The bug where you could talk to people while in the air has been fixed. As a result, text will always be in its box!
The right analog sticks' sensitivity has been decreased. Plip will now be more careful on how often she squints.
Text has been properly re-aligned! It should be ever-so-slightly easier on the eyes.
That's it for this go around! Make sure to follow us on twitter, @SuperSquidlit for information on our next title, Super Squidlit, coming this year!
Squidlit v1.081
Hello!
New changes to Squishu! All kinds of wonderful things have happened!
Plip has generously donated her Game Squid so we can have lovely borders instead of black bars! How kind!
Levi, the garbage theory ooblug, now no longer appears in town if Plip leaves her in her cell.
Distracting the Blipston Band should now be easier!
Plip's wiggle muscles have been made less sensitive, allowing her to run freely across the plains when mentally envisioning an analog stick to move.
A glitch where pressing Up on the left analog stick while pausing the game, causing a crash, has been fixed.
The right analog-stick's sensitivity for adjusting the contrast has been adjusted.
See you all next time. Same squishy place, same squishy channel!
Squidlit v1.71
Several updates today as we fix the achievement "Good Squidlit" which requires wiggling at the end!
"Yeah! That's Right! You did it! You're a good Squidlit!" will now activate properly when joysticks and arrowkeys are used!
That's it for version 1.71! Stay tuned for Switch release information along with one final major update for the PC version!
Squidlit Update v1.07!
All kinds of changes have come to Squishu this time around! Here is what whirlwind changes have swept through your squidlity adventures!
Plip has been brought back to the school-room and taught how to mentally envision analog/joysticks from controllers! She now responds to these properly.
Plip has also been taught what arrow keys look like! She will respond to these as well.
Game too eye-searingly bright? A new contrast slider has been implemented! Press "V" or Down on the right stick to make the game darker. Press "C" or Up on the right stick to make it lighter. Press "B" or click the right stick to reset the contrast.
Sometimes Plip would squip and squoop her way between blocks in the ceiling. She has been told this is displeasing to the 3rd-dimensional beings watching her, and will now stop.
Squidlits, Ooblugs, and all other talking creatures have been taught how to take pauses better. Dialogue should flow a bit better and be easier to read.
Plip's jumps have been tuned! There's a lot of nitty and gritty detail here, it should be better. Let us know if it isn't!
That's all the updates for this time around! Stay tuned for more Nintendo Switch information and Super Squidlit information!

Achievements are now working!
Good news!
We have finished tweaking achievements! They should all now be working. Please make sure that you are on the most recent version of the game by either logging out and logging back in on Steam, or by re-installing the game. We ended up uploading multiple patches yesterday, so if something doesn't work you most likely need to update.
Many of the achievements are hidden! Fill out your stickerbook as you find them all!
Thank you all for being so patient with us!
Squishy regards!
Achievements are coming!
In the next day or so, there will be multiple patches being released. This is us making sure the achievements work and fixing errors we find in them. If you find an error in an achievement that doesn't seem to be working, let us know in the discussion section for Squidlit!
Squidlit v1.05 Patch Notes
There have been a few changes in Squishu! Here are all the differences.
Plip has been given more fiber in her muffins, making her more solid. She will no longer ooze into the ground when she's hurt by a Pbthantom in the ground. Hopefully.
Skwit Skwot, God Emperor, has waxed her walls with a new solution. It should prevent squidlits from oozing into the walls in her labratory's cauldron room. She doesn't like how that looks.
It was discovered that strange magical powers were left in the ink rain while words moved through the sky. These weird powers have been safely contained and removed. (Developer tools were accidentally left in)
Skwit Skwot has reduced the amount of coffee in the recipe for oomunculi, causing them to spazz-out less.
Plip has been taught how to properly interact with a crystal ball. I wonder what one could learn from it?
Linnaeus, the ooblug within the library, will now give you a book counter if you talk to him deeper in rather than only near the entrance.
That's all for now! Stay tuned for more Squishu-themed announcements!
Patch Notes 1.04
Hello all our squishy friends!
The powers that be have decided to give the heroic Squidlit, Plip, some limited temporal ability! (To the pause screen, we have added "Restart Level", "Restart Game", and "Continue" options! It uses the placement of the traditional Nintendo "A", so the Xbox "B" or Playstation "O" will be the enter command for controllers.)
There was a Pbthantom within Skwit Skwot, GOD EMPEROR's, laboratory that was pulling passing Squidlits into the ground! It was told that is rude, and has been placed in time-out.
One of the intrepid Knights of the God Emperor seemed to have an issue with the wall he was stationed near. Upon looking back and finding that the muffin he was guarding stained the wall, he would start to clean it. A cleaning crew was dispatched, pleasing the Knight in question.
