1.8.5 Map finalization

1.8.5 marks the completion of the seventeenth level, The new level now contains a collectable coin along with a fresh track. and of course a few minor adjustments to improve performance/gameplay, Level eighteen is underway and is expected to release late next week. If you the player would like to have some input on what level eighteen might look like please comment below before February 08.

Tweaks & adjustments plus a new map!

A new level will be added today, This level has a challenging new twist. Left and right keys are inverted and you are upside down, (or are you?) Along with the new level are some adjustments to level design, Improving positioning and render range to further increase frame rates overall. The controls section of the forums will be updated for the keybinding to restart the level (or skip to it) A simple splash screen for selecting levels is coming. For now though it will remain a key bound method, Happy gaming as always hope you enjoy!

1.7.3 SoundPatch & More

1.7.3 Brings forward a greatly required sound patch, Most of the music tracks present on a few of the maps were poorly implemented causing the volume to be quite loud. In addition the tracks have been reworked and sound much better. we're likely to see new tracks flowing into starballmadness soon, On a side note check out this video. (Link below) Map seventeen is underway no solid release date at this time though. The Eleventh map is now much easier to navigate post update you couldn't see some plats in front of you making it to difficult.

1.7.0 Map release!

1.7.0 marks the release of map sixteenth, I dearly hope you enjoy it this map is very difficult to complete.
Along with map sixteenths release are usual bug fixes improving gameplay for instance one bug no longer present in the seventh map was potentially falling right through the finish line (happened rarely) Plans for the next map are underway if you have any suggestions please feel free to comment happy gaming!

1.6.2 General update

1.6.2 introduces analytics to StarBallMadNess, It will greatly assist in improving maps that may be to difficult or to easy, With that being said achievements are in the process and will be available in the next few updates. A few maps have been tweaked along with some minor bug fixes.

MapNine - Tweaked the lighting allowing the player to see a little better in the dark otherwise occasionally players would lose track of ball (reduced difficulty) - Fixed textures before finish line (Minor tearing)

MapSix - At the start of the map a physics issue was presented its now resolved

MapThirteenth - Improved performance cleaned up entity's creating a heavier load

1.6.0 Is now live!

1.6.0 contains bug fixes for map fifteen (ChristmasDLC) as well as general optimization for smoother gameplay, Map sixteen is around the corner! as well as achievements & general progression states.

1.5.8 Level tweaks and enhancements!

1.5.8 Level tweaks and enhancements is now live. This update aims to vastly improve players experience in early stages of StarBallMadNess. Ive come to realize the game starts out very difficult, I understand this could be displeasing quickly. Various changes/tweaks for each map will be listed below.
(No specifics for challenge purpose)

    Level = 1
  • Just before the finish line, the narrow path is now closer to the rotating platform
  • Lengthened the landing after the small jump.

    Level = 4
  • Tweaked the new mini course just before finish line to be a bit wider as it was extremely difficult.

    Level = 8
  • Shortened the start jump
  • slightly decreased the speed for the spinning platforms

    Level = 14
  • You can no longer get stuck under the elevator after it goes up if you may decide to role inside the now empty space (PS) the elevator is not suppose to come back down you miss it.. you missed it (:

Level 13 is under some review and thought it may be subject to relatively significant change as always for the better!

The new map is on its way you can access a small teaser by hitting 1 key on your keyboard!
