A Huge Void
Dear Players,
Unfortunately, life can be very cruel sometimes. This past year has been incredibly difficult, and all that is left now is a huge void.
I just wanted to update you that I am resuming work on the game. Your support and patience during these challenging times mean a lot to me.
Sincerely, Kobi
Personal announcement
It is with a heavy heart that I bring to you a personal announcement today. My eldest son, Jonathan, has been recently diagnosed with cerebral ALD. As we navigate through this challenging time, I have decided to dedicate as much time as possible to him.
At this moment, the road ahead is uncertain - not only for us as a family, but also for the progress of the game. We kindly ask for your understanding and support during these trying times, and promise to keep you updated on our journey.
Thank you Kobi

Version 0.7.5 update (on beta)
Hi all, We are very happy to officially announce 0.7.5 is up on the beta! A lot of requested features have been added and bugs fixed. Achievements are finally here!
You can also play with controller, controlling not only the ships but the menus opening the inventory and switching to the different screen with the shoulder buttons.
We also added a fun little mini-game based on the survivor trend, it is still very much work in progress but already fun! FYI items like shields stack on top of each other, so if you get an item with lower stats it will be added on top of the other items you already have! We are going to combine this mini-game in the main game in the form of arena challenges.
As always we will be happy to get your feedback.
Thanks for your support ː8bitheartː
Patch notes version 0.7.5:
Steam achievements.
Partial controller support.
Hotkeys for loot, stuck and equip items from inventory.
A game mode inspired by vampire survivor(See main menu).
GUI Scaling

Minor Update - June 2021
Hi everyone,
This is a smaller update which adds a quality of life features that were requested.
Auto Equip
Auto Equip will equip your ship from items from your inventory and docked ship inventory
Auto Equip helps equip new ships quickly from items stored in the mothership
New Gameplay Option
New option under settings
Contains two new options currently, 'Absolute Control' and 'Auto Save'
Absolute Control Navigation Feature
Enables the absolute control scheme on all ships
If enabled, engines will move the ship in the direction according to the screen and not the ship rotation,
Note, this requires 4 engines, one on each side of the ship to function correctly. Otherwise you will need to use the 'Move to cursor' (default Space) button to navigate properly
Auto Save
Allows auto save to be disabled and enabled
Make sure to save manually when you need to
Will not stop regular checkpoint saves from occurring
Codex Improvements
Implemented a preliminary codex UI
This will contain info logs of events and subjects within Star Singularity
Entries will be provided over time as the player explores the world and encounters events
Bug fixes
Scrolling a window with the mouse wheel will now only effect the window the cursor is hovering over, and not all windows
Sorting has been improved to not just remove spaces in the inventory and stack items, but also to group up items/equipment by category type
Fixed 'Key Binding' bug with binding menu (The F keys)
We are working hard on the next update that is going to be a major one! It will include achievements and trading cards and major plot update!
As a heads up, the next major update is going to invalidate saves again. This is due to the overhauling of the main game universe that can't be avoided. We're focusing to make sure though that all of your items and equipment can be kept to make it back to where you were.
Thank you for the support.
Make it so update
Hello Everyone,
This is a major update to the game, overhauling multiple areas that have needed attention for a while. We'll try to list everything here.
As a warning, this patch will invalidate all previous save files.
We will try and do something about this in the future (such as stashing all items to be retrieved in a new game), but for now this was unavoidable. Our apologies on this.

Build 0.4
New Void enemies! New Items! New Bugs!
3... 2... 1... Ludicrous Speed Engaged!
Hello all, I plan to update the game on Monday the 8th of March.
So what's in the update? The main change is that enemies are now designed to be beatable with skill or counter-play instead of relying more heavily on RNG.
We have added/changed few weapons that can be countered by the player: * Artillery is a new weapon, and the blast area can be seen before it hits, so it can be avoided. * Time bomb is a new weapon that can be destroyed before it explodes. * Homing missiles can now be outmaneuvered if you are fast enough.
Some of the other items we are adding enable different type of play: * Repair beam * Energy draining drones (need a better name)
Other changes/fixes are: * Cloaking now works with Vacuum Modulator * Cloaking is now an upgrade to shields (via imbuing station) * New graphics for starport and crafting stations
Full patch notes will be released with the update.
Thank you all for your support and your patience :)
