Sphere Arena v0.8.3
This update brings new UI - both visuals and navigation were updated. This means you can play the game using gamepad without switching to keyboard and mouse to navigate main menu/lobby. Moreover, new buttons look much better than generic rectangular ones :)
Sphere Arena v0.8.2
It's been a while since last update, but here it is! I needed some time to decide about further development direction and learn more about Unreal Engine. One thing that was missing were loops, so that you could enjoy rolling upside down. Since last version I developed system which allows me to easily place structures of required shape on arenas. This update contains single map - it uses loops a lot and is really challenging. For those of you who are new to the game, I'd strongly recommend playing tutorial and some easier levels first. For those who like challenges - enjoy new arena and remember about using brake. ;)
Map overview:
Next update will contain easier arena so that you could see new features in less demanding environment. Keep rolling!
Sphere Arena v0.8.1
This is 1st Sphere Arena update since EA relase. It brings 2 new maps, as well as some improvements.
New maps:
New Salleans Relax Zone - Wavy Arena is simple and relaxing map. Lots of jumps and open area will let you roll around, without worrying about obstacles. You can see video below:
Grand Ray Sphere Games Complex - Arena B will test your balancing skills. Many rails and falling platforms will pose real challenge in getting to checkpoints. Move carefully, but quickly enought to beat your opponents (or improve your time, if playing solo)! Video below:
New features:
Possibility to assign actions to mouse buttons.
Minor changes:
Starting points in "New Salleans Relax Zone - Halfpipe" were moved, to avoid getting stuck behind them - this causes falling right into halfpipe after leaving them.
New menu look.
Some light improvements in "Grand Ray Sphere Games Complex" and "Mount Claregin Jumping Complex".
Bugfixes:
Selected map name is displayed correctly on client's lobby screen.

Sphere Arena enters Early Access!
Hi!
A little more than a year ago I started learning Unreal Engine. What started as test project, turned into playable game, which is available on Steam since yesterday.
If you haven't already seen the trailer you can watch it here: And here's 1st bit of uncut gameplay to give you a look at one of the arenas:
