Gothenburg, Sweden - October 28th, 2021 - International developer and publisher Thunderful Games, creator of the multi-award winning and multi-million selling SteamWorld franchise, is welcoming everyone to a new digital games showcase, ‘Thunderful World’. The event will be taking place on November 10th at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm GMT / 8pm CET, hosted by Hollywood and pop culture icon Mark Hamill. Tune in to the livestream on Twitch, YouTube and the thunderful.world website.
Tune in to see Mark delight us with a ton of exciting new game reveals and announcements from Thunderful. The event will deliver updates on exciting upcoming titles including the surprise indie hit of Summer Game Fest, Planet of Lana. There will also be more news on Thunderful titles like Firegirl, Cursed to Golf, Source of Madness, Tinkertown and White Shadows.
Alongside Mark’s headline hosting role, the event will also feature appearances from Thunderful Group CEO Brjánn Sigurgeirsson, Corporate Vice President at Xbox Sarah Bond, plus a few other surprise industry partners.

Race To The Finish In The First SteamWorld Dig 2 Speedrun Contest
Howdy, partners!
Together with the Ultime Decathlon team we’re proud to present the first ever SteamWorld Dig 2 Speedrun Contest! The contest is free to enter and open to anyone who wants to take on the challenge and/or be part of our amazing community of SWD2 speedrunners!

What’s it all about?
Speedrunning is simple in theory but tough to master. It’s all about beating a game as fast possible. The four fastest players to beat SWD2 during the qualifiers will gain access to the tournament final, which will take place on December 3 in a cinema in France!
This final will be broadcast in French and English. The same thing goes for the qualifiers on November 5 and November 12.
What you can win
There is a ton of cool prizes for the lucky winners, including SteamWorld merch and a rare chance to meet the developers of the game!

A quick update: SteamWorld Dig 2 is out now on Steam for Windows, Mac and Linux! It's our best game yet and you'll love it regardless if you're new to the series or a SteamWorld veteran. We can't wait to hear what you think in the forums. We also have the soundtrack available exclusively on Steam (mainly composed by Hotline Miami legend El Huervo).

It’s my absolute pleasure to announce that SteamWorld Dig 2 is coming to Steam for Windows, Mac and Linux in 2017. Due to popular demand from fans of the original, we’re (finally) revisiting the mysterious and unresolved setting for SteamWorld Dig.
Here's the official game description:
"Grab your pickaxe and dig into the sequel to the award-winning SteamWorld Dig! A platform mining adventure forged in Metroidvania flames.
In search of her lost friend, a lone steambot and her unlikely companion must dig deep, gain riches and explore an underworld riddled with danger. But time is running short..."
SWD2 will be much longer than the original and answer every possible question you could have from playing our previous SteamWorld games. We will share more cool info in the months up until release.
