Back with another update! In terms of the amount of fixes and adjustments, this might be one of our biggest patches yet.
We recruited the help of a fan and modder, Buttery Stancakes, to help us do some very extensive QA. Their knowledge of the game and attention to detail was extremely vital for helping us iron out a lot of remaining bugs and general polish issues with the game. Hotfix 3 - Note Cut off fix
Hello, back with a quick update
Fixed issue where the notes in certain languages would get cut off. We originally thought this was fixed, but were mistaken. Apologies.
Fixed issue where hitting "space" while in the inventory screen did not equip the item
Thank you for your patience!
Hotfix 2 - Spanish Fixes
Back again with another quick fix for localization.
We fixed the following for Spanish
Menu text got cut off
Two documents (one in Night Shift, and another in Prologue) had incomplete translation. We currently updated these with a temporary translation, until we can get this adjusted properly.
A known issue we will be cleaning up is the different text sizes on menus when playing in non-English languages. This requires another pass with our translators, so it may take some time before this is properly addressed.
Thank you all very, very much for your patience!

Fixed some issues where non-English languages would get cut off (especially noticeable in Russian)
Fixed issue where item description text was microscopic when playing in Japanese
Russian text uses a VCR inspired font for menus
Fixed bug where you could not command Victims to follow you
Fixed bug where the Fuse Puzzle wouldn't correctly "solve"
There will likely be continued updates regarding the game's localization, however this current update had some vital fixes included that we wanted to make sure got released ASAP.
Thanks for your patience!
New Languages, Mac release and more!
Greetings everyone,
We have some exciting news to share with you all today. We've just released a big update for Stay Out of the House! Here's what you can expect:
New Languages:
Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, French
We're thrilled to announce that we've added support for five new languages to the game. This means that players from all over the world can now enjoy Stay Out of the House in their native language. We understand that language can be a significant barrier for some players, and we want to make sure everyone can enjoy the game regardless of their language proficiency. So, whether you're a native speaker or learning a new language, we hope you enjoy the new languages.
Mac Build is now on Steam!
We've also added support for Mac users who play on Steam. Previously, Stay Out of the House was only available on PC, but now Mac users can join in on the fun too. We hope this will encourage even more players to try out the game and see if they can survive the horrors that lurk within the house.
Cloud Saves Added so you can play anywhere!
Finally, we're excited to announce that cloud saves have been added to the game. This means that you can now save your progress and play the game on any device. No more worrying about losing progress when you switch devices or play on the go. Cloud saves make it easy to pick up right where you left off, whether you're at home or on the move.
We hope you enjoy the latest update to Stay Out of the House. As always, we're grateful for your support and feedback. If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Happy surviving!
