When 7.6.1 is live (date TBD), players will be able to earn another Twitch Drop reward.
The AC-10 Disruptor mount will be unlocked after 4 hours of watch time and earnable for 28 days following 7.6.1 launch.
Galactic Season 8 “Rising Powers”
Kai Zykken reaches out offering an opportunity to try out Czerka’s new Experimental Combat Enhancers. In order to test the effectiveness of these seasonal items, players will be guided to jump back into Uprisings content.
We will be opening up Uprisings to all players and make them available at level 10.
Upon consuming the Experimental Combat Enhancer, players will receive one of three available buffs that will help them decimate their enemies as they complete Uprisings objectives:
Destruction Overload Buff - Every 5th enemy that is defeated will explode causing a damaging AOE effect
Czerka Combat Drones Buff - Drones will assist you in taking your enemies down!
Unstable Radiation Field Buff - A devastating point blank AOE
A word of caution. The combat enhancers may also give your enemies a buff as well, so stay sharp!

Rakghoul Resurgence on Alderaan
Date: February 18 - February 24 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT) Requirement: Level 25+
The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) has issued an official level-2 emergency alert concerning an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Alderaan. Quarantines have been put in place to restrict traffic of the plague off-world, but exceptions will be made for individuals with priority clearance.
T.H.O.R.N. is recruiting qualified volunteer emergency responders to travel to affected areas to combat the spread of the Rakghoul plague. More information about the outbreak can be found by checking the News Terminals on the Republic or Imperial Fleet!
T.H.O.R.N. wishes to remind you that plague symptoms can be treated if they are identified in the early stages of infection. Whether or not you have travel plans, please consult your nearest trusted medical supply droid and get vaccinated!

Issue with non US pricing for Subscriptions
SWTOR players,
We have found an issue with non US pricing for subscriptions on the Steam platform and we are working on resolving this issue as quickly as possible. We will communicate more info when we have an update to share.
Maintenance update coming January 30th
We are targeting January 30th to bring down servers and roll out the below changes.

Estimated downtime: 4 hours
We need to update back end commerce systems and improve the steam purchasing flow. This will require us to take down servers.
These purchase flow changes are a requirement from EU compliance for 3D Secure that need to be completed before the end of January. Below are the changes that players will see once servers come back up.
Purchase Flow Changes
Improvements to the checkout flow on SWTOR.com will take players to a new checkout page.
This will look like an EA page with updated text.
We have improved the logic around Steam purchases to reduce friction and resolve issues players were experiencing.
Updated exchange rates from the US Dollar to local currency will be implemented. Some regions will see a decrease in pricing for Cartel Coins, subscription time, and bundles while others may see an increase.
This does not impact the items in the Cartel Market
The base price in USD for all subscriptions and Cartel Coins will remain the same.
The price on recurring subscriptions will not be updated when these changes go live, however, they will be in the future. We will issue a 30 day notice to all players who have an active recurring subscription once we have timing in place.

[Do or Dianoga] The mapnote for the “Collect sufficiently filthy water” step no longer shows up on the map after the step is completed.

[Hoth: Trial By Fire] The heat level obtained from the L.A.V.A suit no longer persists when a player character logs out, dies, or travels to another location.

The jukebox inside the Remote Trading Outpost Cantina decoration is now functional when the player interacts with it at close range.
Decorations that contain randomized appearances for NPCs will now:
Show randomized appearance when initially placed within a Stronghold
Show a randomized appearance to a remote player who is a guest in the Stronghold
The Braidhawk hair no longer looks distorted when the player character is wearing the Ruhnuk Wanderer Chestplate.
The Braidhawk braid no longer moves when viewed

The D5-C0 DJ Droid now has an icon in the Abilities window.
