Rakghoul Resurgence on Tatooine Date: August 23rd - August 30th, 2022 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT) Requirement: Level 25+
The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) has issued an official level-2 emergency alert concerning an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Tatooine. Quarantines have been put in place to restrict traffic of the plague off-world, but exceptions will be made for individuals with priority clearance.
T.H.O.R.N. is recruiting qualified volunteer emergency responders to travel to affected areas to combat the spread of the Rakghoul plague. More information about the outbreak can be found by checking the News Terminals on the Republic or Imperial Fleet!
T.H.O.R.N. wishes to remind you that plague symptoms can be treated if they are identified in the early stages of infection. Whether or not you have travel plans, please consult your nearest trusted medical supply droid and get vaccinated!

Game Update 7.1 “Digging Deeper” Livestream Recap

Game Update 7.1 will also have UI/UX and visual communication updates. These include Outfitter improvements, the introduction of the Combat Style Icon Color Selector (including a colorblind preset!), and increased customization for the chat window and subtitles. We’ve also announced the return of Nar Shaddaa Nightlife! This year’s event is scheduled with the launch of Game Update 7.1 and will be live on August 2nd and will run until September 13! Players will have the opportunity to earn new rewards inspired by last year’s High Roller Shades such as the High Roller Weapons. We’ve made slight adjustments to the slot machines in that the frequency of earning currency has been decreased, so the chances of getting items is increased.

The second season of Galactic Seasons started with the new Legacy of the Sith expansion. As mentioned in the Galactic Seasons 2 ‘Shadows of the Underworld’ article, the Daily and Weekly Season Objectives will be communicated on a month-to-month basis. Using the following Abilities now correctly move the character and trigger the animation:

Character names have been increased to 21 letters/symbols.
Fixed an issue where the incorrect repair cost was applied for items with an item level above 150.
New R-4 Anomaly Operation boss and Manaan Daily Area now on PTS
In a previous phase of PTS, players were able to test three of the R-4 Anomaly Operation bosses. As we head into the last phase for 7.1, players can now test out the next boss, Lady Dominique, on Story Mode.
In order to access this content on the PTS, follow the steps below:
Copy your level 80 character over to the Public Test Server
Head to Mek-Sha's Slugfall Harbor area
The northernmost ship dock will have a PTS Gear Vendor to get you equipped for the Operation. The entrance to which will be located at the end of the same pier
In addition to these bosses, players can also test the Manaan Daily Area! Follow these instructions to access this daily area:
Travel to the Manaan Invasion Zone via your Galaxy Map
Players will land in a new area
Near the taxi stand, players will find a mission board that will list out all relevant missions

Game Update 7.0.2a
Bosses are now correctly targeting the intended targets in Operations.
A popup error message is now correctly displayed on the character creation page when the name is unavailable.
The panel of the Hypercrate: Ultimate Cartel Packs now correctly shows that it comes with 30 packs instead of 10.
