The first Grim-type interceptor was captured by the Legion back in 4611 while repelling a pirate attack. After the interrogation of the prisoner, the Legion found out that the unknown ship is an artisanal modification of the interceptor Neutron. Grim was built in single copies at the pirate station St. Kitts.

Immediately after discovering the pirate fortress, the Legion launched a massive attack on the fort. As a result of the prolonged assault, St. Kitts failed to defend and the pirates destroyed their own station. Grim’s blueprints were gone in flames.

Sometime later, however, the ship reappeared. In a short time, mercenaries managed to obtain samples of the ship and hand them over to the UMC. At the moment, engineers can recreate an exact copy of Grim for a large amount of money. Moreover, the ship’s protection systems have been significantly improved.

The idea of creating a guard frigate had been on the minds of Federation engineers for a long time. The best specialists spent days in laboratories and test sites around the clock to find a solution. During research by General Reactors corporation the engineers managed to develop a unique power distribution system for the ship’s shields. However, a new concept called for a fundamentally different design and characteristics of the ship. All the little pieces of the project finally came together when the leading designer of Dry Lab corporation joined the team.

Thar'ga became one of Ellydium's main breakthroughs. Such a dangerous and powerful technology, coupled with the advanced developments of the Ellydium corporation, makes Thar'ga one of the most terrible weapons of war, that the corporation inherited at the terrible price of the tragedy in the RG7 block of the ‘Ellydium Theta’ station.

In 4613, Gabriel Hugot, an aristocrat from New Babylon, traveled with his family on his yacht across the resort planets. During one of his flights, he was attacked by pirates. With great difficulty, Hugot was able to get the yacht out of the shelling, but lost his arm due to serious damage to the yacht during the attack. Soon after, Hugot bought several stations of the Sanctum system and organized his own shipyard.

Today Hugot is ready to offer all pilots a reinforced and modified yacht “Helicon”, a real work of art among civilian ships. Behind the appearance of a tropical fish hides a serious armour and a powerful computer that can quickly capture the target in its sights.
