Major update for SteamCity Chronicles: Rise Of The Roses has been released
The first major update for SteamCity Chronicles: Rise Of The Rose has been released and includes bugfixes, gameplay modifications, and game balance.
It's important to highlight this is a tactical game that requires strategy and planning so frontal assault will meet with failure most of the times. Roses are NOT trained soldiers at the beginning so don't expect them to match up with the Yamagami soldiers until you l train them using the skill tree (available from the third level). They are an important part of the rebellion so make sure to collect them all on all levels!
We have ironed out some smaller bugs and we changed many of the gameplay to make it more interesting and fun. We also changed the behaviour of the Rose militia for easier and more logical control.
-The Rose militia has a higher HP
-The Rose militia can use the stairs and ladders all the times
-The Rose militia's turn is numbered so it's more predictable
HINT: do not use close-range weapons for long-distance! Oh, Commander! Read the hints and the mission objectives at the beginning of each level!
