โจ REWORKED POST BATTLE SCREEN AND FLOW
At the end of every battle players will now see a reworked post battle screen. The new experience take the players through 3 tabs - Nominations, Scoreboard and Rewards.
Players should be familiar with Nominations and Scoreboard, these have received some visual uplift updates and made into their own tabs.
Players will now be able to see all 10 players after a 5v5 match
The new rewards screen will let players know their total Valor and Hero Mastery Points gained from the battle and additionally notify them if they received a case after the battle.

๐ HERO MASTERY PROGRESSION UPDATES
Hero Mastery Progression system is back for all heroes
There are 21 skins of Uncommon rarity for 14 weapons across all 5 primary weapon families
Players will be able to get 3 new skins from every Hero Mastery Progression paths alongside cases and valor
๐ BUG FIXES
Heroes will no longer try to slide on the laser doors protecting their base on Muertigo and Hakone Temple maps
The bots on ChowDown will not try to get into the Basement through the closed door anymore
The cursor will no longer disappear for gamepad users when they link their Discord account
Your hero elimination doesnโt affect performance on the GunRange map anymore
Sonny has been given some anger managements lessons and will not drop a turret at the end of the match when his team loses
Players will not encounter errors when they try to switch sets for locked heroes
The manufacturer for all Shardinators is now the same - Pistola Olivari

Tyrant AR:

Range Reduced from 23 to 15 meters
Damage falloff starts at 10 meters, goes from 100% to 75% at max range
Hive Grenade:
Reduced secondary projectile homing distance from 15 to 12 meters
Reduced secondary projectile homing turn speed from 235ยฐ/sec to 180ยฐ/sec
The secondary projectiles are now slower giving the players a better chance to avoid them
All Grenades:
Grenade throwing speed is increased significantly and now takes 0.05 seconds instead of 0.3

Fixed the unclaimable Camara reward in the main menu
FPS drops when throwing grenades and while deploying turrets have been fixed

Plenty of changes and improvements have been made, so let's not delay any further and breakdown what to expect in this new update! ๐
๐นNEW WEAPONS AND UTILITY
Shardinator (Grenade Launcher) - Creates damaging fragments upon explosion. Long reload and fire rate times but very powerful.
Shox 33 (Grenade Launcher) - Shocks enemies on impact with itโs high voltage payload.
Franta (Sniper Rifle) - Splits into penetrative shrapnel which can also deal bonus head shot damage.
Hex-6 (Grenade) - Standard explosive grenade which packs a large amount of damage.
Venom (Grenade) - Emits a toxic cloud damaging your opponent once in contact.
Hive (Grenade) - Releases swarming shrapnel homing onto the enemy.
Kewler (Grenade) - Slows down and freezes your opponents.
๐นWEAPON RAREITIES UPDATES We are updating the rarity system to reflect upcoming changes and additions to the arsenal. The first step you can see with this update is that Base now includes not just default guns for each weapon family, but default versions of all guns in the game. Therefore within the Common rarity you will get slightly skinned versions, and greater skins moving up the rarity ranks.
๐นPROGRESSION SYSTEM UPDATES
To gain new weapons, you need account progression with Valor.
Hero masteries will not contain rewards BUT, this is only temporary.
Just to clarify, anything that you've unlocked previously will not be removed. Check your account progression to see if you have some new items to claim!
๐นCHOWDOWN MAP UPDATES
Visual Team-colors focused redesign for the whole map to improve readability.
Spawn rooms updated for an easier and more dynamic match start.
Navigation signs are now placed on all major intersections to direct towards the next area with new names for the main sections of the map.
One-Way Doors from the Basement changes the tactics and implies more cooperation from players to perform successful deliveries.
Bridge-Area Redesign - now with a hanging physics bridge!
Water will now extinguish fire or burning players.
Questionable invisible colliders which would allow players to stand in impossible places removed.
Clipping textures fixed.
The flag room Wind tunnel was replaced with Escalator Wall for more accessible entrance and exit.
๐นAUDIO UPDATES
New distance settings to better reflect positions of sounds on the map and provide a clearer audio picture of the surroundings.
Numerous rerecorded and new sounds for weapons, pick-ups, effects, and more.
Heroes have voices now! Hear them speak when you select who to start the battle with in the Loadout.
Updated volume settings.
๐นCUSTOM LOBBY IMPROVEMENTS
Chat on the left side scales properly for various aspect ratios and screen resolutions.
Top bar shows your profile widget and allows access to Settings.
Hover states fixed for lobby settings.
Scrolling through drop-down lists now works properly.
Special characters cannot be used in lobby name.
Time limit value canโt be set to negative.
Minor visual improvements.

