Everyone who has installed the game prior to this announcement must do the following :
(This does NOT affect anyone who installs the game after this announcement!)
Go to your user folder in windows, make sure "show hidden files and folders" is enabled! This can be done by :
Windows 7
1) Select the Start button, then select Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization.
2) Select Folder Options, then select the View tab.
3)Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then select OK.
Windows 8 & 10
1) Navigate to the control panel. ...
2) Select Large or Small icons from the View by menu if one of them is not already selected.
3) Select File Explorer Options (sometimes called Folder options)
4) Open the View tab.
Delete the folder "StarfighterOrigins" located in the Users/Appdata/Local/
This folder was created with the old configs and needs to be deleted in order for the new controls and features to initialise. This folder is separate from game install and needs to be deleted. Unless this folder is deleted for people with an old config, you WILL run into problems. Please note that anyone who gets and installs the game after this announcement will not need to perform this action.
If this folder is not deleted!
New binding will not save and set.
New controls and features will not work

Update Released
A 128mb update has been released. This new updated includes extended button support for all axis, collision improvements and the removal of the tutorial and tips at the start of basic training.

Please note, that for the new alt buttons to show up on previous installs, you need to go to your users folder Appdata/Local and delete the STarfighter origins folder. (You need to have "Show hiden folders and files" enabled.) This folder is the core configs so until this is removed the new controls will not initialise. ** This dies not affect people who install the game after this update.
If you are having trouble getting your controller or flight stick to work, please make sure its set to direct Input and for Hotas, you need to set your own buttons in Customise buttons (Main Menu)

Starfighter Origins released!
We have now released Starfighter origins on Steam! Thanks to everyone who helped out on the game. We hope to offer a multiplayer DLC towards the end of the year and there will be a free content update in June.

We are releasing the game a few days later than planned. We will release here on Steam on Friday 21st April 2017. We still have a few things to add and improve before we launch this Friday.

With the new gamma settings, you may find that the game first starts very dark, go to options and set gamma to around 45. There seems to be a problem with the feault which we are working on.
