future no more affected by elementalism. Fix: Exorcist future has been purified and will not cause any more crashes.

Stream - Games made in France event

Updated roadmap
Hello to all the directors of magic schools. Here is a new roadmap for Spellcaster University. We've been overhauling a lot of things. We've been giving a lot of thought to the pace and replayability of the game over the past few months and our internal testing is quite encouraging. As usual, if our players come up with some great ideas, we might be able to adjust our schedule to make room for them! This means that these dates are not static (those who remember our first roadmap are fully aware of this ;) ). The next update is coming very very soon. Some pictures of what's waiting for you:
New update 0.95 - chinese available and promotion
We are very pleased to announce that Spellcaster University is now available in Chinese (simplified and traditional), thanks to our partner WhisperGames. To celebrate this, the game will be on promotion for one week. And more translations will follow!
The addition of these languages is accompanied by a series of patches. It is mainly a technical update (patches and engine improvements). The next one (which will arrive this autumn) is already dense in content, with 10 new artefacts and equipment and three new races for your students.