Chests will not automatically open. You can now unlock them at your own free will!

When the game is loading after the battle, you wonโt see any tool tips appearing from behind.
Ability icon animation doesnโt disappear after respawn.
Numerous tweaks to the Custom lobby screens layout, it looks and feels smoother now.
Number of over sized weapons have decreased.
Fixed incorrect hand positions for Arx and Sonny.
When you switch sets and change heroes including locked ones in the Loadout, there should be no errors anymore.
No error appears after finishing a duel anymore.
Eliminated Laikas equipped with Svarog SR wonโt drop Artemis from now on.
When you are eliminated with grenade selected, there is no aiming line on the respawn screen anymore.
Wrong voice lines for CTF mode on flag being dropped fixed (FIXED FROM COMMUNITY FEEDBACK).

Hey, Fighters!
Today are releasing the new Squad Blast PTS build exclusively to you, the community, to explore the brand new features available, including new weapons, grenades, and an updated version of the map ChowDown.
Here are some instructions on how to get involved:
Open Steam > Right click on SquadBlast Playtest > Properties > Betas > PTS Beta
You will be given a fresh account to test the progression system.
If you'd like to switch back to your old account once you've finished the PTS Beta, use the same method as above to change the version of the game back to the original and relaunch the game. If you require any support during this process, let us know and we'll gladly help you through!
We will schedule special time slots to try out the updated ChowDown, so stay tuned for announcements in Discord!

๐นIMPROVEMENTS
You can now see your sent and received friend invitations on the Social screen inside the Friends tab.
Accept or decline incoming friend requests from within a player's profile, and cancel outgoing ones the same way. And you can even remove a player from your list if he's already there.
๐นBALANCE CHANGES
There is no more AOE damage passing through walls. No, you can't kill someone on the upper floor by shouting at your ceiling.
Beast mode can now last 30 seconds after initial pickup. The timer continues even if it is dropped. Also, the players can no longer drop Beast mode by eliminating themselves.
๐ BUGFIXES:
The gamepad and keyboard buttons won't stop working in the Custom Lobbies browser anymore.
Fixed several typos in hero ability descriptions.

The LAN finals are finally here - taking place in Goexanimo Gaming Room.
8 best SquadBlast duos from Latvia will battle it out for the prize pool of 1000 EUR.
The most active video game enthusiasts and fans of Latvian content creators have already noticed that SquadBlast, a game created by our partners UltraHorse, which is currently available to interested parties in the Closed Beta stage, has gained more and more popularity amongst the community.
On 19th of November we will find out who is the best SquadBlast duo in Latvia, and we will crown them champions of Clash for Cash.
This time we focused on significant QoL improvements and bug fixes. Let's jump straight to the list of changes!

We hope you had a chance to check out Discord presence in SquadBlast, which we introduced in the previous update.
Now you can also link your Discord account to SquadBlast to receive brand new SMG Esprit and take part in further promotions.
๐น[UPDATE] Spectator Mode Improvements
New controls: Y: Enable/Disable focused player's HUD "[", "]" - or mouse wheel scroll: Map zoom in/out ";" - or mouse wheel click: Reset map zoom
Team colors are locked and won't switch depending on the focused player anymore.
Fixed sniper scope boundaries and other visual effects that didn't disappear properly.
You can switch between players by clicking on their portraits now or use F1-F8.

New players will have only two tutorial battles instead of four.
Added several new animations for Hantu. You can check them out on the Main Screen or Loadout.
Updated visuals for the Account and Hero Mastery progression screens to make the rewards more noticeable.

Bots have the correct versions of the guns in their hands on the nominations screen.

In this update, we improved some essential pillars of your SquadBlast experience - matchmaking, progression, and guns. As I mentioned in yesterday's announcement, we had to reset your profile progress to accommodate these changes. BUT the good thing is that all of the bonus items you received from promo codes are safe!
๐ธ[NEW] LOADOUT SETS
You can now create more than one weapon set for every hero in your Loadout and switch primary and secondary weapons instantly during the fight on Respawn screen.
๐ธ[NEW] WEAPON EDITIONS
There were only base and common guns with default appearances in the game for a while. Now your favorite guns are available in new editions. Play the game, achieve new levels, and get new colorful rewards. At last, Laika can stop pestering the UH weapons master Ziggy for custom hardware decorations. "Default grey sucks butt." she claims.
๐ธ[NEW] GUNPEDIA All the weapons you can get in the game are now presented in our Database within the Gunpedia section. Check out the guns you have, weapons you saw in battles, and get a glimpse of what's available for you to unlock!

