The inventory button now does something! You can find it in the top menu. We’re still working on it, but you’ll be able to view your inventory and remove stuff. In later patches, you’ll be able to get some resources back after disassembling an item.
The combat changes we’re planning are trickling in. No significant changes just yet, but there’s some minor cosmetic stuff.
Fixes
Folks that were stuck after Snake Grass Enclave can talk to Archi to get some extra XP. We plan on adding more routes to gain xp later, but for now Archi’s got you covered.
Skirmish islands have been rebalanced slightly.

New Stuff
Friends! You can now add friends and visit their islands! Access the social panel from the top buttons. You can add friends either by their forum nickname or their skyrunner name. This is the first version of this feature, so expect bugs.
Most weapons now have sound effects during combat.
GUI reskinned with better art. This is still a work in progress.
The colorizing panel now shows bottles/paints, as well as color categories.
Nothing costs iocoins anymore. We’re removing that for now while we figure out the proper costs for things.

New Trailer and Patch 0.2.4c
We've just released a new trailer for the game that gives a voice to our lovable clockbot, Archie! Check it out on our Steam page.
The latest patch (0.2.4c) is looking pretty stable and introduces the game's story-driven prologue. If you haven't checked out the game yet, now's a good time :-)

New Stuff
The first version of the Prologue is in! The Skyrunner Recruitment Center is the first area players will experience when starting a new game. New quest islands: Bristledon Cove, Darkheart Bay, Dry Pines Island, and Bullseye Cove.
New instance: Atmid Mining Base (think of an “instance” as a dungeon, but one that could be outside).

Lots of new combat, safari, and resource islands, including new islands in the Southlands! Send your captains out on “advanced” captain missions to find them!
Two new player islands: one contains flox and one contains silica.
The first signs of structure NPCs! Be on the look-out for a few people working in your town buildings. Soon you will be able to meet all of them and go on quests to help them out!

Fixed Linux time issues. Buildings should have proper build times now.

Known Issues
Some objects on Snake Grass Enclave and Rivet’s Isle have the lootable particle effect before they should.

A new island, Runner's Rest, is now available. This special island features a Marketplace where resources can be bought and sold. It becomes available right after the tutorial. Just ask Archi about it!
Engineering Workshop can now refine resources (create Tier1-3 resources out of raw resources), but it’s more pricey than refining at the harvesters.
Engineering Workshop can now be built once the Office is at level 4.
All harvesters can now refine resources starting at the harvester level 2.

New Stuff
Combat Overhaul! Combat now involves multiple enemies, team turns, icons, descriptions, and improved particle effects! Wow!
New Outpost Island. At level 10, talk to Archi to get a new outpost island! This new island has new resource nodes and extra space for you to expand your town. You can build and maintain on both islands at the same time.
Cottages and Townhomes. Worried about island space? At higher levels you can buy these better buildings that give increased housing.
More Resource and Safari islands added.
A few new captains added!
Wrist, Neck, and Face items are now colorizable.
Fixes
Alpha Tutorial improvements. Completing the alpha tutorial unlocks the full buy menu.
The flow of gold and resources has been reduced. Upgrading your harvesters and Tavern now extends how long they will acquire gold, rather than increasing income. It still is required to unlock new work orders and crafting recipes, depending on the building.
