Over the years, the Hutt Cartel’s reputation has taken a hit. The once powerful organization no longer instills respect and fear. To restore the Cartel’s influence, two up-and-coming Hutts, Gaboorga the Abundant and Duuba the Magnanimous, are throwing the most lavish “charitable banquet” in history for the galaxy’s underprivileged. And if the Cartel happens to advance their business interests during the Feast, everyone wins!
If Gaboorga and Duuba can cooperate, they could rocket the Cartel back into the upper echelons of the galactic underworld. But the Hutts’ conflicting priorities means they’re constantly undermining each other. Each week a new Story Mission will unlock to progress this storyline, leading to the climatic choice during the third and final week: Gaboorga or Duuba? Only one Hutt can win, and the fate of the Feast of Prosperity is at stake. Choose wisely!
For players that participated in the event when it previously ran, you'll be able to immediately jump into the Daily Missions and mini-games! If this will be your first time experiencing the event, each week a Story Mission will unlock - progressing the conflict between Gaboorga and Duuba.

Rakghoul Resurgence on Tatooine
Date: October 17 - October 24 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 25+
The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) has issued an official level-2 emergency alert concerning an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Tatooine. Quarantines have been put in place to restrict traffic of the plague off-world, but exceptions will be made for individuals with priority clearance.
T.H.O.R.N. is recruiting qualified volunteer emergency responders to travel to affected areas to combat the spread of the Rakghoul plague. More information about the outbreak can be found by checking the News Terminals on the Republic or Imperial Fleet!
T.H.O.R.N. wishes to remind you that plague symptoms can be treated if they are identified in the early stages of infection. Whether or not you have travel plans, please consult your nearest trusted medical supply droid and get vaccinated!

How will I receive the items after purchase?
The subscription time and cartel coins will be automatically added to your account. The K-NorCo B5C Mount will be waiting for you in your character’s in-game mailbox. These items will be available on all of the characters on the account where the purchase was made allowing them to ride at first level.
Are there any restrictions on the items?

Satele Shan and Star Forge servers moving to the cloud
We are moving into the final stage of migrating the last two servers over to the cloud! Details below.

For this rollout, players should expect for all servers to remain offline for the duration of the maintenance window. This is to account for additional testing on every server to ensure that all servers behave and perform cohesively and there are no interruptions to the player experience.

The Best View in SWTOR Contest is back!
We are back with our third Best View in Star Wars: The Old Republic™ contest! We had a fantastic time seeing all of the entries that were submitted last time, so we’re looking forward to all the creative shots our players will be entering this year.
Starting today, players can submit screenshots taken anywhere on ten select planets. Take a screenshot of a scenic vista, a vibrant forest, a peaceful stream… and we’ll choose the screenshot that we feel captures the essence of that planet. One winner will be chosen per planet for a total of ten winning submissions.
The winning submissions will then be turned into Stronghold decorations and distributed by the Anniversary event vendor in-game! The ten eligible planets for this contest are:

Results Announcement
After the SWTOR team selects the winning submissions, we’ll publish an article announcing the winners before our upcoming 2023 Anniversary event. In this announcement, we’ll reveal the winning screenshots, and credit each player (Character Name / Server) who submitted a winning screenshot.
While the winners are credited outside of the game, they will receive something special in SWTOR; a gilded version of the screenshot they submitted! Players will no longer see map markers for Galactic Season 5 Missions that they are not currently on.
The conversation in Galactic Season 5: Chains or Freedom with Lord Umbral will no longer reset itself in some cases.
All mission items from the Galactic Season track are now Bound to Legacy (previously Bound to Character)
All Galactic Season 5 Mission items have been added to Collections.

Using the quick travel ability will now always open the world map to display all potential quick travel/bind points
The quick travel points will no longer show disabled when opening the map unless they truly are disabled.

Game Update 7.3.1 is live!
With Game Update 7.3.1, players may begin earning rewards from the Galactic Season 5, “Confidence in Power” and will see UI/UX updates for our overlay and HUD maps. Details on what players can expect from this new update are below!
Galactic Seasons: Season 5, “Confidence in Power”
In previous seasons, players embarked on their storyline missions with a new companion. Season 5 introduces a new way to engage with the story told in Galactic Seasons, with story progression now a part of the Galactic Seasons rewards. Players will unlock new story missions as they progress through the reward track, with the final mission granted at Season Level 40.
We are also adding new objectives that will involve companions being set to specific roles, Space Missions, and Operations. There are more objectives available for players who are Subscribers or have Preferred accounts. All the details can be found here.

Mapping improvements
Players will see various UI/UX improvements to our in-game overlap and HUD maps including:
The Quick Travel Ability will no longer open a separate travel map but the world map instead and it will display the Quick Travel points next to your mission objectives. These icons will also be present on the HUD Overlay Map and the Minimap.
A magnifying cursor has been added
Travel abilities now show up at the bottom of the overlay map
Exploration missions have been added to Map Filters

Balance Changes and Fixes
Players will also see multiple class changes and fixes across the board updating cooldowns, baseline abilities and more. Details can be found in the patch notes here
New to the Cartel Market
Lightsabers and armor sets inspired by Ahsoka and Grand Admiral Thrawn have been added to the Cartel Market, inspired by Star Wars: Ahsoka on Disney+! New “inspired by” tabs have been added to the Cartel Market window to make it easier for players to find these special items.
(Expatriate’s Armor, Lightsaber, and Shoto Lightsaber hilts inspired by Ahsoka. Note: The lightsabers are not exclusive to the main or offhand weapon slot.)
