Small Patch - 09/Oct/2018
Mostly balance and fixes :)
Added two new songs (chill and tense ambient).
Enemies higher level than the player are now harder to defeat (starting at level 10) according to the level difference.
Reduced quantity of items needed for freighter quests, especially for rare items.
NPCs can no longer move your ship while docked.
Reputation gains for buying goods now only goes up to friendly (1000) and won't have any effect when hostile (-1000) or lower.
Updated Portuguese (Brazil) localization.
Fixed Doom Cannon not using ammo.
Fixed projectiles colliding with jump gates.
Fixed a BUG when getting location for quests.
Fixed galaxy map sectors not updating color after reputation changes.
BIG Patch - 28/Sep/2018
Hey everyone!
This patch took a bit longer than expected but here it is! :)
LOTs of new ships, including Syndicate exclusives with special abilities, and a bunch of independent and cool new models. I couldn't do everything I wanted but it was taking way too long, so I decided to launch it and just keep working on it. I´ll try to release smaller and more frequent patches from now on.
Basically what I couldn't do was the new white quests for PMC and Syndicate, which I´ll be working on.
As usual for old saves, you´ll need to generate new sectors (go to the edge of your known galaxy) to be able to see new ships being sold in stations and as floating loot.
Oh and Xyranoth has joined the team now. He designed the Syndicate ships (that were all modeled by Warsoul) and designed and modeled all independent new ships. Xyra is also working hard on Lore development, which gives me more time for everything else. Yey :)
NOTE: Translations (specially Spanish) are not fully complete for this patch. I´ll be updating it later on.
Added new ships: Hauler (replaced Rhino), Luna (replaced Space Fly), Mercury, Galaxy (tutorial version), Theseus, Raven, Geraki (Sam Holo's unique ship), Dorothy and 8 new and exclusive Syndicate Ships (all sizes except Dreadnought for now).
Added special abilities for Syndicate ships: Warp distance bonus, base shield absorption and trade bonus.
Added intro scene when starting a new game.
Changed starting ship and tutorial quests (All quests from older version saves will be deleted to avoid issues). By the end of the tutorial you´ll receive a special ship according to the path you chose (independent, mining or trading).
Removed reputation gains with PMC from mining and added repeatable quests to turn in crystals in order to gain reputation.
Changed reputation gains with Syndicate from trading to only affect buying trade goods.
Increased Vulcan projectile speed from 60 to 80 and changed shooting sound.
NPC spaceships will now also travel to locations like stations (and stay there for a while) or ship graveyards.
Changed loot to more often prioritize drops around the same level as the enemy defeated.
Changed 'reset skills' point gain to 1 every 20 levels instead of 10.
Added GPU instancing for asteroids and other objects to improve performance.
Mercenaries now warp away when you end the escort.
Fixed Venghi bases sound not scaling with sfx volume.
Fixed being able to equip incompatible items when changing ship.
Complementary fixes
Adjusted loot to drop more varied items as high level rewards.
Added reputation changes on tutorial quests.
Fixed reputation gain with syndicate for buying anything instead of just trade goods.
Fixed negative reputation with CoT and Venghi not resetting after the tutorial.
Fixed unique ships being sold at stations.
Added new aggro system that also affects mercenaries (and Sam Holo), which should reduce the amount of fights they start.
"Mercenary" Patch - 27/Aug/2018
Hey everyone! In this patch I decided to show some love to the Relations skill tree with a "boost" to mercenaries. I also added new shiny things (with easter eggs maybe?) to look at.
In this patch, new models (ships and venghi bases) were made by Xyranoth, who is now helping on modeling too, so Warsoul don't get overloaded :)
Next patch will take a bit longer since it will be story/quest related, plus the Syndicate ships patch. For now, enjoy :)
NOTE: Again, new ships will only be available to purchase in newly generated sectors or new games. Venghi bases, however, will replace old models in old save games as well.

Spaceship balance: All Yachts and Corvettes had their equipment space changed (mostly increased).
Added 2 Venghi Station models.
Added 2 independent (civilian) ship models: Galaxy and Komb-E. Both are intended for story quest use but players can try them as well.
Fighter Pilot and Fleet Commander knowledge now cannot be higher than your character level and are harder to obtain: The higher the level, the more enemies you need to defeat (Elite and Bosses are more effective).
Fleet Commander now gives bonuses to mercenaries and followers: +0.5% damage per point and 2% Damage Reduction for each 5 points. This bonuses are twice as effective with Leadership skill (Relations).
Mercenaries and followers will repair their ship and restock ammo (if available) when close to friendly Stations. Other NPC ships can also do that.
Elites now drop 1 item instead of 2.
Bosses now drop 2 items instead of 3 but the quality can be up to Legendary (orange, very tiny chance).
Added option to turn bump damage (collision) on/off when starting a new game. Existing save games will have it set to 'Off'.
Added some background reflections to improve visuals.
Fixed ship repair costs for 10% being higher than full repair.
Complementary fixes - 28/Aug/2018
Fixed credits drop being way too high in some cases.
Fixed sector info showing quests that were not there.
Fixed Fleet Commander appearing doubled on knowledge panel (When character has Leadership skill).
Tiny Patch - 15/Aug/2018
French translation! :D

