Sol was a close friend of Nerod the Seer and guarded him on many sea expeditions. This ocean explorer discovered a sea predator named Mercon and told Sol about it. The pirate was impressed by the unusual fish, which had a long nose with sharp teeth, so he decided to use it as a weapon.
The pirate ordered to catch several specimens and deliver them to the observatory. There he instructed the shamans to adapt the fish for movement on land and breathe new life into it. For a long time, the shamans did not succeed and only after an experiment with tiburon, the demons were able to revive the merkons.
In total, about 20 land fish were created by Sol's order. The pirates used them to attack enemy ships at sea and ravage human camps on land. Today, there are practically no demon pirates left, and after Sol's death, no one knows where to find merkons. Almost no one.

Humans were the first race of the Sphere to master shipbuilding and begin expansion to other continents. Soon, demons joined them. In order to dominate the sea, Vagroth created separate units of pirates who were supposed to prevent people from moving on the water. The most famous of them was Solomitus Kahren, also known as Sol.
He was a loyal demon who fought fiercely against people. He sank hundreds of human ships, plundered dozens of camps. He was considered a real terror of the seas, until one day his luck changed.
Humans spread a rumor that a ship with precious stones and valuable tomes would soon leave for Erikuria. Sol did not think that this could be a trap, so he went for big loot. And the ship really was. But it was a fast bait vessel that lured the pirate into a narrow strait. There, the humans began shelling Sol's ship with coastal guns. The pirates wanted to leave, but a huge ship blocked the way back.
The demon knew that the ship was going to the bottom, but its crew could still escape. He raised a magic shield, which allowed the demons to put on Neroda's air and go underwater on merkons. Sol himself accepted death with honor. His body was never found. Only his hat remained in memory of him.
Aradot's Invasion
Dark deeds happen on Fridays. The coming Friday is no exception: rumor has it that on this day the dragon Aradot, strengthened by the ritual of his Witnesses, will visit the world of the Sphere in order to feast on the juicy flesh of people and demons and bring chaos to the established way of life.
Aradot will appear where he was last seen - at the Obelisk in the Emerald Valley. And of course, as always, he will bring other monsters with him. To cope with the invasion, this world needs heroes again, and it has them!
