The following things have been addressed - [/p]
  • [p]Fixed gamepad navigation on the difficulty selection screen during campaign creation. [/p]
  • [p]fixed Dreams of Storyteller/War Hero/Dragon Slayer not granting item slots. [/p]
  • [p]fixed the "Glyph Lock" debuff not removing a glyph slot [/p]
  • [p]Tooltips can now correctly add up and summarize identical stack bonuses. [/p]
  • [p]Fixed darkelf tier 3 units not dropping tier 3 souls. [/p]
  • [p]Fixed Nor's Grip not correctly preventing self-revives and tombstone visual effects (e.g. Rise from Ashes, Undying). [/p]
  • [p]Fixed Mrask'Dur adventure not allowing you to attack him if you visited him before getting the Circle spellpage.[/p]

Patch 01.10.31971

Changes



  • Renamed the average sized "Jewel" to "Cut Jewel" as that previously caused confusion.
  • The ability to gain Sacrificial Blood is no longer lost after finishing the Ritual quest for Shal'Adir.
  • Made the "units cannot be upgraded" tooltip clearer when it refers to being in the battle screen.
  • Added an end-turn reminder if there are unfused constellations.


Bugfix



  • Fixed the Banshee’s Screech skill animation not being played.
  • Fixed the Artificer's Moonsilver upcrafting requiring Moonsilver instead of Adamantinum.
  • Fixed the "Select a Constellation" title not being localized in other languages.
  • Fixed Burgle's Heist skill not stealing anything from Zahaar and Shal'Adir.
  • Fixed Shiny Collector achievement not triggering.
  • Fixed an issue where locations from quests could spawn on hexes with constellations, preventing access to that hex (making the constellation unobtainable). Now hexes with constellations are excluded (the initial distribution still spawns some of them under guarded but accessible locations).
  • Fixed Dream of Retirement not setting the Remaining Movement Points to 0.
  • Fixed the Troll adventure in Regan Gor crashing when not owning DLC Demon Scourge.
  • Fixed Life-leech not correctly adding up in Conjurer constellation.
  • Fixed "Sinistra Annex" room extension not displaying the right value.
  • Fixed dialogue conditions for Demon lords Krahz and Mrask that prevented you from making deals with them.
  • Fixed stretched images in final adventure.
  • Fixed a few German typos/naming issues.


Modding



  • CampaignStartSchools now support awarding pages from different schools even for dynamic spell pages.
  • IUnitModification: Converted the AdditionalArtefactSlots and RemovedArtefactSlots into ContentReferences, so they're moddable.

Hotfix Deployed – Norimar Region Issue Resolved

We've just released a hotfix addressing an issue in the Norimar region:


  • Fixed: Certain locations were not spawning as intended in Norimar.
  • Fixed: Killing enemies in the region was not awarding reputation with the Norcaine city.


Note: To ensure all changes take effect, a new game is required.

Patch 1.10 - Astromancers and more!



Children of Nor DLC content:



  • A new crafting class for you to enjoy: The Astromancer. Utilize the power of the stars by arranging jewels and finding the most powerful constellations all around Fiara.
  • The cycle of the moon influences the world on both a big and small scale. You may find certain flora and fauna having adapted to this cycle.
  • The Dark Elves are paying a visit to your corner of Eo. What do they bring?
  • In the wake of the Dark Elves the circle mage Zahaar also makes his appearance. What’s his scheme?
  • Artificers, fire up your forges. Moonsilver has been found!
  • Visit Norimar as a new starting location for the Path of the Circle.


Changes



  • Setting your Economic Difficulty on "Tough" or higher, now spawns additional loot guards around the world onto locations that did not have them before.
  • A unit’s power is now calculated live based on its stats. This decreases the overall numerical ranges but gives you a truer comparison value.
  • Familiar and Bodyguard promotions increase the owner’s upkeep.
  • Storm Wyvern deals more damage with her blast.
  • Buffed the consumables "Allfire Essence" and "Arcane Concoction".
  • The “Advanced Settings” in the campaign setup are now integrated into the starting a campaign flow.
  • We have updated the gamepad controls for the "Advanced Settings" screen.


