Stacks TNT was originally released back in 2015 and ran for a couple of weeks on Steam. The problem back then however was that most systems were not up to the task of running the game. This might sound strange to some and yes, the game looks pretty simple so what's the problem? Well, the game needs a good gpu to run all the physics, which simulates the dynamics of about a million blocks at 60 frames per seconds.
Fast forward three years and here it is! I assume (and hope) that now, three years later, most people's PC's are ready for this game :) Not only did I dust off the game but I also rebalanced it here and there and made it more accessible. Hopefully to your likings!
Happy destroying!

Stacks TNT is coming back!
After a 3 year hiatus, Stacks TNT will return from the grave soon!
Stacks TNT development ceased
Hi players,
As you might have noticed there haven't been any updates to the game during the past 6 months. Though we worked on the multi-player aspect of the game for some time, we were forced to abandon development due to a lack of funds and energy.
As a result I've asked Valve to remove the game from the store.
Our apologies to everyone who we've let down. But I hope you've still had some fun times for your $5!
Best regards,
Roy
Compatibility issues - READ BEFORE BUYING!
At this moment many people seem to suffer from system compatibility issues, mostly caused by graphics cards not having the right features to run the game.
Stacks TNT mainly uses the graphics card for physics calculations and it needs a beefy one to do so.
Therefore it is very important to first run the tech demo to determine if your system is able to run the game before purchasing! If the tech demo doesn't run then the game will not run.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards,
Roy

Major Update! (v0.4.0)
Roughly one month since the release the first major update has arrived! A big thanks goes to everyone who has given feedback and suggestions!
Here's an overview of the major new features:
Turret
This building is essential in helping you defend your base. It has a rapid firing machine gun mounted on top that automatically targets nearby MobCorp agents.
MobCorp Fortresses
MobCorp has become even stronger! Strategic points are now protected by fortresses, heavily defended by Sentry units and turrets.
New Weaponry
Behold the Minigun and the Seismic Gun. The minigun is the perfect close combat weapon for fending of batches of MC agents. The seismic gun shoots seismic grenades and allows you to drop terrain on enemy heads!
Other new features
Backdrops.
Difficulty settings.
An audio volume slider & fullscreen/windowed toggle button.
Changes
Diggers will now prefer jumping and stair building to digging .
MobCorp wormholes now spawn only near MobCorp fortresses on the main island.
Improved terrain generation.
Improved lighting.
The flying digger now explodes when dying.
The factory now produces 25% faster.
The advanced factory now produces twice the amount of carbon fibers.
Added tool tips in Help's Recipes pages.
And many small bug fixes and gameplay tweaks...
Note: this version is not compatible with older save files!
Hope you like it!
Stacks TNT Updated to v0.3.8!
As promised, here is the latest update! This update comes with 2 new weapons and the much wanted volume slider and full screen / windowed toggle.
Here's the complete change log for this release:
new: seismic gun
new: minigun
new: settings dialog with controls for music volume and full-screen/windowed mode.
new: help screen: added tool tips for blocks in recipes.
fixed: trade dialog text could overlap other text.
fixed: flags were activated when touched by
any* particle.
changed: some lighting tweaks.
Here's a video of the Seismic Gun in action!
And this video demonstrates the Minigun, which is excellent against Mob Corp agents!
Thanks everybody for their input!
For the next update I'm planning to add 2x2 blocks building, a Minigun Turret building (for defense) and Mob Corp Fortresses. The latter should replace the randomly spawning worm holes.

Development Update
I've started working on adding more weapons to the game. Currently the following weapons are planned:
Seismic Gun: shoots Seismic Bombs which cause the blocks that are hit to become loose (and hopefully fall down and hit a mob ːsteamhappyː)
Minigun: sprays bullets in a straight line. Cannot easily cut through terrain.
Rocket Launcher: launches heat seeking missiles.
Expect these to be added in the coming weeks!
Please note that the road map to the final release can be found here. Don't forget to vote for your favorite features!