Sector map now scales better with square resolutions (4:3 aspect).
Fixed tooltip getting out of the screen when showing ship models.
Fixed energy cost of Station Weapons.
Fixed some FPS spikes in crowded sectors, which should improve performance.
Proxima Mining Company Patch - 09/Aug/2018
Hey everyone! Here is the Proxima Mining Company patch! 10 new and exclusive ships for the faction, with new special abilities. Besides some bonuses, PMC ships now have "Ammo Replicator", which automatically consumes Metal Ore to create ammo when needed.
Oh and now we have Spanish and German translations! :)
NOTE: Existing stations in your savegame will not sell the new ship models, so you´ll have to generate new sectors if you don't want to start a new game. Go to the edge of the known galaxy to generate new sectors.
Added 10 exclusive faction ships for PMC (Proxima Mining Company), with unique faction bonuses, including Ammo Replicator.
Added spaceships: Walrus (Independent) and Corsair (Red Skull Pirates).
Added translation for German (Thanks David Kristall!) and Spanish (Thanks Ariel Alejandro!).
Increased "Station Weapons" heat generated, space used and range, making it harder for players to use, but still very powerful.
Changed some faction names. New names are Venghi Ascension, Children of Terra and Technomancers (former Brotherhood).

"Payback time" Patch - 27/july/2018
Hey everyone, it's AI payback time (or not)
AI Ships got stronger in higher levels, had some BUGs fixed, and now there are bosses.

Added Boss Ship, which spawns mostly in sectors with no faction control or Pitch Black. They are always visible in the sector map.
FIXED a bug that made most AI spaceships have the lowest pilot skill possible (bad aim).
AI spaceship power increased in higher levels.
Increased effect of tier 1 skills and reduced point limit to 5 (characters with more than 5 points in one skill will have all skills reset).
Increased warp distance bonus of Master Explorer skill to 3.
Items gained through scraping are now shown in side panel.
Renamed ship sizes to (1: Shuttle, 2: Yacht, 3: Corvette, 4: Frigate, 5: Cruiser, 6: Dreadnought, 7: Kraken), ship class (role) will be added later on.
Weapon slot heat allowance now increases for bigger ship sizes.
Reduced size of Heavy and Capital Impulse Drives.
Reduced Drone parts base price to 50 from 80.
Increased base stock quantity for trade goods.
Added Capital Impulse Drive Mk. IV and increased acceleration power for lower models.
Increased acceleration cap for ship size 6 (now named Dreadnought).

Patch - 23/july/2018
A bit bigger patch this time. Also, for germans and russians: translation is on the way! :)
Added option to abandon quests (not available to story-line quest);
Sector icons on galaxy map now also shows the quests you have there, and their objectives;
A waypoint can now be added simply by clicking the sector map (click on it again to remove it);
Camera zoom level is now saved;
Added equipment (drop only): Holocron (3 types), which is used to learn Tech Level up to a limit (3, 5 and 7);
Added minimum speed and acceleration without impulse drive;
AI ships bellow level 5 will not have shields now;
Full Stop (default: space bar) can now be bind to a different key at game start up;
FIXED: Upgrading stacks of items with only one Ancient Relic;
FIXED: "Saving Game" message was shown even when you were not in safe zones and sometimes it would stick to the screen.
Small Patch - 18/july/2018
Game is now paused when the quest log opens
Crystal drop from asteroids now have a random chance (average chance is the same), making the "asteroid scanning" skill more useful.
Reduced XP gain from destroying stations
Increased turning speed cap for destroyers and cruisers
KNOWLEDGE: Fighter Pilot and Fleet Commander can be gained now, but has no effect yet.

Small Patch - 16/july/2018
Continuing to follow players feedback, here is another small patch. Enjoy =)
Raised level cap to 50
Increased XP needed in higher levels and slightly decreased in lower levels.
Reduced combat XP gained based on enemy level
Reduced XP gained by crafting
Enabled towing (with tractor beam) of drifting ships to be collected in friendly stations.
Ship mass change in items (mostly armor) is now also affected by rarity.
Replaced "$" symbol with "ͼ" for currency
Added "launcher" in missile weapon names, to distinguish from missile ammo
Reduced crystal costs for crafting energy weapons
Added crafting cost in credits.
Increased spotlight distance. Now it also lights the ship and close objects.
Increased zoom out distance in higher levels (for big ships).
Reduced max strafe speed for class 1 ships (they were moving way too fast sometimes)
Energy is turned back on when installing impulse drive or shields
Changed "Drone Laser" to "Small Laser" to avoid confusion