When in battle, you will, from time to time, receive case rewards. They are unlocked automatically after the battle, and you will see a new gun you received from the chest.

All your guns can now be inspected with the details, stats, and traits with the new look of the Inspection view available from Loadout, Inventory, and Gunpedia.
๐ธ[NEW] PRACTICE ROOM Try out new weapons or sets, or combos whenever you want instantly directly from the Loadout menu. On the special map, you can check out how every weapon you have works, its spread, how your enemies react to it and practice your skills without any pressure of a real fight. Hantu is pissed about the new testing order. "It was just fine when we tested out in the hangarโno idea why the maintenance guys were bent. None of them got hit. If you ask me, I'd say a few stray bullets here and there kept everyone alert."
๐ธ[NEW] ASSAULT RIFLE - LOGI There is now a new AR with explosive projectiles. This assault weapon fires explosive bullets that cause more damage than conventional projectiles. Expensive gear was developed for private corporation guard forces to put the fear of god into annoying gatherings of citizen rabble.
๐ธ[NEW] DISCORD ACTIVITY & SHARING Discord app can now show your in-game activity, whether you browse menus or participate in a match. And if you want to share your custom lobby, you can do it directly via Discord app using the + button.

After every match, you now receive a certain amount of Valor, which goes into your account progression. At the same time, all heroes you played during the match now receive a corresponding amount of Mastery Points based on their results on the battlefield.
๐น[UPDATE] Matchmaking System We introduced an improved matchmaking rating system to make battles fairer and match you with opponents of the same skill levels. Be aware that it will take a few games to calibrate your profile.
๐น[UPDATE] Battle Experience for new players All players start the game with four predefined maps sequence. You can play them with bots or be matchmade with other newcomers who just started exploring SquadBlast. Go through Underfoot in Conquest, Moonshine Run Payload, Muertigo TDM, and Hakone Conquest to start your fight and jump into open matchmaking next.

Added sorting and various filters to weapon inventory.
We've added proper UI icons to support DualShock 4 and DualSense gamepads.

Range increased from 13 to 16m
Fire rate increased from 0.83/sec to 1.25/sec

Spread was reduced by about 10%
Self-knockback force was reduced significantly.
More gun changes:
The Zeus chain effect now only targets other players and not environmental objects like the Payload.
Scorpio damage has been increased from 15 to 16.
The first extreme measures bonus is now given after the 3rd death instead of the 4th.
Sonny's turret will now properly shoot Laika's clones if they're in shooting range.
The Impact 69 shotgun hand positioning has been fixed.
๐ BUGFIXES:
There has been a Bullfrog projectiles explosion fix. It's now more consistent. The secondary projectiles now explode one frame after the initial explosion. Before, secondary projectiles could still have an additional 40 meters range.
We have updated the description for Zeus about the chain effect and the Trident about its smaller explosion radius.
Action hints in battle have been fixed and now show proper buttons, including the ones to press and hold on gamepads.
Chat messages timestamps now show the time of your local time zone.
System Messages are not 12:00 all the time anymore.

New Playtest October 28th!
Hey, Fighters !
We are finally ready to announce that we are expanding our playtests to North America! ๐บ๐ธ ๐จ๐ฆ Invite your overseas friends! This Friday, the servers will go live at 4 PM (UTC)/ 9 AM (PDT). With the start of our promotional activities, we're also expecting a lot of new players - and new community members! Please, welcome them and support them at the start of their SquadBlast journey!
We're also releasing a big update with A LOT of new features and improvements. Sorry for being silent for so long - we were overwhelmed by cooking it in our development kitchen. But now I can assure you that you will smell this sweet and spicy aroma once you launch SquadBlast. Or even if you look through the patch notes.
โ ๏ธ IMPORTANT: The upcoming update will change the progression and matchmaking systems in the game. We will perform players' profile reset to ensure they are correctly applied. With a new progression system rolling out, you can expect even more guns, rewards, and ways to unlock new content.
๐ ๏ธ TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE: The server will go offline for technical maintenance on Friday, October 28, at 1 PM UTC. We expect it to be finished at 4 PM UTC. It is a necessary preparation for the upcoming update release.