Bugfix



  • Fixed crafting recipe filter not always being shown when the first recipe was added.
  • King's Mage Origins is now no longer locked, and the Circle Page is received after finishing the last adventure.
  • Fixed tooltip anchors for "Faction Promotions", "Factions" and "Active Spells" to be displayed at the same position.
  • Darkvale Gate Adventure fixed - Adventure no longer requires other loot than Undead Remains.
  • Adventure Overview: Fixed an issue that would show an outdated position for an adventure if the stack moved recently which would also result in the adventure lingering even after it was resolved. This change will also cause previously visible adventures on a stack to not be listed if they vanish into the fog of war.
  • Fixed an issue where the effects of auras weren't removed correctly if a unit influencing this aura died.
  • Fixed the Troll City Adventure > Now the piles of rubble will turn into Mugwa Shrines.
  • Fixed an issue where the camera would jump to stacks with queued movement although they cannot move.
  • Fixed the mines in Silver Drift Hollow not being used by the adventure and instead spawning new ones.
  • Fixed visual bug for random maps (e.g. flying coastlines, mountains)
  • Fixed an issue where after collecting a room reward using gamepad you couldn't select any other rewards afterwards.
  • Absorb Pain and Dreamweaver's Bond are not executed by default anymore when clicking on an ally.
  • Improved performance issues when equipping / unequipping artefacts.
  • Parry Stance now correctly replaces Guard.
  • Cannot summon units on tiles with a shop anymore.
  • Fixed Cursed Army Soul Reward showering you with artefacts.
  • Fixed an issue with battle AI not correctly picking positions to summon units onto.
  • Corrected the visual indicators for summoning units at high altitudes.
  • Lodge building now won't be stopped if an enemy moves over the already built lodge and instead only cancels the building of the lodge if an enemy ends the movement on the already existing lodge
  • Fixed an issue with the "Clearing the Mines" adventure not triggering the fight correctly.
  • Fixed an issue that caused revived heroes and apprentices to have some of their stats duplicated.
  • Fixed location income UI if influenced by demons
  • Fixed a issues with battle speedup behaving inconsistently. It sometimes was active in idle and not active while enemy units were fleeing.
  • Fixed the skill bar to be able to display more skills
  • Fixed an issue where you could build a lodge onto another location that already had a skill active (e.g. harvesting) if you had to move to that position first.
  • AI: Poison Coating Skill shouldn't cause Enemies to only move one step at a time


Quality of Life



  • Overhauled the "Active Spells" overview for better gamepad navigation (cancel spells via glyph).
  • Reworked tooltip formatting for better readability.
  • Crafting now supports controller drag and drop to slot items.
  • Game Options now have an "Show Ai Movement on World" option. Enabled by default, it shows the movement of all visible AI stacks on the world map during their turn as usual. Disabling it, skips all that and leaves the camera in place, only showing you hostile actions against yourself.
  • Game Options now have a "Show AI Battle Movement" option. Enabled by default, the camera follows every enemy on the battlefield. Disabling it always keeps you in control of the camera.
  • Updated production queue tooltips to show more detailed information about what is being built.
  • The overview map now displays stacks and many other locations.
  • Remaining resource ticks will now show you how many days they last when in your influence area, respecting all the additional modifiers you have.
  • On gamepad the pre and post battle screens will now remember which unit you inspected after returning to the battle screens instead of always selecting the first one.
  • You can now change the speed of the gamepad emulated mouse cursor.
  • You can now change the speed slowdown if the gamepad emulated mouse cursor is over an interactive element.
  • A gamepad shortcut has been added to the Tower Room page, allowing for quick navigation to blueprints for the next available room slot.
  • Build Lodge Skill now supports having multiple units with the skill in the same stack and being able to decide which lodge of which unit to build


Modding



  • Antagonist Progression Effects are not getting skipped anymore if progression is increased more than one level.
  • Necromancy recipes now support CraftingLockTags + you can bypass the "no life"-requirement in the NecromancyConfiguration.
  • Necromancy recipes now support item creation.
  • Changes how Spellcasting Modifiers in FactionModifications work (can now use tags and thus only modify a subset of spells).

A small patch fixing some bugs in the recently introduced Origins update

  • Fixed reference to DLC in Tutorial 2, preventing users without DLC from playing it
  • Fixed adventure Royal Mage so Circle invitation comes only after visiting Seat of Kings
  • Fixed an adventure in Westguard, where you would fight Orcs who wrongfully belong to the Bastion faction.
  • Fixed an issue where the Surrounded on all sides quest in Bastion would freeze.

  • Bone pile now has treasure overlay.
  • Fixed restart battle not resetting additional units from bodyguard (sorry, no more endless guards)
  • Fixed an issue where building a room giving you +magic rooms in a magic room slot would make the save game unusable.

  • Fixed several "Complete the campaign..." achievements not triggering with the Origins campaign.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to hang if the Hero Overview Window is open while another hero is added or the state of a lodge changes and then a hero/apprentice receives damage during a battle.
  • Fixed the loss warning in the pre-battle screen overlapping elements

More Languages



Dear SpellForce: Conquest of Eo community,

Russian language is now supported with a good fan translation that is included in the standard installation of the game.

More fan translations, like Ukrainian and Japanese, are available as Mods, more information on how to install these can be found in the Steam discussion forums.

Patch Notes 2024-11-04


  • Fixed an issue where the selected item wouldn't be shown in the battle inventory using a gamepad.
  • Fixed an issue where the "no action left to use this item" text wouldn't show up correctly in the battle inventory.
  • Fixed issue where interactability of the select button in the battle inventory wouldn't be updated if you switched between inventories of two units.
  • Changed how interactability is presented in battle inventory. It will now show the actual count of remaining items instead of x0.
  • Fixed inventory tooltips in battle-map
  • Changed how the game validates that the savegame folder can be written to reduce issues with win11 and onedrive.
  • Fixed minor graphical glitch with keeping crafting items in slots (would refill a slot and then show you that you have "-1" of an item, but wouldn't let your craft anyway)
