Star Stuff DLC Soundtrack by Domestic BGM Now Available!

Hi everyone!

We’re beyond excited to announce the launch of the Star Stuff Original Soundtrack DLC!

Sound design has always been a fun and creative part of Star Stuff's development. A few of us have been long-time synth enthusiasts, and the idea of crafting a whole universe of sound was a dream. Early on, we dabbled in our own sound experiments, but soon realized we needed some extra hands to hit the quality we were aiming for (big shout-out to Harry, Rory, and Nicola for jumping in!).

When it came time to define the musical direction, we found ourselves constantly referencing tracks from Tasty Morsels, an independent music collective we loved. So, I took a chance and emailed a couple of the composers—turns out, they were interested! Harry and Rory, who were working on a new project called Domestic BGM, joined us for the soundtrack. Domestic BGM offers background music that is actually good, and collaborating with them over the years has been a joy. Calls with Harry and Rory were some of my favorite moments—those guys are hilarious! For any developers reading this, take it as a sign: don’t hesitate to reach out to your dream collaborators!

Of course, none of this would have come together without the incredible Nicola Pedroni, our brilliant audio director, who worked tirelessly to make sure the music and sound effects were perfectly balanced and of the highest quality. Huge thanks, Nicola!

We hope you enjoy every track and that it brings you deeper into the world of Star Stuff. Thanks for your ongoing support!
