Community Survey Results!
We are excited to reveal the results of our survey. Huge thanks to everyone who participated and sent us their feedback! We are currently working on the roadmap for 2023 which is based on the survey results.
So! In total, we had 426 people replying to our survey, 54% of which told us that new content is the main priority for the game. We can't disagree here – we'd love to have more endgame activities ourselves. But on the other hand, 49% (please note that it was a multiple answer question) told us that we should focus more on improving what we have at the same time as well. And we will! First part of it was the recent controller update and we plan to do much more with the total quality of our community in the game.
With the roadmap reveal, which should be coming next week, we'll announce not only our plans for the new content, but also our plans for the existing one, like for example story mode, which was third most popular thing that you asked us to improve. A lot of exciting news coming up!
We will also try and change our update structure to better suit community need and our development speed. We will release less updates, but will make them bigger. Please note that this doesn't include bug fixes and critical changes — those will be pushed out as soon as we have them!
We can't wait to share our plans for the game!

- Added a button to copy room code into your clipboard (like Ctrl+C) so you can paste where you want;

Version 1.3.2.0 and Demo Update are Live
We have a first batch of fixes for the new update ready. We've also updated the demo version of the game to reflect latest controller changes as well. We are also actively working on the renaming feature for the controller, ETA next week. Thank you for the feedback!
- Improved building mode speed for controllers;
- Pause menu button tooltips were changed to the proper ones;
- Localization fixes;
- Now tutorials disable properly;
- And fixed tutorials in the new game saves.

Update v1.3.1.0
In this update, we are bringing the long awaited controller revamp. Yes, not a fix, but rather an overhaul of the system as a whole. We'd love to hear your feedback about it, as the system is very new and had some UI changes along with it. Please tell us if it is better what we'd need to tweak. Steam Deck users, now is the chance to try Spirit of the Island – everything should be working properly!
Other changes:
New option to enable or disable tutorial in the Settings Menu;
Removed some logs to increase performance of the game;
Backpacks in your inventory now stack, just in case of you find more than one.
Fixes
Fixed wrong text showing on UI interactions after using a gamepad and going back to keyboard;
Fixed wrong game options settings “on” and “off” for gameplay settings;
Fixed Milk Jar not being able to produce more than 1 (bucket with milk is now stackable);
Fixed Married NPC not receiving birthday gifts and wedding gifts;
We believe we fixed the bug with duplicating bags.

Update v1.3.0 is live!
We are glad to present a new update for Spirit of the Island! This time we've focused on vehicle controls and made them much more comfortable to use.
NEW
New vehicle controls, based on community feedback: now all vehicles move in the same direction as your character. We will add an option to get back to the old control scheme very soon, in case you like it more;
Land vehicles now have breaks! To use them, press "Jump" button ("space" by default);
Added missing TNT item - whoops!
CHANGED
Almost all insects will have a chance to spawn at night, making them easier to find;
Increased shadow resolution;
Increased the size of all storage texts;
Increased text size of the pets houses;
You can now change the name of fridges again;
FIXES
Fixed major bug where some multiplayer saves could also save on top of a single player game when a connection has been lost;
Fixed an error when a cicada couldn't be caught;
Fixed world map position when in Town;
Fixed tourists going to a wrong place when relaxing at the beach;
