Hey hey, would anyone be able to help me test out a new update? I'm publishing a beta branch of SPINGUN now.
HOW? You can access the beta by right-clicking SPINGUN in your Steam games library -> Properties -> Betas -> and select "beta -". An update will download and once completed you should see "v1.3.0.0" in the Options screen in-game.
This beta is for Windows only. Sorry Mac peeps, you'll get involved soon!
I need help testing these new features: // The new CURSED ENDLESS mode (60 Seconds to unlock achievement and new ship)
// Ranking display (ie "3rd place") on the "Game Over" and "Zone Won" screens.
// And if you're super good enough, get a top 3 (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) score to auto-unlock those fancy podium trails from the Launch Competition awards. (Probably getting a top score on CURSED ENDLESS will be easiest for now.)
If you're able to do this, let me know how it goes! Did the trails unlock for you? Did your ranking correctly display on the end screens? Did you die a lot in CURSED ENDLESS?

That's 4 different Gold winners, 4 Silver, and 4 Bronze. RAD! Be sure to show these fancy new trails off in the community with screenshots.
After updating, your trail awards should be automatically granted (based on your Steam ID) when you start the game. If that doesn't happen, let me know and I'll help you out.
Lastly, I've got a question for the winners: I'd like to let more people have these fancy new trails in the future. In a future update, I could make it so that when a player gets a top 3 spot on the leaderboards, it would automatically award a winner trail to them. Also, once you've recieved a winner trail, it's yours, and you won't lose it even if you fall off the leaderboard. I think that'd be a pretty neat way to allow top players to get these pretty things. What do you think?? Do we let new players have a shot at getting these trails, or should only you you 12 winners have the privelege?

SPINGUN Launch Week Competition!
Alright, SPINGUN is launched, and the fun is just beginning. :D
Competition Rules
// Summary
It's simple! There are 15 leaderboards in game that are looking a bit empty at the moment. I challenge you to get the best times you possibly can by the end of next week.
All leaderboards are up for grabs: both "Endless" modes, all 8 "Zones", 3 "Bosses", "Ballpit", and "Total Kills".
The official deadline for your times and rankings will be next Friday, November 18th, at 11:59PM (EST).
// Prizes
The Top 3 times for each leaderboard will receive an exclusive fancy boost trail, Gold, Silver, or Bronze, depending on how they ranked.
(1st place will receive all trails, 2nd place will receive Silver and Bronze, and 3rd place will receive only Bronze.)
All Top 3 times will also receive a free Steam Key for my other game, "David."! (Only one key per winner.)
