Update 0.127 adds an experimental translator for 14 new languages
The 0.127 update is here and it introduces an experimental translator that will automatically translate the game into up to 14 new languages. Here are the ones supported so far:

Portuguese
Russian
Chinese (Simplified)
Japanese
German
French
Polish
Turkish
Korean
Thai
Italian
Ukrainian
Norwegian
I suspect the translations will be far from perfect but it should be infinitely better than nothing for those players who can't read English well.
For any bilingual players out there, let me know how far from perfect the translations actually are. If they turn out good I might be able to mark the game as officially supporting those languages on Steam which would really help our foreign monolingual friends find the game.

Update 0.126 with another new mod: Periodic Mod!
The 0.126 update is here and it introduces a new mod type: Periodic!
The Periodic mod periodically buffs the next effect in the stack. If you have it before an explosion mod for example, your explosives will be really strong, then normal a few seconds later, then really strong again. This lets you make guns that reward you for timing your shots or doing all your damage in bursts, but it comes at the cost of a less consistent gun.
The Periodic mod is also available in the free demo so anyone who wants to try it out can do so right now!
Complete list of changes included in 0.126:
Added a new mod effect: Periodic. It periodically improves the next effect that comes after it. For example, if it comes before a speed mod you'll get temporary bursts of speed. If you put it before a Dismember mod you'll do tons of limb damage in the brief windows where the mod is active and normal damage otherwise.

Stack Gun Heroes will now select graphics quality based on your hardware the first time you launch
Added a new "Ugly" preset for users who care only about performance and not prettiness

Update 0.125 with new mod: Spinup!
The 0.125 update is here and it introduces a new mod type: Spinup!
The Spinup mod spins up faster the longer you fire, and the faster it spins the more it buffs the next mod. So Spinup + Explosion will make a gun that shoots bigger and bigger bombs the longer you hold the trigger. Spinup + Damage will increase damage the longer you hold the trigger, etc. I'm interested to see the guns you guys come up with using this mod. I played around with it a bit and made some cool weapons but I'm sure I only scratched the surface of what's possible.
The Spinup mod is available in the free demo so anyone who wants to give it a whirl can do so right now!

Alpha 0.117b - Major optimizations and graphics improvements
This update includes all new changes from 0.117 and 0.117b for beta testers. For best results, go to the video settings menu in game and try out high and ultra settings! Your computer will probably be able to run higher settings than it used to before.

Beta 0.117 Significant optimizations on all graphics levels. Added Upscaling option to video settings which can greatly improve FPS on high resolutions. Added new lighting that looks better and is faster. Most environments are more colorful. Fixed an issue that was causing some balance changes not to apply. The challenge box will now double the number of pearls you receive. Medium and lower settings now use a more efficient lighting algorithm. Pink chargers no longer talk about ejecting items (Thanks Grimex!) Slightly increased the frequency of juice as mission reward. Menus are much cleaner and easier to navigate. Beta 0.116 Trying a new mini-loading screen when preconstructing the next wave. Let me know if you like this better or worse. Added an option to increase or decrease the detail of enemy robots. This affects wave preconstruction time. Build guides should no longer display incorrectly on high resolutions. (Thanks GitDN!) Build guides no longer flicker when far away. Demolisher mod no longer has an awkward cube indicator (Thanks Phasedragon!) Improved controls for jumping up walls so it will trigger accidentally less often. Beta 0.114 Added the Energizer mod, a negative mod which is unlocked by default. Hopefully this allieviates some problems with low level guns having bad negatives. Added buttons for low, medium, and high presets to make finding a reasonable graphics settings much easier. Jumping directly into a wall or box will now send you up instead of back, making it easier to climb. (Thanks Bonegrinder!) Further reduced the framedrops when preconstructing the next wave. Fixed an issue with decals glowing when backlit. (Thanks ddrs!) Fixed a bug in lightning's description causing it to display incorrect low percentages. Wreckage disappears much sooner when visibility is set to high. Slightly decreased the intensity of wave mods. Resource icons on gun upgrade button should no longer be cut off. (Thanks Stygmia!)
