Just kidding, it's just cheaper at launch, is all.

Full release and free to play

Free to play should be starting any time now.

The special items have been removed from the client and you can no longer summon the punchy daggers.

Check previous patch notes for more updates.

Thank you so much to all of those who bought the game in early access. You are very appreciated.

Preparing for full release and going f2p

Greetings plunderers!

Finally going full release, and first let me take you through some changelog:

  • WASD movement added
  • Movement logic got a complete overhaul
  • Final boss added
  • Various small bug fixes that are mostly invisible unless you happened to run into them before...

Paid players will be able to spawn a legendary dagger (multiple times) that is dual-wieldable (of course) that has a completely unique ability not seen in the game - pushback. There is also another pushback weapon added to the game, but you'll have to find it yourself...

Just press ctrl+alt+shift+B to spawn it. This will also change the color of your eyes randomly :)

The game will be available for free at the end of the month, at which point the dagger spawning ability will be lost.

Have fun beating the final boss!

Full release and going free-to-play

Early access was something we envisioned would take the game to a completely different direction. However, there's not been much enthusiasm over the versus-modes, so development on them stopped after the release of the dedicated servers. The campaign has gathered most of the interest, and for the past year most of our energy went towards that.

We will get out of Early Access and into full release with Spoils of Plunder in a few weeks. Before that we will push the final update of Early Access.

In the update there will be a myriad of bug fixes, the final boss level, and some movement updates.

The boss level is going to be hard, really hard. Movement logic received an overhaul, and the movement itself should now be smoother. Movement is also possible with keyboard and controls can be more widely customized.

We want to thank all the Early Access players who purchased our game. You were few, but we hope you enjoy the game as much as we do.

This will likely be the last content update ever on the game. We will continue to support our players and do bug fixes if any are needed, but unless the game gains significantly more interest, there will be no more content updates.

With regards,
-Grim Dapper
