I feel like updating this game very often over the course of my life.
I just added the ability to add a Twitter Handle.
Yes, I know Twitter censors anyone they want, but if you have Twitter, get some prizes. For now its just in game prizes, but as I get revenue, I'll give out In Real Life stuff maybe.
Well link your Twitter handle, get your 25 triderium. I recommend upgrading your Triderium Reactor.
Next up should be leaderboards and then virtual goods purchasing.

Upcoming features being added

I am here to discuss the upcoming features I have planned.
1) The next update will fully enable Triderium spending. You can spend triderium on some stuff now. You get triderium by leveling your Command Center to 7, and building a triderium reactor.
2) I want the ability for people to buy Triderium via virtual goods for busy people who work a lot and have less time to grind.
3) I want to add Leader Boards.
4) I want to add Twitter game show prizes where you can win Triderium in game or maybe even win physical loot via snail mail.
5) Once that is done, I want to add missions and a story line.

Hello,
In this patch, we balance triderium mining rates, and quicken Mining Operations build times levels 19+.
Also Triderium should be functional again. A few bugs crept into last build that were fixed.

Triderium Functionality Update
Hello,
Triderium as a resource is now being enabled.
If you are missing Xmatter or Scrap, it will cover the cost.
If you want to rush a building, it will cover the time.
1 Triderium is up to 2500 Xmatter or 100 scrap or 10 minutes of time.
I need to enable it to be used in researching and ship building.
A good strategy though is not spending it for quite some time and focus on upgrading your Triderium Reactor so you farm it faster.

Triderium update going in
Triderium is a hard to come by resource you gain from your triderium reactor which can be upgraded to produce it at a higher rate.
1 Triderium can cover the costs of deficient scrap, Xmatter or even time costs
I will start giving out bonus triderium to anyone with an account. All you need to get bonus triderium from here moving on forward is to hav a copy of Starfighter General, login just once until you see space and your command center then you will qualify. I want people who start early to get some small bonuses for believing in me and the project. Get a copy today and come along for the journey.
This version active now has a highscore tied to The Last Stand. Try and beat your high score.
It has some minor UI tweaks. Command center level 1 makes a factory instead of a hangar. Alert text no longer is unreadable in some situations.

The Last Stand is in!
The best of your fleet with some militia recruits goes against the AI Planet's never ending fleet. How long can you last? You get to keep all the scrap you can get. This is a really cool mode where you do a 50 vs 50 space ship battle with reinforcements.
When leaderboards come out, there will be three leaderboards:
1) Raid ELO
2) Base ELO
3) Most Scrap Collected in one Last Stand
Since it is such a valuable trove of scrap, you can do Last Stand only once every four hours for now.

Turret Update
Minor upgrade: Turrets now visually aim and track you. You can dodge lasers by making the turret not get angled to you. Before it always aimed where you were going to be. The Visuals are much better. This is a good update, but minor.
I believe tomorrow I want to put in the new mission choice: Last Stand.
You fight an ever coming onslaught of enemy fighters, destroyers, capital ships, and maybe even some unexpected stuff. That's the plan for tomorrow.
It will probably start off as all fighters.

It might sound silly, but crosshairs actually make me enjoy this game even more.
many many updates and patches
I'm doing like 2-4 patches a day now with all the bug fixes, features added, smoothness of flow, balance, etc etc. I think all the fires are out except the mainmenu having issues with stuck buttons which I can casually take a poke at, but doesn't slow the game down.
You now start with two wingmen.
The normal/easy/VeryEasy/Hard Buttons actually do something relevant to their names.
Hangars now limit how many ships you can make.
Here is my rough todo list:
1) Fix Stuck Buttons in MainMenu
2) Establish a good backup solution.
3) Leader Boards
4) Redo a speedrun video
5) Last Stand epic encounter
6) Turrets look more graphically pleasing
7) Fleet organization, upgrading individual stats, and choose the ship you fly.
8) Targetting/Radar
9) Put a targetting crosshair up
I am reconsidering even if I want to do missiles. They seem cheap. Like a barrage of nearly undodgeable damage up front.
I do still want to do bomber's charge shot that does a line that goes long range and makes an AOE ball... Good for siegeing bases.
Anyway, still super active on this project 4-8 hours a day. Jump on board. The main thing slowing me down from deving more is that I'm addicted to playing this game. Well a thoroughly playtested game is good too.
Important patch
This patch allows you to fly higher tier ships if you researched and built them. It also is much higher speed because I had a bug before limiting the speed.
Over all this is very fun now!
I work 6 days a week on patching this. I had on average 2 patches/day this past week.
Get a copy and start working on your base so you're strong as awesome updates happen.
